On Balance Gilberts was ok but I would not want to stay more than a couple of days. We where probably not its target customers. The rooms where really nice with a great view but my sister was at the end of the block right by the sewage digester for the resort which made a humming noice which was audible in the room at night, it also smelt really bad in the mornings. Admiralty this could only be smelt outside the room. Suggestion screen the digester and put some filtration for the odour. Plus point they treat the sewage. Thursday night was Ok in the bar although the rock band thought they where playing a stadium, just way too loud, when they stopped and some normality returned the bar shut at 2100, Friday and Saturday, better music but the place was rammed with a lot of kids running around. We would have gone out but the resort is isolated and its almost impossible to get a cab, if you do its very expensive and no guarantee you can get one back. If you have a nominated driver than getting out is an option. Saturday the beach, the bar where just full to bursting, first stop on the Keys out of Miami. A lot of very drunk people having a good time which is fine but if you are not one of them its no fun at all. A visible police presence kept any potential trouble from happening. We where going to go to the pool but there was no room left in the water never mind the side. It is supposed to be for residents and they are supposed to ware a wrist band but that is not enforced, very few in anyone had a wrist band on. In short its not a bad place but don't go if you want a relaxed Keys vibe, stay away from the rooms at the end of the block and only go midweek but only do that if you want to be in bed at 2100. Good points, comfortable rooms, nice views, and very nice staff.

¡El mejor albergue en Miami Beach! Acogedora zona común: lobby, bar, patio con piscina. ¡Todo es muy hermoso! Las habitaciones son muy amplias y cómodas! Además de cómodas camas privadas con iluminación personal y un estante, hay un sofá común, mesas y taquillas personales bastante grandes con cerradura. La habitación tiene dos aseos con ducha. El personal es muy amable, siempre dispuesto a ayudar. La habitación se limpia a diario, la toalla se puede cambiar en recepción sin ningún problema y también puedes conseguir una toalla de playa allí. Hay una parada de autobús al lado del albergue (incluido el expreso 150 al aeropuerto). Me he alojado en varios albergues en Miami; ¡este es definitivamente el mejor en todos los aspectos! ¡Lo recomiendo mucho! ¡Me he alojado aquí dos veces! ¡Nunca tuve ninguna queja!

100% this for the solo traveler, not for families. Great location has its pitfalls from random people hanging out late nights and you're in location of construction going on around you. No security on site.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay but stayed at a sister property and would rather go back there instead of here. However, we LOVED the decor in the room the same! It was clean with no bugs and stains! While there was no office staff on site, the staff communication was excellent via text and phone. The housekeeping team was friendly and worked hard! Nevertheless, we found the other location better as it was closer to the trolley stop and beach and found the amenities were destroyed and in poor condition at this location so we were disappointed. Be careful if you ride the bikes because the chain broke off on two of 4 bikes and that happened to us at the sister property and to people staying there too so just be warned! The pool was not the refreshing cool I hoped for at the sister property but felt like warm bath water and was smaller so overall, I enjoyed the sister property better. The location was also close to the street and we heard motorcycles speeding at night so if you can't sleep with noise, you will struggle. Be warned if the bugs! Mosquitos/ noseums. They are intense so take big repellent. Our neighbors were filthy and nasty and never cleaned up, leaving garbage outside and towels everywhere but I can't blame the property for that. It would be nice if there were rules to prevent that.

Cool new concept. Didn’t realize it’s the only one in the world. Nice, thoughtful amenities. Compact like a Mikrotel but with a funky arty twist. Clever sayings around the spaces that make you smile. Who doesn’t need to be reminded to smile while making a 1500 mile trek back home👩🏻🎨

Decent for Key Largo. Expect no housekeeping unless you stay 5+ days. Rooms are not soundproof so you'll hear noise. Front desk team was nice even though I had to ask to move rooms. Original room was next to the office and you could hear all the desk conversations. Second room much better and less noise though you still hear doors opening and closing. Good enough for a short stay but if you need absolute quiet to sleep this place is not for you.

La habitación era muy tranquila. No es una gran habitación, sino espacial para mi marido y yo. Las habitaciones se renovan para actualizar un antiguo motel y han hecho un buen trabajo con el tema del flamingo tropical rosa para acostarse a ese estético retro. La habitación estaba muy bien, pero no estaba muy bien. No estaba seguro de que la humedad era alta que la causaba, pero nos contactamos con el personal de apoyo y lo resolveron rápidamente, mientras que el personal de mantenimiento en el lugar trajo nuevas hojas. Y tuvo que usar leche artificial/crema en vez de eso. Todas y todas las estrellas permanecen.

Por el precio que tiene este hotel, está en una ubicación excelente y muy limpio. Durante nuestra estancia, muchas cosas no funcionaban o estaban rotas, incluyendo la máquina de tarjetas, así que solo nos dieron una tarjeta para una habitación de 3 personas. En nuestra habitación, la manija de la puerta del baño estaba rota por dentro antes de que llegáramos y una de nuestras amigas se quedó encerrada sin salida. Intentó varias veces llamar al hotel o a la recepción, pero ninguno funcionó. Estaban en español y colgaban inmediatamente o se cortaban. Por suerte, pudo contactarnos para que fuéramos a sacarla (estaba sola en la habitación), pero eso implicaba volver al hotel desde otro lugar. Después del incidente, en recepción nos dijeron que vendrían a arreglar la puerta, pero nunca lo hicieron. Las lavadoras también estaban rotas, así que solo nos dieron dos toallas cada pocos días entre 3 personas. Si no se hubieran roto tantas cosas, habríamos tenido una estancia decente.
