Todo fue maravilloso con la única excepción, para un hotel de onsen que tiene uno de los puntos de venta, en el baño de onsen, el agua era sólo normal agua caliente, por qué tendría que quedarme en un hotel de onsen con en el baño de onsen si cualquier baño con agua caliente ¿Lo haría? Trip.com sitio no especificaba que no era agua de primavera caliente. Pero afortunadamente había una mejor habitación con agua de primavera caliente real entregada a la habitación disponible para la actualización, así que gasté el suplemento para hacer mi estancia absolutamente perfecta memorable.

¡Perfecto! Siempre que vengo a Kioto me hospedo aquí. La última vez no tenían sales de baño, pero esta vez sí, el hotel está mejorando. La ubicación es inmejorable y el personal chino de la recepción es muy amable. Un agradecimiento especial al personal de limpieza del sexto piso, que inteligentemente tiró la basura pero mantuvo la almohada hecha con toallas. No sé por qué desaparecieron las máquinas expendedoras de cada piso. Espero que puedan añadir una máquina de hielo. ¡La próxima vez me volveré a alojar en el ALA! (El helado de abajo también está delicioso)

Nada más entrar, el personal me recibió con calidez y me ayudó a registrarme. Entré, cogí mi yukata, subí a mi habitación, me cambié y me enjuagué en la ducha antes de ir a las aguas termales. Hay cinco aguas termales (de izquierda a derecha: 1, 2, 3, 4 y 5). Las aguas termales 2 y 4 estaban abarrotadas, ¡así que conseguí un sitio justo durante la fiebre del ramen de soba! Después de las aguas termales, disfruté de helado, dango (empanadillas coreanas), bebidas y ramen de soba de cortesía como refrigerio nocturno. La habitación estaba muy limpia y también había un desodorante, que me vino genial para la ropa con mal olor. Cuando tuve que salir, les di la llave de mi habitación y la llave de un armario para zapatos, que usé para salir. Me decepcionó quedarme solo una noche, ¡pero lo mejor fue poder relajarme después de un largo día en las aguas termales!

Hotel bien situado cerca de la estación, con un Onsen magnífico con helados gratuitos. Por la noche hay ramen gratis que está bueno. El desayuno es muy completo, tanto de cocina japonesa como occidental. La habitación no es muy amplia pero es lo habitual en Japón. Personal muy amable y servicial, te puedes entender en inglés. Se respira un ambiente japonés tanto en el hall como en el onsen.

Suitable for those driving. Spacious hotel up on a hill. The common area looks modern but the rooms look abit dated. My teens appreciated the ”retro look” ..the ocean view compensates for the rooms. What we all enjoyed as a family was the onsen & evening bar & snack sessions. There were also some family activities,so it'll be suitable for kids. Perhaps summer might be more things to do. Free parking definitely a plus too.

Excellent location in Central Kyoto, right in the heart of shopping district, plenty of food options, and a short walk to Gion on the East. Very near to Hankyu train station that goes to Osaka Umeda. Staff were so friendly, always smiling and ready to assist. Rooms on the smaller side, not sure if it's the layout that made it feel more cramped, but Japan hotel rooms are generally like that. Best thing about this hotel is the open air natural hot spring! Amazing view of the mountains and you can even see Kiyomizu Dera temple in the distance. The water temperature was also not burning hot like some other public baths. There are complimentary drinks (including alcohol) on the rooftop terrace everyday from 4.30 to 6pm. Also free drinks from coffee machine all day in the lounge. I did not take hotel breakfast as I saw it is only simple bento box instead of buffet, so you can get better food outside.

The spacious bathtub, in particular, stood out as the perfect place to unwind after wandering Kyoto’s centuries-old streets. Although I didn’t have a chance to sample the hotel’s dining options, every other aspect of my stay was faultless. The exquisite decor, the serene environment, and the staff’s unparalleled service exceeded all my expectations. If you’re seeking a sophisticated, relaxing retreat that still allows you to easily explore Kyoto’s rich cultural heritage, Saka Hotel Kyoto is an excellent choice.

Nos alojamos en esta casa de huéspedes a principios de marzo. ¡Quedamos encantados! Está cerca de la parada de autobús, así que puedes caminar y disfrutar de las vistas del pueblo. También hay servicio de traslado. La cena fue simplemente magnífica: un miso delicioso, una gran selección de verduras y caldos. El desayuno también estuvo bien, aunque no muy variado. El jardín es precioso. La casa de huéspedes es de estilo tradicional 😍. El dueño nos dio instrucciones y un recorrido; fue muy amable y educado. La casa tiene algunas reglas, como guardar silencio, lo que crea un ambiente de completa relajación. La habitación está limpia, la ropa de cama está limpia y hay instrucciones sobre cómo colocar el futón. Nos dieron yukatas y suéteres abrigados, toallas y accesorios para lavarnos y cepillarnos los dientes. También hay secador de pelo. Hay dos onsen, uno para hombres y otro para mujeres, que se alternan para visitar cada uno. Cuando estuvimos allí, el onsen abría a tiempo, pero hay tiempo suficiente para quedarse. El barril de agua caliente es simplemente precioso, al aire libre, rodeado del bosque. Está prohibido tomar fotos y videos en el onsen. Disculpen si rompo las reglas, pero quería capturar esta belleza en un momento en que no había nadie. Lo único que eché en falta fue un banco al aire libre junto al onsen para refrescarse y volver a sentarse en el agua caliente. Pero probablemente sea una costumbre puramente rusa. Quedamos muy satisfechos con nuestra estancia en esta casa de huéspedes.

Our recent stay at Ujo Soan was, without exaggeration, the finest hospitality experience I have encountered in my 20 years of traveling across Japan. From the moment we arrived, the level of service was nothing short of superb. There are three highlights that made our stay truly unforgettable: 1. Exceptional Culinary Surprise: We were deeply touched by the hotel's generosity in providing a complimentary upgrade to the prestigious ”Tsuiyama Blue Label Crab” set. The quality of the crab and the meticulous preparation were world-class—a true gastronomic journey. 2. Breathtaking Sunset Views: Spending time at the Lounge ”AO” on the 8th floor of Bettei Fuka was a spiritual experience. Watching the sunset over the Kyotango coastline with a drink in hand is a memory we will cherish forever. 3. Outstanding Service (Sakura-san): A special mention must go to Sakura-san. Her professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail were exemplary. She anticipated our every need and represents the very best of Japanese Omotenashi. I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to Mr. Yasuhiko Okita and the General Manager, Mr. Nakanishi, for maintaining such an incredible standard of excellence. If you are looking for a sanctuary that combines luxury, nature, and heartfelt service, Ujo Soan is the only choice. We cannot wait to return.

We took a taxi to this location because it was a little too far by bus, and we had all of our luggage with us. The location is beautiful. If you're only staying for one night like we did, then you should check in at the earliest (3:00 pm) so you can explore the local area. There are some really nice shrines nearby. We were only able to do this after breakfast the next morning. We also had to be out by 10:00 am, which surprised us because it was listed as 11:00 am on Trip.com. You will be served traditional Japanese cuisine for dinner and breakfast. They do an excellent job of presenting all of the dishes, and the service is also incredible. But if you're not used to eating raw fish, or traditional Japanese cuisine in general, you should definitely bring your own snacks to eat in your room! We stayed in the Garden view room with tatami mats. The staff will actually rearrange the room for you during dinner and set up your beds if you select this room. That was a very nice touch, so make sure you don't leave your room a total mess before dinner! I have added a picture of the beds after they were set up. The garden view was well worth the money we spent for it. Very relaxing and beautiful. And surprisingly enough...the tatami beds were super comfortable and warm!
