非常意外訂到這樣的酒店，在英國讀書的兒子説，這在英國就是豪華型了，有獨立的入户門，很大的浴室，夏天的晚上湖區很冷，暖氣很好用，出門就能看到山坡上的羊，走到小鎮也不遠，庭院裏坐坐可以看風景。老闆人很好，有事情回覆很及時。微信給的指導很詳細，非常滿意的入住。

Rum Doodle, well it was our first time at The Lakes and it certainly won't be our last! The location was just right with being part way between Windermere town and Bowness and was walkable to both. There were plenty of shops, bars and restaurants in walking distance as well as lake Windermere itself.
We found Rum Doodle with ease and was greeted at the door with a smile and friendly man (the owner but didn't catch his name). We were bought a fresh glass of apple and orange juice to our room which was refreshing after a long drive to Windermere. Our room was comfy, not too big or too small, a wardrobe, seating in the bay window, hairdryer, hot drink making facilities, wine glasses with cork screw and bottle opener. Very modern, clean and well presented bathroom with soft and fluffy towels, and a really nice shower. The bed was very comfortable and welcomed after a busy day exploring the surrounding area.
Breakfast was really good with cereal, fresh fruit and yogurt, toast, and then a choice of breakfast which were great too.
We had a pleasant and informative chat at breakfast with the lady that works there who gave us the heads up on some driving routes to try and avoid which was really useful.
After a day out exploring we went back to Rum Doodle to a cleaned room and freshly made bed with the tea and coffee replenished, so we were able to just drop and the bed with a nice cuppa and biscuit. Then out for a walk, some lovely food and a couple of drinks.
We couldn't recommend The Lakes and Rum Doodle enough! Well worth every penny

We had a wonderful time at Lane Head Farm Country Guest House. We stayed in a beautiful room with a four-poster bed. The views are stunning and the service was excellent.

Traditional friendly guest house. Nice , clean bedroom with en suite shower room. 5 mins walk to Windermere centre, easy access to Bowness. Owners were friendly and welcoming with good knowledge of local attractions. We would stay again if in the area.

Rrockylee1, el hotel está muy bien situado, y el camino a la marina también está en 10 minutos, hay muchos restaurantes cercanos y la comida es muy conveniente. La habitación es grande y hay una sala de estar, sorprendente, pero la sala está en la cama, junto a la calle, algunas calles de mañana y noche, especialmente la velocidad del automóvil británico, son más rápidas y hay que prestar atención. El desayuno es un leche de yogur de pan preparado con antelación, algunos en el frigorífico, otros en el almacén, no se espera demasiado.
2, si vienes por ti, necesitas un carné de estacionamiento con la recepción, 3 libras al día, estacionamiento ilimitado, hay varios lugares para estacionar, en realidad es conveniente. Cuando te vas, puedes ir al estacionamiento primero, y cuando vuelvas, puedes colocar el carné y el carné de estacionamiento en la recepción.

MmarissahuoA pie puede llegar a la estación de tren y al centro de la ciudad, el cuarto es muy limpio, el desayuno se enviará a la habitación según el tiempo acordado. Hay varias opciones para los huevos, mis huevos de uva y el cebada caliente, muy adecuado para la comida china. También hay autobuses directos a Windermere y Keswich.

SSimon & Kathleen ArmstrongWe thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Stafford Guest House. The property is beautiful, set within peaceful surroundings and complemented by a lovely garden.
We stayed in the four-poster bedroom, which was spacious, tastefully decorated, and perfectly balanced comfort with a touch of luxury. It also offered delightful views overlooking the garden.
Our hosts were exceptionally welcoming and friendly, providing engaging conversation as well as helpful local recommendations. Everything was clearly explained upon arrival, making the entire experience smooth and effortless from the very beginning.
Breakfast was both delicious and generous in portion. Additionally, there is a charming village pub just a short walk away — The Boot & Shoe Inn — which added to the experience.
We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

UUsuario invitadoThe hotel I was originally booked in had a flood so at the last minute I had to find another one, I found Arkale lodge and it didn’t disappoint, the rooms are pretty basic, but extremely clean which in my book is more important than a fancy room. And certainly good enough for the price I paid, the gentleman that showed me around was friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was from 7 which was perfect for my continuation of my Hadrians wall walk.
The Breakfast was included in the room price and was exceptional (full English, which I easily adapted as a non meat eater)
It was plentiful, delicious and freshly made. And a great start to my long tiring day

UUsuario invitadoEl hotel se encuentra enfrente de un parque de coches grande que tenía cotización eléctrica a tarifas bastante razonables. El hotel es victoriano y conserva todas sus hermosas características con mi habitación todavía con el antiguo fuego de carbón claramente decorativo, pero un toque gris.
Las habitaciones estaban limpias y el baño era moderno y el agua está vaporizada que más quieres!
La dama era muy amable, muy comprometida y muy útil.
El desayuno era muy sabroso, tenía la opción vegetariana que recomiendo.
Recomiendo muy bien este hotel, aunque sea por un solo día o mucho más, sería adecuado para todo lo que se queda allí.

UUsuario anónimoGreat hotel with a decent location in the middle of the Lake District. You can walk/ cycle to Ambleside which is 5 miles away. Low fells are easy to hike for great views of the area around.
The hotel is more like a private house with rooms. We got a small suite with bedroom, bathroom and living room. We could just about see the lake from the living room.
The bathroom only has a bath and no shower head which was a difficulty for washing hair. Except for that it was very well organised.
Breakfast was at a nearby pub - The Good Sport. It was a limited selection on the menu: full English, breakfast rolls, toast or porridge. You also got a 10% for dinner in the pub too.
