Our stay at The Lodge was nice. There were a few little things that I questioned, but that honestly is normal & did not really effect our stay. Everything in the lodge was clean & I do not know what wonderful smell they are pumping through the building... but walking into the lobby was wonderful! The decor was nicely decked out in holiday cheer! The Christmas Trees were beautiful too. We booked a King Suite, as the pic on Trip.com showed a jacuzzi tub in the suite. This is not the case. In fact, The staff at the front desk said they have not had jacuzzi tubs in the rooms for over 8 years. That was a disappointment... And King suites do not have a balcony, but Queen suites do have a balcony with sliding doors! They front desk did not offer to help with that misunderstanding, as offering a ”Fireplace room” (they said the jacuzzi rooms now had fireplaces after the removal of said tubs??... but no fireplace in my suite) or offering anything else... probably because I booked thru a third party(trip.com). It was definitely a spacious room, but a little overly ”roomy” with just a king bed, 2 nightstands,the entertainment/dresser, completely with a fridge in the cabinet, a very small ”dining table”, a glass coffee table & a pull out couch. The thermostat was set at a scorching 75 degrees, which I immediately turned down. At first, I figured it was just a fluke, but the power did go out one evening & sure enough, when the power was restored the thermostat reset to 75 again! We dined at the bar on a few occasions, which was nice & staffed ok, not the latest hours for a bar. The food is good & of course a little pricey. I'm sure there is a lot more to do during the nicer seasons... the answer for everything it seemed was ”it is the off season”. Overall, it was a nice place to stay in wine country & probably will return next year.

Viajando por una muerte en la familia, a nuestra llegada, que fue un poco más allá del check 3:00PM en nosotros se nos informó que estaban cortos en el mantenimiento de la casa y no estaba disponible una habitación y si estaba bien con una habitación con discapacidad, No tenía problemas porque estoy deficiente. No hay biggie, fuimos a cenar. El problema era que no recibimos una llamada telefónica hasta después de 6PM, 3 horas después de que podíamos inspeccionar y nuestra habitación era una habitación estándar, claramente no para ayudar a las personas con discapacidad. Si hubiese sido un servicio de vistas esa noche, sería un problema importante porque tuvimos que poner nuestros bienes en otro cuarto de familiares. Cuando finalmente llegamos a nuestra habitación, había como 2 piezas de papel higiénico en el rodillo sin rodillos adicionales disponibles. La última noche, me despertó un alarma que me despertó de otra habitación antes de que yo tenía mi propio alarma. No estaba a punto de ir y tratar de localizar este misterioso alarma y de cerrarlo, pero el alarma se extendió bien durante 15 a 20 minutos. El personal que estaba en la vista fue muy amable y útil para su mejor capacidad, considerando su falta de personas para hacer los trabajos necesarios y me encantó que estaba aparcando para los veteranos. Si viajaba con mi esposa y mis hijos, optaría por un hotel diferente, pero ver cómo era este el lugar donde mi familia decidió que todos nosotros ibamos para que podamos estar juntos en nuestro tiempo de tristeza, es lo que es. No voy a mirar a esta cadena de hoteles para planes de viaje futuros.

I had a very disappointing and uncomfortable experience with the front desk staff. I arrived at the hotel Sunday 01 march around 12:30 PM and politely asked if early check-in was possible. The two women working at the reception told me that no rooms were available until 4:00 PM. I said that was fine and that I would wait in the lobby. However, while I was waiting, several other guests arrived and they were checked in immediately. It was very clear that rooms were available, which made the situation feel unfair. Later, I approached the desk again with the same guests who were checking in and said that I had a reservation for today. The receptionist acted as if nothing had happened and looked visibly annoyed. During check-in, she tried to charge my card again for the reservation, even though my booking had already been fully paid online. When I saw the amount and asked what it was for, she could not clearly explain it. I had to tell her again that the reservation was already paid. Both receptionists then started checking the system and appeared irritated and nervous in front of other guests. Eventually they explained that there was a security deposit of $50 per day, which I completely understood and agreed with. However, they attempted to charge the wrong amount again, and I had to question it once more before they finally corrected the charge to the proper deposit amount. Overall, the situation was extremely uncomfortable and unprofessional. First I was told to wait until 4 PM while other guests were checked in, and then I had to deal with confusion about charges that should have been clear from the beginning. The hotel facilities are good, but the front desk service was very disappointing and needs improvement.

La habitación es grande y amplia, las instalaciones son muy completas, microondas, jaulas, lavavajillas, cafeteras deben estar completas. Las mesa también están completas, incluso con bombillas de aceite, se puede hacer algo para comer por sí mismos cuando se quedan cortos.

Not bad of a hotel, wish I utilized the indoor pool though haha but the room was comfortable & clean. The breakfast is alright though nothing extravagant just very basic but at least it was free

Room key did not work at front lobby, and no one at the front at 700am. Luckily, could enter from back door.

This hotel is aging, but the location is amazing! We traveled to Cleveland for my son's birthday trip to a Cavs game. Upon arrival, the valet was extremely congested. No one came out to welcome us or anything so I thought all the valet were out parking cars. Instead, three of them were inside, laughing and talking. There was no mention of cost anywhere, so I was very surprised at the $50/day charge upon checkout. Considering it took them an hour to bring my car back to me upon check out, I would say that charge is VERY exaggerated. When we went to check in, I was surprised that they needed a credit card to hold $200 on. I prepaid and expected they would need a card on file, not to hold funds. Anyway, our first room seemed nice. It had an amazing view of Rocket Arena. But, I decided to rest a minute and when I looked at the ceiling, it was falling apart!! This was something I decided to give a pass on, considering the age of the building. However, when I got up to shower and there was a huge clump of long brown hair on the wall, that was too much for me. I went to the front desk and they were very nice about the issue and quickly moved us to another room. The rooms are basic. There is an armoire with an iron, two bottles of water, a coffee maker and coffee and a mini fridge. The televisions in the rooms are very large, that was nice. Check out was easy, just a lobby full of people all waiting for their cars to show up! The only other thing I can say is that I paid for a supreme room through Trip and was only given a standard room. So, there must be a miscommunication between Trip and the hotels. Be wary...

La ubicación era primo justo a la parte de Interstate 71, era muy fácil de encontrar. La limpieza era buena. Creo que era un gran centro de conferencias en un momento, que ha visto mejores días. La habitación era buena, excepto para la unidad A/C muy alta. No había secador de pelo en el baño. El baño continuó a veces a correr, que me fijé manualmente. La TV era una de las más fáciles de usar para mí. El desayuno continental publicitado consistió en cereales secos para los niños, leche y yogur en la nevera, café débil, jugo de manzana, frutas frescas y harina de ovejas para mezclarse. Necesito más agua caliente para usar. También necesitaba una cafetería de café descafeinado. La habitación era muy buena. La cama era cómoda, y me encantaban las muñecas, estaban justo. Creo que todos los tapices en el lugar necesitaban limpieza de vapor, no huelen, pero estaban muy oscuros. Una vez más, este lugar necesita una gran infusión de efectivo y algunos personal necesitan volver a la escuela de gestión de hospitalidad.

We had positive experience in my past stays at LaQuinta. However, the recent stay at Hilliard, OH was quite different. Key issues were moldy shower curtain and housekeeping. Specifically: 1 Failure to reinstall replacement shower curtain until the night shift manager, “Mohamed” personally came to our room to install it around 11 PM. 2 We put “Do not Disturb” sign on the outside door handle. It was intended to having housekeeper coming back at later time after we left the room at 11AM with the sign removed. However, no housekeeping was done. The explanation we got was “Whenever housekeeper saw the “Do not Disturb” sign, they just assumed no housekeeping was needed. Most of the hotels I stayed in, the housekeeping would be automatically done later after the sign was removed, or at least a curtesy call /message will be left on room phone. Two of the four nights we stayed, housekeeping work only included bed made. No vacuum, garbage can not emptied, used cups not replaced, sink and counter not cleaned. Suggestion: Replace current sign which has “Do Not Disturb” on both sides to “Do not Disturb” on one side and “Please Clean Room” on the other side. This would make it clear to housekeepers to perform their normal services. We checked in on Thursday evening. On Friday morning, we found that the left side of the heavy window curtain was stuck. We reported it to the front desk and were promised that it would be taken care of. Nothing was ever done. We were only able to have partial daylight and only saw half of the outside scene during our entire stay.

The hotel was centrally located to all the attractions we wanted to visit. Although the parking was not right on the property it was in a covered parking lot within a short walk to the hotel and the cost was included in our stay ! The front lobby looked rather new and was clean and shiny. Front desk staff was welcoming, friendly and helpful. Hotel room was very clean and accommodating for 2 of us and came with the amenities you would generally expect. We had a king bed and it was comfortable, although the pillows were rather soft and despite both of us having 2 pillows each we could have used 1 or 2 more to be more comfortable. The included breakfast buffet was well done with a good variety of choices for us as we eat a carnivore diet. The coffee was a good as you would get at Starbucks. I don't know her name but the staff member who kept the buffet full was definitely one of the hardest working individuals I have seen. She was friendly, accommodating and exceptional and the hotel should award her appropriately. The only negative to our stay was that on the 2nd day of being there we returned later in the day after sightseeing and our room had not been serviced by housekeeping. I called the front desk and the staff person who had checked us in informed me that they had forgotten to tell us that housekeeping is only every other day. Staff member did provide us with additional towels however it would have been nice to have the bed turned down and used towels taken away.
