Para cortar una larga historia corta mi consejo es salvarte el problema y no reservar una habitación aquí. El personal es agradable y útil, pero no cubre el mal estado del edificio, los pisos se mueven y se desplazan cuando caminas; oyes todo de otras habitaciones ... Y para empeorar las cosas no es un lugar seguro para traer a niños ni adolescentes. No siempre es barato.

¡Excelente albergue! ¡Grandes instalaciones comunes de cocinar por sí mismos; había dos cocinas completas con muchas mesas y asientos para que varias fiestas podrían cocinar en un momento. El personal era muy útil y me dejó dejar mi bolsa antes de la entrada y después de la salida para acomodar mis horas de autobús. La habitación (4-bunk dormitorio femenino) era muy espaciosa, así que hay mucho espacio para ordenar a través de mis bolsillos. El bunk era grande y incluyó un plug USB y salida de energía allí. La habitación tenía grandes duchas y baños.

El hotel está muy bien situado, pero no hay nada más que una cama de 2 camas. La cama era bastante cómoda, pero el ruido era muy grande. El hotel está muy cerca de la ciudad, pero el hotel está muy cerca de la ciudad. También super molesto fue el pulsador y parar botones en el duche, se giran cada 15 segundos o así, es molesto tomar un duche. La cocina es pequeña, sólo almacenamos algo en el frigorífico, pero no cocinaría allí porque es vaaaaay a pequeña. La mejor es la ubicación, ya que está en la esquina del autobús.

Solo traveller, walking the Great Glen Way. I had booked 2 nights dinner and room, stayed in room 10. First nights dinner booked at 7.30pm. Headed down after 7.15, walked through restaurant to where bar is. Was followed by waiting staff who stopped me before I reached the bar. Asked me what I wanted. I told her I had a table booked for 7.30, she looked and said your table is occupied, you need to go away and come back. No 'have a drink at the bar', no indication when I should come back. As a solo traveller it is quite daunting to enter a restaurant on your own as it is, let alone to have to enter twice. I waited till 7.40 and tentatively returned. Thankfully I was shown to a table. On being given the menu, the same waiting staff declared in a loud voice: 'Oh, so you are on your own then!' I was already miffed, so I said 'Thank you for pointing that out' Her response was: 'Oh you look upset, can I give you a hug' and leaned in to hug me. On arrival at the restaurant both times I was wearing an FFP3 mask, plus a cloth mask which stated ”Immunosuppressed, please give me space”. I had taken this off at the table as obviously I can't eat with a mask on. How she could have missed this I don't know. I remonstrated with her about this and her sending me away at 7.20, her response was ”but the table was occupied!” So I cancelled my second nights dinner, instead I had a late lunch at cafe 82, just a 5 minute walk from the Loch Ness Inn. Their service was impeccable: they noticed my immunosuppression and served me outside, even bringing the bill outside, and nothing was too much trouble. The previous night I had noticed how thin the walls were at the hotel: I was woken that morning at 6am with the next door occupant having a shower. I did contemplate moving establishments, but decided it couldn't get much worse. How wrong could I be. The occupants on one side flushed their toilet 3 times between midnight and 3am. The occupants on the other side rose and showered at about 5.15. A good nights sleep I did not have. I so wish I had moved after all.

La ubicación es muy buena, justo dentro de Fort Augustus, a poca distancia a pie de atracciones y negocios. El servicio es muy acogedor, la clave es mostrar la tarjeta de la habitación, tomar la mitad de precio en el crucero por el lago Ness. Hay un montón de plazas de aparcamiento y hay varias opciones para desayunar comidas calientes.

We stayed for 2 nights in Brora at the Sutherland Inn. We chose to eat both nights and on both nights the food was good, especially the Chicken and Chorizo Tagliatelle, however the chilli was pretty tasteless on our first night. Our room was ok, bit on the dark side and no heating in the toilet but a very comfy bed. We enjoyed drinks in the bar and the atmosphere was good. So why only a 2, customer service was poor. When we checked in we confirmed we had diner booked for 8, we were told we could bring the time forward the we were told we couldn't the the waiter came yo us at 6:45 to say our table was ready which suited us fine but we then had to wait 45 for food. Twice during the evening the waitress on duty approached the barman and interrupted him while he was dealing with me. On our arrival at the hotel on our first night we had agreed with the barman that we would have breakfast at 9, this was confirmed later in the evening and put on our booking slip. Next morning we arrive downstairs for breakfast at 8:58 to be told by the waitress breakfast was finished , she then went to fetch the owner, he arrived a few minutes later and pointed out that it was now after 9 so breakfast was over, we explained what had been agreed with the barman and the owners only solution was to offer to phone his wife who was at that time opening another business so we left. Next day however ourselves and two other guests we served our breakfasts after well after 9, so why we couldn't have had breakfast the previous day has not yet been explained. Won't be back.

Nos quedamos en el Factors Inn por 5 noches, lo usamos como base para viajar, desde allí visitamos Oban, Malaig y Skye, en general nos alegramos de nuestra estadía, tuvimos una habitación superior con una linda cama grande y cómoda, Servicios de café de té un sofá, una mesa de café y no una TV de mal tamaño era perro amigable esto es grande para nosotros y nuestro perro, puedes tomar un autobús justo fuera en la carretera principal hacia Fort William o utilizar el servicio de taxis de confianza local A&A que usamos un par de veces, Los únicos negativos que puedo pensar son los que el baño estaba bastante fechado, pero después de haber dicho que no afectaba nuestra estadía, y al comprobar en nos se preguntó si queríamos reservar desayuno en el Castillo pero no permiten perros en el Castillo así que nos declinamos , had a delicious breakfast and evening meals just within 10/15 min walk along the cycle/walk path just across the road from Factors to the Golf Club/Caddy Shack restaurant & Bar that ran by a lovely couple that can't do enough for you. En general, nuestra estancia era agradable y nos iríamos a la vuelta y nos quedaríamos allí.

Ok so it’s a hostel ! But in this day and age i expect it to be cleaned between the different parties staying here ! It’s more than just the bedding needs changed and cleaned regularly ! Ok guests please keep the kitchen clean and tidy well it didn’t happen and the mould in the fridge and the general cleanliness of shared areas left a lot to be desired !! Sorry regardless of it being our responsibility when clearly it’s not being done staff should be ensuring health and safety is paramount especially given the current climate We cleaned up after ourselves but unless we went in with scrubbers, bleach and steam cleaners it would take days to clean up the mess that was the kitchen I was in a room two singles and a double and not enough room leftover to swing a cat never mind put all our gear bags etc we were literally on top of each other There’s no shared sitting room or anywhere other than the kitchen to relax, converse or do anything really ! The bathroom was ok apart from the bath panel Hanging off oh and the mould around the bath/shower but it was hot !
