A place far far away from town and also Mon Jam. I was planning to stay 1 night in Mon Jam actually, however I didn’t noticed the homestay is another mountain from Mon Jam (called Pong Yaeng) which was Trip.com suggested to me when I search for hotels of Mon Jam. I booked it for family trip, we called the Grab to send us to there so that we can check in and drop the bags first. I must to say, the way to get to the homestay was quite thrilling cause the last section of the way were rugged mountain road, luckily the driver was expertly to send us there safely. After we settled down and want to go out to Mon Jam for sightseeing, there were no car to pick us up through Grab cause we were too far away from town. Although the host had help us to ask for the ride, there was no reply too. Even if yes, it cost around 400-500 THB which was very expensive tho. So we were stuck in the homestay to having the peace and silence. Luckily we can still order food from the host when we feeling hungry, having the meal with the mountain view and BBQ+hotpot for dinner were also some good experiences here. Actually the place was quite good and the host was very nice, I’m sure there would be a good place to stay if you are not concerned about the location and looking for some peaceful stay. But I would strongly recommend you to rent a car, motorbike or even a driver, just in case you want to go somewhere else for sightseeing. Or you can go to play or sightseeing before going to the homestay, it’s all up to you😉

With the help of the host from this glamping site, we rented a sedan from them to drive us from Chiang Mai airport to this location. It was very remote, and we are happy the host has such service. We are fully aware of the location, it is also the reason we came here to rest after 7 days of Bangkok trip. We were also very surprised the cleanliness of the site, there is not mosquitos or any other small insects around the camp site, which we were well prepared for that but we are very happy with the environment without worrying this. They must have done a lot of control to come to this state. Thank you! Service is very good, they have golf car to drive us to the restaurant where we can have breakfast, lunch or dinner. Dinner they will offer pizza or mookata, guess everyone will order this. We stayed at the Kissing star for 2 nights, first night we bought street food from MaeKampong for our dinner, second night we had Mookata, frankly speaking their food is not expensive too, we can hardly finish their whole set for 2 persons. As for their facilities, I think the pictures are self explained. they have marshall soundbar, enabled Netflix, youtube etc, so that one can really rest in the room, listening to the nature and watching tv. Their host can be communicated via whatsapp too, so just tell them anything you need, they will try to help. I love their hospitality even in such remote area but still trying to offer us the best!!!

Tuvimos una estadía genial en Mae Kampong en Chaiyaphol. El hotel está en la cima de Renton, un paseo fantástico en scooter. Nuestra habitación estaba al lado del río y teníamos la naturaleza a la vuelta de la esquina. Recomendaría este hotel a personas que no necesiten un baño de 5 estrellas, ya que tiene un ambiente rural y la habitación es pequeña, pero la proximidad a la naturaleza lo hace muy gratificante. Además, las comidas son excelentes en el desayuno y la cena, y el paseo gratuito para ver la puesta de sol por la mañana fue espectacular.

Mi novia y yo recientemente tuvimos la oportunidad de alojarnos en este alojamiento en Chiang Mai. Y debo decir que estoy muy impresionado. El alojamiento está decorado en un estilo tradicional Lanna. Hace que el ambiente parezca muy encantador y cálido. Desde el momento en que entré, me sentí atraído por la belleza del arte local. El alojamiento tiene un diseño perfecto. Incluyendo muebles de madera, hermosas lámparas y otras decoraciones. Eso ayuda a crear una atmósfera romántica para nuestras vacaciones. La ubicación es excelente. Está cerca de la puerta de Chiang Mai. Y lo más importante, está cerca de Wualai Walking Street. Uno de los puntos turísticos que no te puedes perder si vienes a Chiang Mai. Wualai Walking Street tiene comida, recuerdos y artesanías exclusivas de Chiang Mai. Caminar aquí por la noche es una experiencia memorable. Otra cosa que hace que nos guste mucho este lugar es que debajo del hotel hay una pastelería y una tienda de matcha. que le gusta especialmente a mi novio Degustando deliciosos postres junto con un rico té verde matcha en una hermosa atmósfera Lanna Es lo que hace que esta estancia sea aún más especial. Además, la propiedad cuenta con un personal administrativo en línea disponible para ayudar las 24 horas del día, lo que nos da la tranquilidad de que habrá alguien para ayudar con cada asunto durante nuestra estadía. Ya sea que tenga preguntas o solicite asesoramiento sobre diversos asuntos, Puedes contactar inmediatamente. Lo cual es un muy buen servicio. Todo el personal es amable y siempre está dispuesto a ayudar. Las habitaciones están impecables y cuentan con todas las comodidades.

The host i s very welcoming and hospitable. The room is clean, elegant, spacious and comfortable. And it is generous of the host that there are a lot of bottled waters in the room that all you can drink, and also a few bicycles in the lobby that you can borrow for free. The location is also great, many massage stores and local food restaurants nearby, you can also take a walk to Maya or old town area within 30 min.

I stayed at The Connect Chiang Mai hotel for one night and was quite impressed with what they offer in this price range. The room was spacious and came with all the necessary amenities. I particularly liked the minimalist design of the bathroom. However, I would suggest adding a soap dispenser and hand towels at the sink for convenience when washing and drying hands. One major advantage of this hotel is the ample parking space available inside the property. Additionally, the coffee shop located under the hotel serves good coffee, which was a nice touch. This hotel is ideal for travelers with a vehicle as it’s conveniently located near food options, grocery stores, convenience stores, and the airport. A small note of caution: the hotel doesn’t have an elevator, so it’s best to avoid bringing large luggage. Since it’s a three-story building, be prepared to walk up and down the stairs. Overall, The Connect Chiang Mai is a good option for budget-conscious travelers who value convenience and comfort.

Staying at the duplex here is super chill. The house is clean, a lot of space and bathroom is very convenient since they do wet and dry bathroom in the duplex. Parking is free at the parking they provided. The stream in front of the house is full of flow energy which that flowing sound makes my mind stay so calm. Worth the money and worth the driving.
