Aproximadamente a las 6 de la tarde, el hotel me llamó para preguntarme si quería reservar una plaza de aparcamiento y cuándo llegaría. Fue muy considerado. Después de hacer el check in, revisé la habitación y era exactamente igual a las fotos de Internet. ¡La bañera era realmente grande! También había una pequeña habitación de estilo japonés donde podías sentarte y descansar. El ambiente era espacioso y cómodo.
Si vuelvo a Jiaoxi, me alojaré aquí de nuevo.

Las aguas termales interiores y exteriores son buenas y está cerca del Parque Nacional del Bosque Celestial Chihon. Es un buen lugar para dar un paseo después de bañarse en las aguas termales o bañarse en las aguas termales después de caminar. un buen lugar para quedarse.

location is great closed to the park and centrally located ! breakfast is plenty with the varieties of choices but the area is like a big hall it often get crowded ! It's nice the hall equipped with a big screen playing classical music because of noise one hardly can appreciated !

Me pareció un hotel estupendo. Lo único malo es que escogí la habitación más barata y por ello era de las más pequeñas, y no tenía sitio ni para una pequeña mesa con asiento para poder trabajar con el ordenador. Pero claro, no es eso lo que se suele buscar en una habitación de hotel :) Pero bueno, tampoco había mucho sitio para abrir la maleta. Tuve que abrirla en el baño, que era más grande que la habitación.
La cama, comodísima. Me gustó la almohada.
El baño, enorme, y lo que más me gustó, la bañera tipo onsen, con agua caliente termal. ¡Un lujazo!
El desayuno muy variado y muy completo. El spa, genial. Tranquilo. Relajante. La pena es el horario, de 14:00 a 22:00. Estaría bien que se pudiera usar también por la mañana. Vi que por la mañana lo vaciaban y limpiaban, pero no sé cuanto tiempo puede durar dicha limpieza.
Por cierto, me llamó la atención una mala traducción que da un poco de miedo... :D En vez de sauna, en inglés, han puesto ”horno”. ¿no da miedito?
Una estupenda relación calidad/precio.

This hotel is outdated, you can see a thin layer of moss on the floor due to the showerhead dripping constantly, the public hot springs area has quite a few jet controllers out of order,l had to request a dehumidifier to get rid of moldy smells in the room. The breakfast was a reasonable price with an average quality, the rooftop naked spa area has beautiful night light views,also,the good thing was all the staff were super helpful for all the requests.

台鉄の駅からは少し歩きますが徒歩圏内。バスターミナルからは歩いてすぐです。
バスターミナルにはコンビニHiLifeがありますし、その隣にはスーパーマーケットPXマートがあります。
無人のフロントは台湾の電話番号があればスムーズにチェックインできますが、メールアドレスだけでもなんとかなります。ただその際はデータ通信可能なSIMカード、もしくはWiFiルーターが必須となります。
非常に低価格であるのに設備はしっかりとしていて清潔。足を伸ばせる湯船もあって温泉も出てきます。
洗面台が高いのも楽で助かります。
タオルもしっかりありますし、テレビ、エアコン、ドライヤー、冷蔵庫等もあり、コンセンントも多数。
枕元にもコンセントがあります。
次礁渓に泊まる時もここに泊まると思います。

the hotel was located a little further away from the downtown area, but it's a walking distance from there & the train station (~12 mins). in a very safe neighbourhood as it's near the hot spring park so there will always be someone around. the room is very big and the hot spring in the room was just a huge huge pamper for myself after a long day exploring / hiking. the staffs were all super friendly and helpful 😊 i didn't order breakfast when i booked the hotel but they still provide very basic breakfast meal for you (they even deliver it to your room so that you can have breakfast in bed 🥺). the food they provide is also v delicious. highly recommended to stay here as it is easily one of my favourite and most memorable hotels!

The only good thing this hotel offers you is a stunning view of the Kaihsiung skyline, however cleanliness and staff could be improved. The hotel says it is a 5 star hotel, but in fact it only offers 3 star experience; hotel staff looks not welcoming, the rooms are quite outdated, the aircon cannot be switched for heat - it was super cold in the room and they turn the aircon for you before you check in - why? It is 15 degrees outside, why your aircon is at freezing mode?

UUsuario invitado1. Misleading Entrance Signage
Upon arrival, we followed the signage pasted on a pillar that directed guests to a staircase entrance. However, when we reached that entrance, we were shocked to find the door marked with the sign “来宾止步” (“Guests Stop Here”). When we raised this with your staff, we were told that this entrance has not been in use since the COVID-19 period. While we understand that certain operations may have changed during the pandemic, COVID-19 restrictions have ended for more than two years. If the primary entrance has been permanently closed, why has no corrective action been taken and the misleading signage still left there? Carrying heavy luggage up and down a sloped path unnecessarily was frustrating and avoidable.
2. No Staff Assistance or Clear Signage at the New Entrance
When we finally located the new entrance, there were no staff members on standby to assist us, nor was there any clear external signage indicating that this was the correct way to access the lobby. The explanation given later was that all staff were away assisting with parking which is not acceptable. At least one person should have been assigned to remain at the entrance, or the last person leaving should have arranged for another colleague to cover the position. In addition, the Operations Director mentioned that there is signage inside the new entrance directing guests to take the elevator to the lobby. However, this logic is flawed. If guests cannot locate the correct entrance in the first place, how could they possibly see a sign placed inside?
3. Poorly Trained and Unprofessional Front Desk Behavior
After struggling outside, we called the number listed on Google. Only then did someone finally come out and lead us in. By that time, we were exhausted and upset. When we confronted the front desk staff about why they ignored us, despite us clearly visible outside the “来宾止步” glass door, making eye contact and knocking for help, but they claimed they “did not see us.” This excuse was clearly untrue, as we observed them looking in our direction. Even more disappointing, none of the front desk staff offered an apology even until we requested to speak to the Operations Director and asked him to review the CCTV footage. After reviewing the footage, the Operations Director confirmed that the front desk had not been alert and apologized on their behalf. However, he did not acknowledge that the front desk’s attitude and lack of sincerity were also serious problems. Being “not alert enough” and showing no sense of apology or empathy are two entirely different issues.
As an international hotel, the front desk is the first impression of your service. Regardless of the quality of your facilities, this poor experience completely overshadowed the positive aspects of our stay. It also severely damages the reputation of Kagaya Group — a brand that has long been admired for its exemplary Japanese hospitality and politeness. Although we appreciate the Operations Director’s effort to make amends by offering us a meal and gifts (which we declined), it remains undeniable that this incident reflects a failure in staff training and management oversight.
We hope that management will seriously review this incident, especially the issues of:
- Inadequate and misleading signage at the entrance
- Lack of staff presence and assistance upon guest arrival
- Poor front desk awareness and unprofessional behavior
We trust that Kagaya Group will uphold its proud tradition of service by addressing these problems promptly and ensuring no other guests experience such treatment in the future.

Lots of veg, however，I suspect the vegs are not properly washed, entire 1/8 cabbage wedge was served. I will not eat like that at home.

CCheryltmpHad a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. One of the highlights was the private bath — perfect for a relaxing soak after a long day, offering both privacy and tranquility.
The public bath was equally impressive: well-maintained and a great way to unwind while enjoying the traditional experience. The facilities were spotless, and the atmosphere made it easy to fully relax.
Overall, it was a fantastic stay with the best of both worlds — the luxury of a private bath and the charm of a public one. I would definitely return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a rejuvenating getaway.

TTungBest resort in Taiwan and worth every penny. Highest level of service - it’s like being at a modern luxury ryokan in Japan except everyone speaks Chinese. Room design is brilliant, and one king room fit my family of 2 adults and 2 toddlers with a California king and a separate tatami area. The room has an epic view from every angle the moment you walk in the door and includes a private outdoor onsen connected to your bathroom. I noticed many private in-room onsens in Japan are diluted down, but this was spring fed. The public onsen was huge, extremely well maintained, and included a large walled zen garden with an adjacent sauna and cold plunge. I was lucky enough to experience this area all to myself with one other guest leaving as I arrived and another guest arriving as I was leaving. In China, this onsen would have comfortably accommodated 100 bathers. The spring water is not high in sulfuric content (doesn’t smell like rotten eggs), and the temperature is relatively mild - ideal for my family. Given the limited availability of the hotel online, I was expecting it to be more crowded. I got the sense that room rates are controlled to optimize guest experience, not profit, while staff are trained to ensure that customers never feel like they are being ripped off or “sold”. It seemed there were more staff than guests on site. I originally booked 2 rooms, and some of my family members couldn’t make the trip. We didn’t need the second room, and the staff were very gracious to refund and cancel the second room on the spot. When I’m back in Taiwan or traveling to a place where Hoshinoya does business, I would not hesitate to book again and make a special journey to stay at one of their destination resorts.

MMagdalena ScholasticaThought I was upgraded from 36m2 to 28m2 (happiness room to love suite), so it is on higher floor, not G/F. Just note that there are two stairs inside room for love suite (door to room, room to hot spring) so it actually feel smaller than the photos. Original plan was to have my aunt 65+ to stay. Stairs may present some difficulties to them so ask hotel before confirmation of your trip if you have elderly /small children.
Pros: can listen to birds singing in the mornings while watching Mountain View. This will be one strong reason for coming back. Also, views from dining room is superb.
Appreciated so much for the staff at reception who meticulously take care of my needs to order take-out. She was so kind & I hope more ladies could be in hotel to serve their clients.
At this price (lowest HKD46x for basic room type) there is nothing to complain. So I would definitely consider going back in winter times.
Cons: plumbing system is old coz it’s uphill. WC can only handle liquid waste. Housekeeping effort will be needed for any solid waste disposal…
Noise from housekeeping (& kitchen staff sending breakfast to rooms) can disturb sleep for light sleepers.
When they change buffet breakfast to room service, I went to fetch a cup for hot water. A male staff intercepted me & asked abt the cups. To assure him that I won’t take these away, just show the pic below to reception (留下三大跟三小的杯). Hope he understands that female solo travellers are common elsewhere even i looked like locals; & simply bc my travel-mate have to leave earlier than planned.
