Excellent location, warm-hearted owners, clean, great breakfast, highly convenient eateries and grocery store within 100-300m walk. Easily accessible from airport by Bus #16 or 41 (loading bay at Zone 15, outside Terminal 1, direct, 14 bus stops). As the digital board and announcement in the bus is rather confusing, the best is to request the bus driver to inform you to get off at ”Shanvarna Road Est, stop 231”. Try to buy a Standard Leap Card from Terminal 1 Convenient Store for €10 (€5 deposit included), if not available, a Leap Card for single ride can be purchased at €2.60 or simply pay at bus with €2.60 coins. Upon checking in, walk 500m from B&B to Maxol Service Station Swords Road to purchase the Standard Leap Card, your single ride will then cost €2 only with free transfers within 90 minutes. Buses to downtown Dublin (14-17 stops) or other counties nearby are also available from the same bus stop across the road of the B&B. Returning from downtown will drop you off at the bus stop right in front of the B&B. The Comet (a local pub) and Centra Santry Village grocery store are within 100-200m walk from B&B, a pizza/burger take away and a Chinese Takeway are also available across the road. Owners are kind and friendly. Would recommend this B&B to everyone visiting Dublin especially solo traveler depending on public transport and prefers quiet places out of downtown.

Una preciosa casa adosada en Dublín, en el frondoso barrio de Ballsbridge. A solo 2 minutos a pie de Landsdowne Road, donde se encuentra el estadio Aviva y la estación de tren DART. A 5 minutos a pie (ida y vuelta) hay encantadores restaurantes, cafeterías y bares, por lo que la ubicación es ideal. Me alojé aquí porque tenía una cita para el visado en la embajada de Estados Unidos, que también está a solo 5 minutos a pie del hotel. La habitación estaba limpia y era muy espaciosa, con techos altos y grandes ventanales. El salón tenía microondas y nevera, lo cual nos vino muy bien, ya que habíamos traído nuestro propio desayuno. Sin duda, volvería a alojarme aquí. El único inconveniente fue que una de las cortinas del dormitorio parecía haberse salido de la barra y colgaba a medias; no se podía arreglar porque la ventana estaba demasiado alta. Sin embargo, apenas cubría la ventana y bloqueaba la luz de la calle, así que no fue un gran problema. Cabe destacar que la hora de salida es a las 10:00, antes que en otros hoteles, y el personal de limpieza llamó a la puerta a las 9:55, ¡así que fue prácticamente puntual!

I so much loved the lodge, it was so very clean, the location was so easy as it is just few minutes walk from the Dublin city center, the most amazing part is that the airport bus 41 stops right in front ot the Abbott Lodge so using google map is also very easy. The service is top notch and the reception is 247. Room so clean and the bed is big even with extra bed for kids.

Located in the Georgian area of Dublin - you’re away from the hustle and bustle but an easy walk into the centre. Check in was easy as was check out - I’ve nothing but good things to say about all the staff here who were friendly and helpful. The room was small but quiet and clean. Bedding was comfortable. Tea and coffee was available 24/7 in the lobby which was great. Searsons is just down the road for a bevvy or something to eat - as is Bobbys wine bar and other coffee shops and food places. Would definitely stay here again when in Dublin.

Nice comfy and warm room and close to bus stop! Nice village. Very friendly Portuguese guy who was working there cleaning the rooms. He was very helpful, called me a taxi and carried my suitcase out to the road to taxi. I really appreciated this. He needs a pay rise. 🍀😊

Gardiner Lodge is right in the heart of Dublin and has a rustic, authentic feel, though the neighborhood can feel a bit sketchy. Breakfast was good, but you have to choose a time in advance, which can make sightseeing tricky if you’re only in the city for a couple of days. The staff were friendly and helpful upon arrival. Parking is expensive and not very close, but otherwise everything you need is within walking distance or a short bus ride.

Excellent hotel, great service and only 5 minutes walk to Landsdowne station that you can reach city centre within 15 minutes. The room is very nice and you can enjoy free coffee and tea, playing board game in the evening. The honourable system for whiskey bar is bdonus and the complimentary breakfast is very delicious. One thing I have to mention is that no air conditioning for the room but it's not bothering me in Dublin's weather.

It's an excellent guest house that doesn't break your pocket with us travelling with our son. We booked a triple room and we have a car so the place is perfect. Staff (family owned) are really friendly and helpful, location is close to many things including buses. Our heater wasn't working overnight so it was a bit cold for us. It doesn't take away how nice the place is though. Will stay again.

Cleaners came once a day but i found the guests to be dirty. Due to the shower layout the floor of the bathroom was always dirty. Some interesting characters as they don’t require ID or have a front desk. Free wifi and breakfast which is nice. The bed itself is good and has curtains but the room is bright even with lights off and noise travels.
