The most important thing to remember about the Mark Grand is that Google Maps will show two Mark Grand hotels and one of them is wrong. Make sure that you find the correct address. The Mark Grand is a renamed and arguably improved upscale hotel in Saitama. It's a few train stops from Ueno and there's more than one way to get there depending if you're coming from say Shinjuku or Ueno. The rooms are immaculate with drip coffee, a humidifier, and you are given the option to have your room cleaned on specific days (not every day). JP customer service, as always, is excellent and although the breakfast buffet doesn't change, the options are more than enough to keep your palate satisfied for a week's stay. There's a Lawson at the second floor and an excellent gym, pool, and spa (not really an onsen). Unfortunately, the sports center isn't free and you have to pay a small fee (1200 yen) to use it but it's more than worth it. It's extremely popular with the older locals and make sure you visit in less busy times. There is a Cocoon mall nearby which is not busy and since the hotel is located in the CBD, you only come across salarymen rather than the annoying Western tourists. I also highly recommend the Railway Museum in Saitama, which is a short 2 stops away. If you're familiar with JP trains and don't mind the short commute, I highly recommend the hotel.

I had a wonderful stay at Yuno Yado Wadoh with a friend, the scenery out there is absolutely beautiful, the staff were so helpful and attentive, the food was so delicious! The staff were all so kind and went above and beyond to help with any issues we had. The public onsen and private open air bath was heavenly. There were also some very fun hiking trails within walking distance from the Ryokan. I would highly recommend this Ryokan as a fun get away from the city to really get to see and experience the countryside of Japan while not having to travel so far.

Great location, lots of great restaurants and stores close by. The hotel is super clean and very welcoming. The staff at front desk are very helpful. I wasn’t super into the Japanese breakfast but they did have a good selection which changed most days. The rooms are a decent (for Japan) size. Would definitely recommend and will be back!

旦那の誕生日祝いで、娘（2歳)と 1泊２日でお世話になりました。 部屋は和室10畳タイプのお部屋でとても広く清潔で 娘もとても喜んではしゃいでいました。 温泉もとても気持ちが良く、肌がツルツルになり大満足です 夜食の無料でいっぱい食べられる担々麺も辛すぎず 娘も食べられる程で、とても美味しかったです！ 朝食のビュッフェもどれも美味しいものばかりで 是非また来たいです！！ ありがとうございました！

8月。友達と2人で利用させていただきました。 駐車場が狭かったので大きい車の方は苦労すると思います。 受付を済ませ部屋に行きました。最低限の設備はありましたので泊まるだけなら問題ないです。 お風呂はスーパー銭湯レベルの広さで、お風呂カフェ独特の長湯するにはちょうどいい温度のお風呂がありました。 外風呂の近くにある椅子の数は10個ぐらいありましたが全部埋まってました。 ドライヤーは風が強くて良いです。 脱衣所は涼しくて良いです。暑がりな方は水風呂に入ってから出た方がいいです。 お風呂カフェですので本はそれなりに沢山あり、快適な空間で読めそうです。寝ることを優先したので読んでません。 前回来たのが5年くらい前ですが清潔感と民度（馬鹿騒ぎする人が多い）が悪くあまりいい印象がありませんでした。 今回2度目で清潔感と民度が良くなったと感じます。 付近の泊まれる場所の中ではコスパが良いと感じました。 朝食は追加料金でカフェで食べるか、チェックアウトして外で食べればいいので素泊まりレベルなら良いです。 友達は枕が合わず寝られなかった為次に利用することはありません。

The hotel is stunning. Breakfast was great. 3 onsen pools (2 outdoors, 1 indoor) and sauna. Clean and spacious. Service was awesome. Staffs friendly and helpful. Big parking lot for those driving to Chichibu. Within walking distance there is AEON, some shopping (ABC Mart, Daiso etc) and cinema

Highly recommend! We had 2 rooms, one with a private bath, the other was the special room on the 6th floor. The special room appeared to have the original materials and fixtures, which we appreciate. Everything was maintained very well. If I could suggest one thing, it would be having the carpet replaced in the room, as well as in the public spaces. Breakfast had a good variety of western and Japanese foods. The fixed course dinner was exceptional, from the presentation to the taste. One memorable experience for us was the table tennis. Our whole family had such a good time! Last but not least, the service was top-notch. From the moment we stepped in the hotel, Kitabori was there to welcome us and ensured that we had everything we needed. His professionalism and attention to details truly enhanced our stay! We would definitely stay there again.

先日、仕事の関係で初宿泊させていただきました。 こういったタイプの宿泊施設は初めてだったので、正直不安でしたが、ホテルの従業員さんの対応も素晴らしく✨ホテルもとても綺麗で気に入ったので、別日にも予約して再宿泊させていただきました。 平日だったので空いていたので、私的には良かったです。 仕事の関係じゃなければ、ゆっくり出来たのですが…取り敢えず宿泊させていただくだけ…になったことが残念です。 時間があれば、平日限定で(騒がしいのは苦手なので)連泊しての周辺散策したいと思える場所でした。 取り敢えず、写真撮ったので参考にしていただけたら…と思います。

Quería una habitación doble, pero me preocupaba que fuera una habitación común y corriente. Sin embargo, había una cama doble y una cama alta individual (¿un poco pequeña?), así que pude dormir cómodamente incluso con mi hijo que trabaja. También había un purificador de aire permanente, lo que la hacía muy cómoda. También había una fuente termal natural, que fue genial para relajar las piernas y la espalda después de tanto caminar, y el desayuno estaba delicioso. Fue un hotel que sin duda me gustaría volver.

Booked this hotel for overnite stay while on the way to Nikko. The are is quiet at night time. The room is just a standard Japan hotel room, though size is bigger compared to those in Tokyo downtown area. The hotel spa (or onsen) is actually few mins walk away (and need to go up to footbridge to cross the road). We drove to the spa mainly because there is a restaurant that we could have dinner. As we arrived late, we didn't try the onsen there. The spa looks good and staff there is very nice.
