«Fue un alojamiento perfecto en todos los sentidos. Me hospedé aquí durante mi viaje de Xi'an a Urumqi, y su mayor ventaja fue que organiza sus propios programas turísticos. El hecho de que se pudiera hablar inglés también fue muy satisfactorio. Reservé excursiones al Templo Maji y a las Gargantas de Piedra de Siete Colores, y disfruté mucho de ambas, ya que hice buenos amigos. «Incredible hostel for great stays! We met there with so many travellers we met on our way in previous cities, it felt like reunion. And we made friends with even more. The comfort there is top level. Everything is clean and so cozy. There are 2 big common rooms with authentic atmosphere, musical instruments, big projector to watch movies, bar. From the terrace on the roof you can see the desert and the sand highest mountain Mingsha. Also it was an apricot high season during our stay and there are apricot trees everywhere so we ate to the fullest. Highly recommend!»

«Este hotel es perfecto para extranjeros, ya que está cerca del templo de Dafo y la recepción puede reservar excursiones chárter a Mati Si, las montañas Rainbow (es un placer bucear, pero si te gustan las fotos de Redbook, por lo que te recomendamos que no las muestres) y el Gran Cañón Pingshan, lo que resulta muy útil, ya que hay poco o ningún transporte público para llegar a estos lugares. Para algunas de estas atracciones, también puedes obtener un descuento en la entrada si reservas con ellos (pero es posible que no puedas utilizar otros descuentos, como el de los estudiantes universitarios). Puede resultar complicado localizar el hotel, ya que está en el segundo piso de un edificio. Busca el cartel de ”Wolf Tours”. Las habitaciones son bastante amplias, pero un poco polvorientas y la ducha no tiene paredes. «El hostal está ubicado en el centro de la ciudad, cerca de las Torres de la Campana y del Tambor. Cuenta con estacionamiento propio, es económico, limpio y está bien equipado. El Museo de Zhangye, Ganzhou Food City y el mercado nocturno están a poca distancia a pie. Puedes preguntar al dueño del hostal sobre cómo compartir coche; atracciones como las Montañas Arcoíris, el Gran Cañón y el Templo Mati requieren vehículo. Si mi agenda no hubiera estado tan apretada, me habría quedado unos días más. Sin duda, es una excelente opción para un futuro viaje a Zhangye.»

«If you want to visit all the attractions in Jiayuguan I think that’s the best place to stay for a night. Very close to the bus stop from where you can get to the ticket office and start your journey. The host there knows good English and it’s easy to operate. We were given some memorable cards with the pictures of sightseeings from this area. Incredible! The beds are clean and the hostel is tidy. There’s also a cafe inside where you can grab wholesome food»

«You have to give a 100yuan deposit for the key card. I had trouble with my WeChat not accepting the refund, and when I asked the staff to help, they sighed and got annoyed. Even went as far to say “my head hurts” to nearby customers and other unnecessary stuff in mandarin thinking I couldn’t understand. Like, my head hurts too, I just want the money back that you said you’d refund me. All worked out in the end, but didn’t appreciate the attitude. Also even though this is called a youth hostel, there were many older people staying which led to a weird vibe. Good location and ok for the night but I wouldn’t stay again»

«No se puede decir que la ubicación sea realmente inoportuna. Es el centro de la ciudad de Lanzhou, y todo puede ir por aquí. Las instalaciones se sientan como si fueran un poco viejas. «I stayed in this hostel for a total of 5 nights, with two breaks when I went on tours outside of Lanzhou. I have put in reviews earlier, so this is my final for the hostel that had begun to feel like Home. The hostel itself is very comfortable a stay: clean, comfortable wide bed with sliding door for privacy, nice seating areas... It is run by a family who take turns staying over so that there is 24 hour reception. All are friendly and kind, especially the father. The parents don't speak English but you can easily use a translation app; other guests will probably interact with you. The location: it is situated about a 5 minute walk to the Yellow River Tower, and a further 10 minute walk to the Lanzhou Old Street area where there is an amazing array of food options. Just outside the hostel is a Halal (Muslim-run) restaurant called (Ruhua 如华）which the hostel owners say have been in operation for 20 or 30 years. The hand-pulled (手抓) mutton that I had there was fantastic, even though I am typically not a mutton eater --- the taste is a delicate and balanced mix of light spices (I could taste a hint of ginger, for example) and saltiness. And the 八宝茶 is also excellent. A 7 minute walk to the right after exiting the hostel (past the above -mentioned restaurant) to the main road where many buses ply, you will find another good mix of local food options, especially in the morning. The hostel is conveniently located near the Lanzhou West railway station. There is a bus 136 that runs just outside the hostel and gets you to the railway station in 20 minutes. Hope this helps someone deciding on where to stay in Lanzhou, since there doesn't seem such a good range of hostels. «숙소 청결이 그렇게 좋진않아요. 근데 다들 너무 친절해요. A동 22층으로 가야해요 처음에 찾기 너무 어려웠어요. 휴지랑 비누가 없어요ㅠ(이게 너무 불편했음) 수건제공도 안되구요. 밤 몇시부터는 드라이어사용 금지였어요! 정수기랑 슬리퍼 드라이어 있고 치약칫솔 샴푸 바디워시는 일회용품 있어요! 근데 다들 너무 친절하셔서 좋은기운 받고갔어요 무료짐보관도 가능해요»

«The place is a cheap solid utilitarian option in an excellent location. This is not a hostel for the meek. As far as I can tell: there are at least 16 sleep pods and one bathroom. (A 2-liter Platypus water bladder can, as always, help men not need to use the bathroom to pee as much (also great for not needing to leave the from room at all, for that.) There is a very accesible stairwell for any serious emergency- just bring a container and your TP. Bring your own toilet paper. No towel service. I am not sure my sheets were clean- I just slept in my clothes. The whole place needs a good scrub-down. WiFi is by QR-code only. Potable water appeared to be provided. Sleep pod had decent lighting and sockets. No carpets. Finding and accessing the building takes a little detective work but the person managing their account sent me decent enough pics to find my way. I got into and out of the building by following tenants- never needed to solo. The picture of the small room I got for $2 extra was not the one in the picture- it was actually in a pod; but the pod was in a good location. The place is a cheap solid utilitarian option in an excellent location.»
