Excellent experience!! The 2 storey house included living room, bedroom, 2 restrooms, balcony and private onsen! The view from onsen is incredible! Kaiseki dinner was served at the main building in a private room. The whole main meal and beverage were in high quality. Breakfast on the next day morning was good too. Staffs were helpful and polite. Free taxi round trip from JR station to the hotel. And just 8 min walk from the Kinrin Lake which is prefect for getting up early for the morning mist.

The view is superb and the footbath facing the sea is so relaxing. The room is spacious with comfortable tatami, but lighting is not quite enough at night.

Excelente ubicación, justo al lado de la estación Oita JR. El cuarto es limpio y bien diseñado, la cama es cómoda. Sin embargo, las galletas son un poco demasiado finas. El Ramen gratuito sirve en 9:30-11pm, que es tan bueno. El parque de autos está disponible en el sitio que cuesta ¥1500 por noche, pero hay unos pocos parques de autos más baratos en la zona del hotel que son muy convenientes.

I recently stayed at Kannawaen Sanso Ryokan, and it was a truly remarkable experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff’s warm hospitality made me feel welcomed and relaxed. The ryokan is set in a beautiful, serene location, surrounded by nature, offering a peaceful retreat from daily life. The room was spacious and tastefully decorated in traditional Japanese style, blending modern comforts with authentic charm. The private onsen attached to my room was a highlight, allowing me to unwind in soothing hot springs while taking in the picturesque views. What truly sets Kannawaen apart is the attention to detail and personalized service. The staff went out of their way to ensure everything was perfect, making me feel truly cared for throughout my stay. If you’re looking for a luxurious, tranquil getaway with impeccable service and a true Japanese experience, I highly recommend Kannawaen Sanso Ryokan. It’s a place we would love to visit again. Note: they provide shuttle from/to station with time slot! Convenient

Excellent!  A very big thumb up! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Awesome onsen, grand lobby, incredible seaview, unlimited drinks, excellent staff and clean facilities and places. Those are my descriptions to this hotel. I have a very pleasant stay with parents (aged 80+) and highly recommend! Surprising me is the front desk, can speak fluent English, Korean, etc. Special thanks to Harada san 👍🏻, she did a great job and arrange a shuttle to drive us to the airport bus stop.  Drivers are very kind as well! Breakfast is good, value for money, lots of choices, Japanese style( like sashimi rice, mackerel, salmon for grilled) and Western(toast, salad) are very fresh. Highly recommended! For dinner, this is 90 mins semi buffet style…. Nice to try, due to the “semi” set does not offer choices, and we don’t eat beef, Huy (restaurant staff) nicely offer to change to pork (takes 10 minutes to prepare) and take another 5-6 min to cook.  To me, a bit rush to get other food to finish, especially you are accompanied with disabled parents! Anyway, thanks to him, we got special menu - seafood, for my second night dinner. Honestly, the price is expensive, not worth for people don’t drink alcohol. But if you are an alcoholic, there is wide range of choices. cocktail, chardonnay, etc are soso! One “cons” is the location is a bit off from Beppu JR, if u drive, highly recommended, my case is the car break down (Toyota shop really disappointing) especially u carry aged 80+ disabled parents.

El servidor explica detalladamente las instalaciones del hotel, incluyendo la hora de apertura de la calorosa externa, el arreglamiento de la calefacción, etc. El servicio de recepción de nuestro servidor, Abob, es muy fluido, y organiza cuidadosamente, sonriendo amablemente, lo que hace sentirse muy relajado y natural. Este servidor tiene un mandarín 𥚃 y no tiene obstáculos para la comunicación. Esta vez, mi habitación está equipada con ventilador independiente, medio abierto, puede ver el color exterior, la calidad del agua y la temperatura son excelentes y se siente muy bien. Además de disfrutar de la decoración de la habitación, también he servido el calentamiento público del hotel. Hay una externa y una habitación, hay tiempo limitado. La decoración de la habitación no es demasiado grande, puede acomodar a seis personas cada uno, pero no tengo tiempo para nadie, quizá todos disfruten de la decoración de la habitación. Sin embargo, le sugiero que tengan una habitación con ventilador independiente, porque puede estar caliente en cualquier momento. Este 𥚃 no es mucho, es un alto nivel privado, puede disfrutar de un ambiente tranquilo. Tengo una cola de comida secundaria, que 𥚃 La comida es principalmente pescado. Además de tener pescadores y pescado para cenar, no se pierda a amigos que le gustan comer pescado.

유후인역 앞 버스터미널에서 도보 6~8분정도 걸리는 곳입니다. 하지만 볼 거리랑 먹을거리가 있는 장소까지는 가까운 거리에 위치한것 같았고 시설도 좋았어요. 짐부터 먼저 맡기시면 방까지 짐을 가져다 놔주십니다. 1층과 2층으로 이루어져 있고 욕탕은 시간예약 후에 1인으로 사용가능했습니다. 방은 1인이나 2인으로 사용하기 좋았지만 방이 붙어있기에 방음은 안되는 편이라 느꼈지만 사용하는데 큰 불편함은 없었습니다. 그리고 난방으로 온도 조절아 가능했고 냉장고도 있어서 식품 보관도 용이했습니다. 그리고 안내 데스크에 있으신 분도 너무 친절하게 다 알려주셔서 너무 감사했습니다!! 다음에 유후인으로 혼자간다면 또 갈 의양 있습니다!!😆😚

We had a great 2 nights stay at this Ryokan. Location was near Yufuin Floral Village, and around 20 mins walk from Yufuin JR station. It was a nice walk to Yufuin JR station as there were many shops and eateries that you can visit along the way. Alternatively, there is also bus 36 from Yufuin but terminal that would stop near to the ryokan. The staff were really outstanding, friendly and helpful. When we arrived, a couple of them rushed to help us with our luggage and to also shelter us from the rain. During the entire stay, they made us feel very welcomed. The Western/Japanese room that we booked was very spacious and had all the amenities we required. Note that this is a 2 storey living area - level 1 had a bathroom with private indoor and outdoor onsen as well as the living room, while level 2 had a toilet (w/o bath) and 1 western bedroom as well as 1 Japanese bedroom. There are 4 public onsen in the ryokan. 2 for female and 2 for male. They would rotate it during the day and night to allow everyone to try out the different onsen. We also had our breakfast and dinner at the ryokan as part of the package. The dishes were different on both days. The spread was huge and food tasted great. Note that there are very few places open at Yufuin during dinner time.

메인거리에서 5분가량 걸어서 갈수있고, 주변도 시끄럽지 않고 좋았음, 노천탕 매우 좋고, 시설 좋았습니다. 직원들도 친절하고 가이세키도 좋았습니다. 저녁은 스테이크로 나왔는데 스테이크가 조금 지방이 있어서 조금 기름진거 외엔 괜찮았습다. 이 금액에 이정도면 가성비 인정이요~ 추가로 계란하고 맥주 무제한 최고임. 타투있어도 노천탕 사용 가능해서 친절하고 더 좋았어요
