Wonderful stay. Super delicious and wide spread of food for breakfast. The hotel has several restaurants and cafes that you do not need to venture out to eat. The souvenir shop is located beside Osen, do not miss it. Do step out of the area outside breakfast restaurant to see the full view of sakurajima, with sunrise view, though you may want to walk to the nearby lookout at the park. But I think the view from hotel is good. The bakery sells delicious bread, soft and fresh. Shuttle bus is available at both lobby, one near main entrance and one near the Italian restaurant at level one. There is a post box at the level one entrance too, you can send postcards there!

Es un buen lugar como hotel resort con onsen. Los onsens son realmente buenos. La comida es regular, pero ofrecen ramen y helados gratis por la noche como cena y refrigerio. La habitación es espaciosa, limpia y tranquila. Hay una bañera onsen privada en el balcón de nuestra habitación. Es muy agradable disfrutarla en la brisa primaveral. Será mejor si tienes tu propio auto para alojarte aquí. No hay muchas opciones de transporte público directo al hotel. Pero el personal del hotel también es útil para ayudarte a tomar un taxi a cualquier lugar pintoresco cercano. Los taxistas son todos muy amables. Aunque no hablan bien inglés, intentaron conducir despacio cuando pasamos por el hermoso parque de sakura y usaron un inglés simple para presentarnos algunos lugares pintorescos. La limusina del hotel nos proporcionó un viaje de ida cuando llegamos a la estación de Jingu y un viaje de ida cuando nos marchamos del hotel a Jingu de forma gratuita. ¡Me gusta su servicio y disfruto de una estadía genial aquí!

I really enjoyed my two-night stay at Samana Hotel Yakushima. The atmosphere during my visit was very peaceful, and the staff were consistently warm, professional, and attentive. The onsen was a real highlight, beautifully maintained and deeply relaxing, and the view from my room was absolutely spectacular. Although it was whale season while I was there, I did not manage to see any whales this time, but that simply gives me another reason to come back. If there is one small area for improvement, it would be the dining experience. While the food was perfectly fine, it felt rather ordinary compared with the overall quality and standard of the hotel. A more varied and distinctive selection, particularly at the buffet, would better match the hotel’s otherwise excellent experience. Overall, a truly lovely stay, and one I would happily recommend.

Nos alojamos aquí para celebrar nuestra recuperación de una enfermedad grave. Aunque llegamos temprano porque mi padre no se encontraba bien, nos permitieron entrar a la habitación antes y fueron muy amables y serviciales. Las bebidas y los dulces de bienvenida fueron un alivio. La comida también estaba bien preparada, con una presentación impecable y deliciosa. Sobre todo, la amabilidad y la cortesía del personal nos hicieron sentir muy bienvenidos. Si tuviera que ser quisquillosa, diría que debería haber habido una rampa en las escaleras del baño, y que el inodoro de nuestra habitación era un poco pequeño y difícil de usar. El hotel dispone de un ambiente excelente, especialmente con el rotenburo en el interior (baño abierto). Personal: La disponibilidad de personal de habla inglesa es una ventaja importante para los viajeros internacionales. Transporte: El servicio de autobuses en el aeropuerto a una estación de autobuses cercana ofrece un acceso conveniente al hotel. Sin embargo, es importante comprobar el horario de autobuses con antelación, ya que las salidas son poco frecuentes. Ubicación: El hotel ofrece comodidad para estar cerca de una tienda de comodidades, a sólo 5 minutos a pie, lo que facilita la recolección de cualquier necesidad o snacks. Precio: El precio es razonable, especialmente si se consideran las comodidades excepcionales incluidas. El rotenburo privado es un destacado lujoso y la inclusión de un desayuno fantástico y una cena de 12+ cursos de calidad es un excelente valor.

A renowned hotel 6 minutes drive away from Ibusuki station and 3 minutes walk to Saraku Sand Bath. The hotel is well maintained and staff are friendly and professional. They have staff that speaks both Japanese and English, and there is a shuttle bus service from the station to the hotel. Within the hotel, there is a single bath area, shop for locally produced souvenirs, dining and lounge area. The kaiseki meals were also cooked well. Worth a visit if you are looking in the area 👍🏻

Our stay at Kirishima Onsen Ryokojin Sanso was absolutely wonderful. The hotel is beautifully situated on a hill and easily accessible by car. The spacious rooms and amazing onsen facilities were impressive, especially the private outdoor onsen in the forest, which we enjoyed in the evening when it was dark – a truly phenomenal experience. The authentic food was another highlight, beautifully presented and truly delicious. We highly recommend Kirishima Onsen Ryokojin Sanso for anyone seeking a serene and authentic Japanese onsen experience.

Excellent ryokan hotel with excellent service, amenities and food. The outdoor/ indoor public baths (onsens) are one of the biggest and most amazing I have ever seen. Although there are many rooms and guests, the service is unparalleled so you don’t experience long queues anywhere. There is a museum in the hotel compound if you are bored!
