On april 5 at 10pm i called their reservation front desk to confirm if theres available room and also our company discount. I wasnt able to get the name of the front desk who answered my call but instruction me to send sms of my info. On April 6, i went to the hotel to early check in but the apologized because if cannot see my name on their reservation list. instead of declining me, front desk personnel YNA made a way to look for available room for my family 💖 Im just so happy of their effort for going and beyond. Its my first time staying on this hotel and sury will come back. I love their rooms, and pool, their Buffet area is superb. The only thing i dont like is their Bathroom, it becomes flooded when u take a bath Lol. The sink is not fixed. aircon should not be centralized u need to call front desk to adjust the temp.

I love the place, very accessible it's just 5 hrs away from Cavite. The guards, receptionist and cleaners are all nice and friendly. I love the pool beach access to the pool, it was clean and big and you can just chill there all day. I also love that they put random chairs at the beach where you can sit and just watch the beautiful sunset of La Union. Check in time is also reasonable they allowed us to check in at 1:30 since the room is already available. They also have a complimentary birthday arrangement if you note that it's your birthday during reservation. I love their couple massage room, quite and clean and the therapist are also good. Overall my stay was so good except when I dine at their Coast restaurant, I don't expect some royal treatment but a polite staff would be nice. When we arrive to eat lunch the waiters take forever to bring you the menu, they won't help or point you where to seat they would not greet you or anything when you come in, this was a very unusual experience for a 5 star hotel, but even though their servers are not professional the sisig and grilled squid taste good so I gave them a chance and dine in again and was thinking maybe they have a better service during the evening but my gosh it was far even more worse, there are so many flies at our table and we have to consistently ask for assistance again which takes forever, they would not even make an effort to find a better table for you and I end up moving to another table by bringing my own plate w/ zero assistance and the servers are just staring, so my last straw was when there are still flies everywhere I just asked if we can just have the food packed and politely ask to pls include the fish and chip sauce I still have but being the consistent awful servers at Coast restaurant of course when we arrive at the room there is no sauce so I was not able to eat my left over fish and chips, although the pansit and fish and chips taste good it would not suffice my irritation with the service and again it was not even crowded there are only few tables with people seating so I cannot just imagine if madaming tao sa restaurant I am usually more understanding kapag mas busy but having 2-3 tables occupied with this amount incompetent staff was just wow, since I learned my lesson the hard way we dined at salt and sea the next day and they are far more better than the servers at coast, the food was also good at Salt and Sea so yeah when I comeback I will definitely skip Coast. Complimentary breakfast is also at Coast, there are typical Filipino breakfast selection which is ok to fill your tummy but just be prepared to wait if you want sausages, lol. There was a waiter who got 10 sausages in a row to bring wherever and it was just only refilled with 20 sausages that time so there are only 3 people on the line who were able to get the another 10, typical coast service. Most waiters here would not even smile or greet you, it's like you are invisible, even a cheap carinderia wou

My family and I had an outstanding experience at Hudor Resort. Everything was perfect. The water at the beach and pools was just right in temperature. The sand was smooth and neat. Most of all, we had a wonderful view of the sunset and the beach. Even when you're resting, you're about to sleep, and when you just woke up, the beach is just right there. The rooms are very pleasant, with all of the necessary amenities and hygiene kits, as well as a shower heater. The staff is really accommodating. They included meat as well as vegetables for breakfast, giving the impression of a well-balanced diet. They also serve nutritious juices and coffee. Overall, it was a magical experience; we felt like we were in paradise, and we definitely intend to go back.

They have a good service and staff. The only hassle is their elevator, they only have one key card and the only ones who can operate are the staff, so you have to call them if you use the elevator. The room is clean and the bedsheets are fragrant but you still see some stains. Their food is a bit expensive but it’s delicious. Overall, our stay was good.

Laoag no tiene muchos hoteles. He buscado un alojamiento y he elegido Viven Hotel principalmente por su ubicación. Es justo a través de Robinsons Place -- el mejor y mayor centro comercial no sólo en la ciudad, sino en toda la región de Ilocos. La habitación que reservaba también era espaciosa con un agradable baño y ducha, un sistema de aire acondicionado, TV con canales de cable, etc. El hotel tiene una gran variedad de instalaciones útiles ... un restaurante y un salon de pelo en el piso, un ****** Filipino arriba, un almacén de recuerdos, etc. No sé si tiene mucho estacionamiento desde que tomé un taxi del aeropuerto, que está a unos minutos de 10-15. El servicio del hotel es bueno y el personal es muy útil. Me ayudaron a organizar un servicio de descenso a Pagudpud. ¡Ayudas!

Staff was extremely accommodating, warm and attentive. Room, sheets, bathroom was clean and in-room food service was great! The building does look old, there’s only one small elevator, but I guess the staff more than makes up for it. They are responsive and very keen on making your stay comfortable!

Me quedé allí un día y pensábamos que no necesitaríamos comprar un pasta de dientes y jabón, pero tuvimos que coz que sólo proporcionaron un pequeño pasta de dientes y un pequeño tubo de 3 en 1 champú/sap/condicionador. No es suficiente para dos personas que tomarán un baño dos veces al día y se tosarán los dientes dos veces también. Su cojinete es pequeño también para dos adultos de cuerpo fino. Las habitaciones no son muy grandes (en comparación con otros hoteles en Dagupan). No hay ascensor. El personal es muy agradable especialmente la guardia que me ayudó a estacionar mi coche. No hay ducha caliente, pero su agua no parece estar fría. Se ofrecen pantalones. No para aquellos que querían descansar y ver como sus canales de televisión no están realmente claros.

Very good modern hotel, done out very tastefully and with lovely staff. It has a good location in the town center, close to the iconic church shrine, and places to eat and small shops. The free parking is another plus, as is the diligent and professional security. Filipino breakfast also very nice. The WiFi is fast and TV choices OK. Just one thing is letting it down - if you are looking for a nice hot shower late at night or early in the morning, forget it. There does not seem to be any hot water at those times, and it’s lukewarm at best for the remainder. We asked about that, but received non-commital reply that everything was running ok and the maintenance staff was on day off on a Sunday. If we wanted they would give us a bucket of hot water to wash with. Sorry, but guests paying for a hotel like this, which isn’t a budget outfit, expect hot water. Maybe it’s trying to save money I don’t know (some sort of system can be heard running around 5 in the morning and warm water is on tap around an hour or two later). But either way, would only return again if that issue is fixed. So, great place with a bit of an issue with its hot water. Its excellent staff ensure a high score, despite its shortcomings which are definitely a management / ownership issue.

La carretera de acceso es estrecha de una manera que puede ir por la espalda de palengke. La entrada fue amable y rápida. La atmósfera es romántica y guapa. Un estilo de resort adorable. Con 3 piscinas muy pequeñas. La playa es tranquila, limpia, agradable y privada, pero con una larga caída y señales de advertencia marcan la entrada que puede ser peligroso nadar. Y puedo ver por qué. No realmente para niños a menos que nazcas en la playa y sabes que es quirks. El desayuno fue 4-5 opciones pre-set pero muy OK para mí. Para mí sólo algunos pcs de fruta y pan, miel con mantequilla hará el truco. Con jugo y café. Fuimos a la playa de Kahuna para algunas lecciones de nadar y surfing en el mar. El hotel está muy cerca de la ciudad, pero no es muy fácil. Pero si te gusta la paz y la tranquilidad y disfrutar de la playa en sí mismo este lugar es realmente una opción. Las habitaciones fueron más viejas estilo de belleza pero habitaciones. La ducha era agradable pero por favor cambiar la cabeza de ducha en la habitación 8. Es pulverizado en todas partes. La cama era buena, pero no me gustaba que la cama fuera sólo un buen aseo. No hay hojas. El personal era excelente y amigable. Oh y el restaurante también se recomienda. Comimos 2 de 3 noches en el resort y muy buena para las opciones filipinas.

Monaliza Surf Resort offers the best location having located by the beach, literally. I stayed in Room 3, accomodation for 6 with my family. The room has a balcony which leads to, yes, the beach and the party! Room is nothing too fancy but leaves enough room for all of us, with 2 bunk beds and a sofa/beds.

El paisaje es muy bonito, el buen lugar para tomar fotos es muy caliente, esta vez, vivimos en dos zonas, las condiciones de higiene son preocupantes, hay que mejorar y es muy obsoleta, no se ha actualizado, la actitud del servicio del servidor es buena, la comida es muy poca y no es deliciosa, en resumen, Es un lugar adecuado para tomar fotos, no hay otros hardware, y la ventana lo coloca en la ventana, parece muy sencillo, la habitación está por actualizar, ya está muy desaparecida

Ubicación muy accesible, hay un parque de comida cerca. También está cerca del mercado, por lo que incluso si paseas por otro lugar, ya eres un ganador allí. Limpieza, viejo, ¿qué más esperas? Se puede tolerar. No recomendable para gente artística. No tienen ascensor. Por lo que no es recomendable llevar mucho. No estrictamente para visitantes, solo despídete como nosotros que fuimos al extranjero para perforarnos el cuerpo. El aire acondicionado es débil, porque es pequeño. No se ajusta al tamaño de la habitación. Pero La Unión es fría, así que mola.

Hotel Mercante was such a great part of my fun, peaceful, safe, educational, and rejuvenating stay in Vigan (Jan. 29-31, 2024). I had been skeptical at first about the 4.5 (out of 5) average rating that the hotel has received so far from Trip Advisor reviewers. After all, there are many other more popular (higher-rated and understandably higher-priced) options for accommodations in the city. But having enjoyed the Hotel Mercante experience myself, I do recommend the place for no-fuss travelers like me, who simply want a safe, clean, quiet, and efficiently run hotel. More than the basic amenities, however, there is something truly commendable about the hotel’s staff and management, with their warmth, care, and professionalism. Of course, hotel employees are trained to smile and to be polite, helpful, and efficient. But in my interactions with the Hotel Mercante team, I sensed a sincerity and an unobtrusive desire to be of assistance that is beyond the call of duty. Early on (before I had even set foot in Vigan or met anyone there in person), I had been relieved and grateful for the prompt and kind email responses I got from Hotel Mercante while I was searching online for accommodation options. I had emailed other hotels, but the responses from HM (particularly, Solenn and Sofie, Front House Associates) were not only prompt but also written in the friendliest and most professional tone. They courteously and clearly answered all my email inquiries. They were also considerate enough to offer the best room-rate options available, which meant a lot to a 60-year-old solo traveler like me. I also had fun getting some quick lessons on basic Ilocano phrases from Stan (the night guard, who welcomed me when I arrived early in the morning) and Sean (front desk officer, though perhaps his position may be higher—I met him the day I was leaving). “Agyamanak, ading!” (Thank you, young man/woman) and “ag pagna pagna” (just strolling or walking around to relax and enjoy the sights) will, from now on, be part of the limited Ilocano vocabulary close to my heart. I am also grateful to Sarah (front desk), Steve (housekeeping), Paige (Cantina Mercante), Shea, Suzy, and others whose names I wasn’t able to get. For solo travelers and for families or groups, Hotel Mercante is value for your money. But most of all, it is value for your (even more precious) time and trust. It may not be the most popular or most expensive/trendy/classy hotel in Vigan, but all I really needed was a place for homey, clean, safe, quiet, reasonably priced and very conveniently located accommodations—with excellent service and heartwarming staff. And I definitely, thankfully, got all that at Hotel Mercante.

Nos habíamos actualizado a su hotel principal, el hotel principal (gata) está cerca de llamar crisólogo, el hotel es un must-stay si estás en Vigan, la habitación del hotel (Reina) es grande, la limpieza global es grande, el personal del hotel son tranquilos alojamiento, las instalaciones eran increíbles, IG dignos, si estás en arte y pintura, estás en el lugar correcto, obras maestras de Manansala, Juan Luna, Imao y otros 👌👌👌

This hotel is a MUSEUM. Beautiful paintings and other incredible art collections line the hallways. Staying here feels like living in an art museum. The staff is amazing as well! They are polite, friendly and helpful. They serve excellent breakfast. I had the best Filipino breakfast in Vigan. This is the best hotel in Vigan Heritage Village so far! I travelled solo, but I would recommend this hotel to couples, friends and families.

We had a memorable and comfortable stay indeed! Thanks to the accomodating and friendly staff as always. Will definitely be coming back.😀

We just came back from our visit to Vigan, Ilocos Sur. I thought to write this review before I start to get busy with work and home chores:-) The whole staff starting with Jackie, Jo, and all others there, they made our stay like our true home. They are warm people, attentive to our needs, caring, and respectful. The Hotel kept their place clean and sanitized maintaining the historic cultural appearance of the place. They have warm water for bath and provided us with clean towels, and complete toiletries. Breakfast is included in the daily charge. If you want to ride a ”calesa,” Jo did a good job in finding us a beautiful horse (his name is ”Castanio”), sturdy and strong. Hotel Felicidad provided us with a list of places to see. The Hotel has its own big parking lot that is secured. They, too, have their own transportation that caters to tourists (upon request) to take them to shop around the Calle Crisologo sections. Their wi-fi has a strong signal. Not sure of a business center since we were there for a pleasure visit. It's best to visit the ”Calle Crisologo” in the late afternoon till the evening. The beauty of the historic houses reveals even more their meaning. Try to visit the Bell Tower, do not miss it! I highly recommend Hotel Felicidad to all. Its proximity is best to tourist attractions, restaurants, churches, bakeries, and many more.

Muy accesible. El personal es muy amable y 5 estrellas por el valor de dinero. El hotel está justo frente a Plaza Salcedo. La famosa Calle Crisologo está a pocos metros. El hotel es espacioso con un conjunto completo de tocador.

The place is good ... close to everthing but the parking area is limited.... good for backpackers and commuters ....
