Many bus have direct route to Gion, and other tourist spot (about 30 minutes riding). Please take a notes, this hotel is not in tourist area, very quiet and you will meet with many local people here. + this hotel have a concierge and standby staff, so you can keep the luggage before checkin. + this hotel is very new, i think maybe open early 2026, when we proceed for the check in, the hotel staff gave us some welcoming gift, and we can saw many flowers buoquet there. And the good news, yes they have an elevator, so no issue for thise who bring big luggage + Room very clean and tidy. We book for 03 persons, and they prepare room with 04 twin beds (separate 02 rooms). Inside room have bathtub, laundry, kitchen + equipment, and 01 dining table. + I think maybe this is the best hotel we stay at Japan. Very modern, all brand new, many USB port inside the room, wifi connection is strong, really quiet and really convenient for stay + around 05 minutes walking, you will find japanese ramen noodle resto, and also local mini market. - a little bit troublesome for communicate with the hotel staff, because when we want to make sure about Yamato Delivery Service to this hotel, it was so hard to reach to hotel staff throung phone / email. When we asking to the hotel staff about this, they said they not receiving any chat from the trip.com / ******* platform. I dont know where is the issue, maybe because this hotel very new or they are not ready yet for the online communication Please take a notes that you have to pay kyoto city tax. We stay for 02 night, and we pay JPY 1.600 total Overall it was a nice stay, and definitely really recomend this hotel for stay at Kyoto.

El hotel está bien en general y tiene buena relación calidad-precio. La habitación es cómoda, cuenta con instalaciones bastante nuevas y tiene buenas vistas a la estación. Además, en recepción hay café gratis y microondas, lo cual es un detalle positivo. Sin embargo, hubo varios aspectos que no nos gustaron. El proceso de check-in resulta poco práctico: aunque previamente se realiza por una web subiendo el pasaporte, al llegar te hacen hacer una videollamada desde recepción para validar de nuevo la información. La llamada se escucha bastante mal y cuesta entender lo que dicen, por lo que sería mucho mejor combinar audio y texto para facilitar la comunicación. Otro punto negativo es que la recepción está integrada en una tienda y no hay apenas espacio para moverse con maletas, algo incómodo al llegar. Además, tanto la habitación como el ascensor olían a cigarro, lo cual afecta bastante a la experiencia. También hay que tener en cuenta que el check-in es estrictamente a partir de las 15:00 y, al no haber recepción presencial como tal, no existe la posibilidad de dejar las maletas antes. Para un hotel ubicado al lado de la estación, este servicio sería muy importante hoy en día. En resumen, el hotel tiene cosas buenas: ubicación, comodidad, precio, instalaciones nuevas, café gratis y microondas. Pero debería mejorar bastante el sistema de check-in, la comunicación durante la videollamada, la gestión de equipaje antes de la entrada y el olor a tabaco en las zonas comunes y habitaciones.

Decidimos quedarnos en este hotel por su proximidad al centro, y la verdad es que su ubicación resultó ser muy práctica, a solo 5 minutos andando de Karasuma Shijo, en el corazón de Kioto. Además, el hotel está justo al lado de una tienda de conveniencia Lawson, lo cual es muy práctico. Y junto a esta, hay incluso un restaurante de ramen con estrella Michelin, aunque por desgracia, estaba cerrado por reformas durante nuestra estancia y no pudimos probarlo 😿. ¡Tendremos que volver en otra ocasión! Las habitaciones estaban impecables y nuestra estancia fue muy placentera. El sistema de acceso con código en lugar de tarjeta es muy cómodo, así no hay que preocuparse por perderla, algo que me ocurrió en otro hotel y me costó 5000 yenes 😵💫. Y al no haber tarjeta, el proceso de salida (check-out) también es muy sencillo, basta con irse directamente antes de la hora límite. ¡Súper práctico! Dado que el transporte público en los alrededores facilita mucho los desplazamientos, el día de nuestra salida, dejamos el equipaje en recepción y pudimos seguir visitando Kioto durante un tiempo antes de marcharnos. El único 'pero' es que el templo de enfrente toca su campana cada mañana. Sin embargo, si no te gusta dormir hasta las diez como a mí, no te afectará en absoluto 😬.

Como esta es mi primera reseña en Ctrip, creo que debo escribir una reseña completa. Esta fue la pensión con cama doble más económica que encontré en Kioto para una familia de cuatro con dos niños. Las fotos no la muestran como un lugar de lujo, pero las instalaciones eran muy modernas, limpias y ordenadas. Recomiendo encarecidamente al anfitrión que tome fotos nuevas. El agua caliente para la ducha y la cocina eran excelentes. Hay dos paradas de autobús cerca, prácticamente a pocos pasos, lo que facilita mucho ir a Nara y Uji. Además de tiendas de conveniencia, hay un supermercado Life a poca distancia, así que puedes comprar comida para cocinar en la pensión. Hay una cama doble y una litera; hay suficiente espacio debajo de las camas para moverse cómodamente con las maletas abiertas. Los inconvenientes son: no hay lavabo, así que tienes que usar el fregadero de la cocina para lavarte la cara, cepillarte los dientes y lavarte las manos; y las sillas del comedor son un poco incómodas.

We stayed at Rinn Kyoto Station for five nights in a King Room and it turned out to be a really comfortable and great value stay in Kyoto. The hotel is about an eight minute walk from Kyoto Station and proved to be a very convenient base for getting around. There are also bus stops only a few minutes away, along with some great coffee spots nearby, which made mornings easy. The room itself was beautifully designed with a very functional layout. The bed and pillows were both extremely comfortable and after long days of walking around Kyoto, having a bath in the room was a huge bonus for soaking and relaxing. The shower pressure was excellent as well. The hotel has a dedicated amenities section near reception where you can help yourself to items like bath salts, shampoo, conditioner and other essentials, which was a really thoughtful touch. The staff were consistently friendly, welcoming and always greeted us warmly whenever we came and went. One thing to note is that the room servicing is done once every five days during your stay, and if you want additional cleaning there is an extra charge. For us, this was not really an issue. The laundry facilities were also very useful, with two washing machines available in the building which made it easy to keep on top of laundry during the trip. Overall, for the size of the room, the comfort, location and overall experience, we felt it was excellent value for money and would absolutely stay here again on a future visit to Kyoto.

Our recent stay at Ujo Soan was, without exaggeration, the finest hospitality experience I have encountered in my 20 years of traveling across Japan. From the moment we arrived, the level of service was nothing short of superb. There are three highlights that made our stay truly unforgettable: 1. Exceptional Culinary Surprise: We were deeply touched by the hotel's generosity in providing a complimentary upgrade to the prestigious ”Tsuiyama Blue Label Crab” set. The quality of the crab and the meticulous preparation were world-class—a true gastronomic journey. 2. Breathtaking Sunset Views: Spending time at the Lounge ”AO” on the 8th floor of Bettei Fuka was a spiritual experience. Watching the sunset over the Kyotango coastline with a drink in hand is a memory we will cherish forever. 3. Outstanding Service (Sakura-san): A special mention must go to Sakura-san. Her professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail were exemplary. She anticipated our every need and represents the very best of Japanese Omotenashi. I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to Mr. Yasuhiko Okita and the General Manager, Mr. Nakanishi, for maintaining such an incredible standard of excellence. If you are looking for a sanctuary that combines luxury, nature, and heartfelt service, Ujo Soan is the only choice. We cannot wait to return.

We had a truly special experience at Farmhouse NaNa, and it is largely thanks to our host Nobu-san. From the moment we arrived, he made our family feel genuinely welcomed, not like guests at a hotel, but like friends visiting a home. Nobu-san went far above and beyond in every way. He drove us to the nearby Louisiana Mama restaurant for dinner, where we enjoyed a fantastic Italian buffet. The caprese pizza in particular tasted like the ingredients had come straight from a local garden, fresh and memorable. Nobu-san was there to pick us up moments after we texted him after our meal. Due to unforeseen circumstances beyond anyone's control, we were unfortunately unable to stay the night or enjoy breakfast the following morning. Even so, Nobu-san responded with extraordinary kindness, making sure our family was taken care of and he personally drove us way out of his way to where we needed to go. That kind of hospitality cannot be taught. It comes from genuine generosity of character. We left Farmhouse NaNa with warm hearts and real gratitude. The setting is beautiful, the home is full of character, and Nobu-san and his very seeet daughter are the kind of hosts who make you feel that Japan is not just a place to visit but a place where genuine human connection is still very much alive. We are so glad we came!
