I had a hot, uncomfortable disappointed, and we were in utter shocked that the room I booked was not in their system. As I was rebooking, it was not the same as the first booking then blacked out occured. During the blacked out the my booking end up with only a bed in dorm style quarters, public bathroom and no privacy. My first booking was a package trip from Cebu to Manila which still in a wrong date. The actual date for the flight was to be on August 19 @ 9:50 but the three agent that I spoke to on the 18th got my hotel canceled and only provided me a rebooked solution. Sure, I can rebooked, thank so much for making my simple trip into **************** with my family, along withy impatient high functioning autism, 24 years old son who doesn't like his iPad to be low battery and no wifi. To remind you that the black out still happening, so during my aunty and son lunch the black still going. I have no idea what kind of menu and price for food and drinks. As I saw the server put the first plate of food, I was shocked to see the mountain square shape nacho cheese beyond understanding. My aunty is only 90 to 100 pounds. She doesn't speak English and doesn't understand what she ordered, so she asked question about salad and a slice of pizza. But that not what the server brought, he came out again carrying nacho cheese, same size as the first nacho cheese/beef, except the second is chicken then a whole large Canadian bacon pizza. I couldn't believe the amount of food that was ordered then a Red Bull for my autistic son? My aunty was repeatedly saying that she only want salad and a slice pizza then water. What she really wanted the cook and server wanted to do is take away all the food back including the Red Bull. Oh, one more set of food, two big pieces of Burrito. The hotel is still in black out and stuffy hot and dark. The staff are not good listener. My son started eating and drinking the Red Bull, when I saw him, I told the staff that Red Bull straight might kill him of a heart attack. I also mentioned that my son doesn't know self control when it comes to food which is called glutenny . He already pass his regular weight. I heard my aunty said that my son ordered all the food; she had no idea what he was ordering. Meanwhile the black out still continuing till around 5:30 pm, every building around the area has their electricity back on but not the Papabo. Our booking still in process. The manager charged me for the lunch even though the mistake was the their service, taking order from an autistic person instead of asking his parents. The manager decided to booked us in the one room that has two bunk bed, private bathroom and has windows cause still black out. The room is stuffy and hot, it's on the fourth floor, no elevator and dark to go up the stairs. We decided to lock up our things in the room cause still black out. My aunty over heard that the electricity bill was not paid. So as soon as I got down. The manager charged me 1500 pesos cash plus 1200 pesos for lunch that I only got to eat two slices of pizza and a couple of bite of nacho beef. I didn't get to have the burritos. The Papabo manager quickly went to pay for their electricity bill after she spoke to the owner. My aunty and me went to the beach. I for sure locked the bedroom and still no electriçity. My son went to 7/11 to charge the iPad. We got back at the hotel at 8:30 or so and the electricity was on and my son also in the in the hotel. Do recognized that the hotel keys was an actual key, and I only have the key with. In my surprised our bedroom door was wide open, our things are scattered on the chair and table. Now, just today at this time, I'm still looking for my necklace that has my Mom piece of earing, my oldest son alligator tooth pendant and my initial pendant A. I'll call the hotel when I finished looking at our things here.Yap, my necklace is missing.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The BEST hostel experience I’ve ever had! I honestly cannot recommend Yellow Umbrella Hostels in Cebu City enough. From the moment I arrived until the moment I checked out, every single part of my stay exceeded my expectations. The first thing that stood out was how spotlessly clean everything was. The rooms, bathrooms, common areas, everywhere was exceptionally well maintained. You can really tell that the staff takes great pride in keeping the hostel comfortable, organized, and welcoming. What truly makes this place special, though, is the people. Manager Glen deserves special recognition. He goes above and beyond to make every guest feel welcome, valued, and at home. His professionalism, kindness, and genuine care for guests create such a positive atmosphere that you can feel it throughout the entire hostel. And honestly, the rest of the staff were just as incredible. I would write names but truly every staff was amazing because every single person I met was outstanding. They were always smiling, approachable, eager to help, and genuinely seemed to enjoy making guests’ experiences unforgettable. That level of hospitality is rare and deserves to be celebrated. The atmosphere is warm, safe, and incredibly comforting. Whether you’re traveling solo or with friends, this hostel makes it easy to relax, meet amazing people, and truly enjoy your time in Cebu. The service was consistently exceptional, every request was handled quickly, every interaction was friendly, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. I’ve stayed in many accommodations while traveling, and Yellow Umbrella Hostels genuinely ranks among the very best. It’s not just a place to sleep, it’s a place that makes you feel at home. If you’re visiting Cebu City, do yourself a favor and stay here. You won’t regret it. Thank you to Glen and the entire team for making my trip so memorable. I book for 2 rooms but they give us 1 room and 1 barkada room, our first booking was already occupied buy a walk-in guest, the place is nice but the room and toilet are not properly clean. The only thing that nice to this place is very close to church, tourist spot, beach, and restaurant.

Presupuesto Amigable Estate con experiencias mezcladas - Buena por el precio, pero sea preparado para los quirks Reservamos este hotel por tres noches principalmente debido a su precio increíblemente bajo, alrededor de 500+ pesos. Al llegar, nos sorprendió ver la zona llena de motocicletas HPG (Grupo de patrulla de autopistas); se demostró que también estaban allí debido a un evento de la ASEAN en Lapu-Lapu, que hizo que la zona fuera muy ocupada. Cuando entramos, la recepción estaba inconsciente por un momento, y cuando alguien nos ayudó, parecían apresurados y difíciles de comunicar con. El hotel está en el centro de la ciudad, donde se encuentran los mejores lugares de interés de la ciudad. La presión de la ducha era ligeramente mejor que la de nuestro alojamiento anterior, pero no estabamos completamente satisfechos y terminamos usando el buque y el dipper para el baño. La experiencia de la zona de comedor en el check-out fue bastante caótica. La escena se extiende rápidamente con el personal gritando entre sí: ”¿Dónde está la orden?” y ”¿Qué orden?”, creando un ambiente muy confuso y desagradable.

En conclusión, Katchajo Inn proporcionó una base acogedora y conveniente para nuestra escapada junto a la playa. Con sus habitaciones limpias y encantadoras, servicio hospitalario y comodidades adicionales como Wi-Fi gratis y una mini piscina, nos pareció una opción encantadora para parejas que buscan un retiro relajante y bien ubicado. Es un hotel decente para Moalboal. El personal es amable y atento. Organizaron excursiones de barranquismo y avistamiento de tiburones a un precio razonable. Sin embargo, el conductor del traslado privado a Oslob resultó ser un ”Schumacher” y uno de los pasajeros se mareó gravemente. El hotel está a 10 minutos en coche de la playa de las sardinas y de las cafeterías más cercanas. Tuvimos que alquilar una moto. No limpiaron ni una sola vez en los cuatro días. Las toallas solo se cambiaban si se solicitaba. El desayuno cuesta 250 pesos. No nos gustó. Un par de huevos, tocino demasiado cocido, tostadas, zumo y café instantáneo. Fuimos a la playa a desayunar.

Perfecto para quienes viajan solos. Hay calefacción y el aire acondicionado es muy frío. Hay televisión, pero tampoco la usé. Intenté cambiar de canal, pero incluso el canal que estaba viendo desapareció, jaja. Si quieres ver el amanecer, la habitación 506 es perfecta porque está al final ☺️ y es simplemente barata. Perfecta para quienes buscan ahorrar.

This place is really top-tier. It is budget friendly but you get very good service, very clean space, facilities are also good. I like that they provide toothbrushes, toothpaste, toilet paper, shampoo and soap, very clean linens too. It is also located very near to Anjo World - which you can go to for entertainment, and Robinson's Supermarket is just very near.
