Overall it was a good stay experience! To my surprise, the hotel room looks good, and the view is damn nice! The location is super good, every Monday night market is just in front of hotel. Only thing is if hotel can provide some sitting area for elderly and kids will be better, cos the check in time is 3pm, if arrive earlier, there is no sitting area for them to have a rest, and a lot of ppl there.

I recently stayed at St. Giles Southkey, Johor, and had a fantastic experience. The hotel is located in Mid Valley Southkey, making it incredibly convenient for shopping, dining, and entertainment. The direct connection to the mall was a huge plus! Rooms & Comfort: The room was spacious, modern, and well-maintained. The bed was comfortable, and the overall cleanliness was impressive. The large windows offered a great city view, adding to the pleasant ambiance. Amenities & Facilities: The infinity pool on the rooftop was a highlight – perfect for relaxing with a great view of Johor Bahru. The gym was well-equipped, and the breakfast buffet had a good variety of local and international dishes. Service: The staff were friendly, professional, and attentive. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and any requests were handled promptly. Location: Being attached to Mid Valley Southkey Mall means plenty of dining and shopping options just steps away. It’s also a short drive to the JB checkpoint, making it a great choice for visitors from Singapore. Overall: A comfortable and convenient stay! The hotel is located a 10 minutes walking distance from JB Central. It is connected to alot of eateries like Hua Mui which is recommended by the staffs there. The staffs are friendly and polite. Overall, the room was big and we enjoyed our stay there. There even a mama shop outside the hotel with money changer opposite the road. During our stay there is also a pasar malam there as well. No sure is it due to the fasting period.

This is our first time staying in this hotel. The journey to and from CIQ was less than 10mins. Super convenient. KSL mall is literally behind the hotel. Reception service for check in and out was smooth and efficient. All officers are smiley and friendly. Sahur was amazing and surprised with the spread they offered. Love all the food serve and my kids love it too except for the funny taste of the milk for the cereal? (I didn't taste it tho) Room: Love the view with fireworks vibes and space. However, there is a musky smell awhile after we on the aircon. Lucky I have my perfume in handy. Towels has a funny weird smell as well but since it is a night stay only. We used it anyway. Some parts of the sink is dirty but not too noticeable. (Hopefully the carpet will be removed). Did not even get to see the pool due to the short period. Will be back again with my kids.

Though it was a bit difficult to reach on foot right after crossing the border, everything else was perfect! Clean, spacious and friendly staff made me want to come back here next time :)

Booked the place for a little R and R retreat with friends (added a cot bed). Have always been curious about the hotel looking at it across the causeway. I think it's a great place to stay if one doesn't mind the clubs at night being a little noisy, have to try and get higher floors and you will barely notice the sound. Got the room facing the sea and it's nice, not the greatest view in the world but pleasant enough. Staff friendliness and service level like in most other reviews are indeed there. There are some nice eating spots near the hotel as well (walking distance).

The hotel needs a renovation and update with the interior. The room (Premier King) is very spacious but the space is not properly utilized. TV is very small. Wall scones are almost falling and sanitary wares are old. WiFi inside the room is okay. The aircon and mini bar fridge are old but still working very well. There were hairs in the bathroom when I checked in. For breakfast, the pancake (Jan 29th) and Apam Balik (Jan 30th) are very very delicious as well as the dimsum. The water melon however tastes like onion (Jan 30), I suspected it was the knife they use to cut the watermelon. The hotel has so much potential if renovated. I just noticed they are not observing safety as they are using the ledge in the corridors to make a temporary rack for towels and rugs while the housekeeping staffs are cleaning the rooms. These might fall on the atrium which might harm someone below.

If you’re looking for a cozy hotel near Legoland and XPark, this could be the perfect choice for you! It's brand new and clean, plus there are a few restaurants just a short stroll away. Just a heads-up, it's not right in the JB central area, so you’ll need to hop in the car if you’re craving some late-night snacks. Enjoy your stay!

Our 1st time checked in at R&F@Anju. The apt so clean and outside the 36th floor the view so beautiful amd amazing. Had a great time staying there for a short vacation. Will come again.

Stayed at Grand Paragon Hotel yesterday and booked three rooms. Got connecting rooms on a high floor. The rooms were comfortable and clean, perfect for families as the beds are wide enough for kids. However, the lighting was quite dim, and a night lamp at the corner would help brighten the space. Our rooms also have bathtub which is a plus point. One downside was that they only allow one extra towel per room, and extra water comes with a charge, which was surprising and a tad calculative. We had sahur instead of breakfast, and the food spread was satisfying. It was a pleasant stay, but these small improvements could enhance the guest experience!

Hotel is within the nice resort area. Food options within the hotel is limited. Service staff at the pool bar was good. Cleanliness in room is not up to standard. Stains on the floor that cannot be cleaned off, wardrobe is dusty and oil stain on the mirror in toilet. If you have kids, is fine as the resort is linked to the waterpark or else go to Westin across the road FYI, Hotel charged us MYR30 for breaking a cup. I think it is part and parcel of operations for these to break and we are fine to pay but MYR30 for a non branded coffee cup is robbery.

We had a fantastic stay at The Westin Desaru! The hotel’s impeccable service made our experience truly enjoyable from start to finish. We spent our time cycling around the area, taking in the beautiful coastal views, and later cooled off with a relaxing swim in the pool. The hotel also had great recreational options—we had fun playing ping pong and unwinding after. Breakfast was a highlight, offering a delicious spread with plenty of variety. Overall, a wonderful getaway with excellent amenities and top-notch hospitality. Would definitely return!

The place was well maintained and cleaned. The food was good. The facilities inside were great for family. Just that it was too overly crowded. The check in process took almost 2 hours. We felt like we were at the government agency counter while waiting for the number to be called. It was not a good experience considering the amount of money we paid to book here. Everywhere inside also was super crowded. The waterpark was so full of people it felt anxious to be there. Too bad we could not get the access to the beach probably because of the monsoon season. Overall, we preferred Lotus Seaview rather than here.

What a gem of a hotel! From the efficient check-in/check-out process, each moment was delightful. Also, the hotel has a very secure and safe environment Security personnel is also helpful and friendly. The room were clean and very comfortable, with many hand, face towels and bathrobe. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Desaru! Check in and out was efficient check-in/check-out process of the hotel. Their customer service is also commendable and offered us an excellent experience. We loved everything about this hotel, from room types, customer service, and facilities to the serene pool area. I will recommend others for sure! Breakfast, comes with many choices and fresh prata/eggs cooked on the spot. Many eateries within arm's reach. Will come back!

Inicialmente tuvimos problemas con el aire acondicionado en nuestra habitación, y mientras el personal nos ayudó a movernos a otra habitación, encontramos un nuevo problema con un aire acondicionado que se derrumba durante la noche. El hotel está muy bien, pero no se puede cambiar de habitación, así que acabamos de tolerar el sonido de la agua que se derrama toda la noche. En general, la experiencia no respondió a nuestras expectativas teniendo en cuenta el precio

It’s very welcoming from beginning till the end.. the sunset view from window itself is stunning, the breakfast’s awesome.. will come again when we have time . 👍🏼

Reasonable price, good location near the beach, all rooms are facing the seaview & friendly staff, breakfast spread is quite good for the price. The facility is quite rundown, lack of maintenance - plants & landscape need to upkeep, turf with litters, aircon is very noise because air filter is choked with dust. Other nearby areas of interest are closed, Ostrich farm & Adventures park. If hotel wants to keep customers coming, they really have to take it seriously to upkeep the whole facility.

i came to pengerang w my family members n found out the place was really vacant. therefore, only us using the pool on that day which is very privacy for us. price are really affordable. the place was clean n tidy. there s also a gym w such equipments. breakfast was packed and send out to our room which is very convenient to us. added breakfast for rm15 per pax. staffs are friendly and helpful. definitely will come over again !

The hotel's location was able to exploring the sea breeze and near places of attraction The facilities such as spa, restaurant and parking was great, but check-in was delayed for 3 hours. Overall, it was an enjoyable and comfortable stay in the Amerald Resort Hotel Desaru.

Staff at the front desk just okay. We booking for king bed but I believe it was just a queen size bedroom since we request for ground level as im pregnant. No lift provided. The interior was not very nice. The basic appliances were provided but the fridge is not functioning(not so cool) and not much space to set our foods and baby bottles etc.,. The worst was the smell from the sink (smells comes from the sewage) and need to open the exhaust fan all day long. Even i put soap the smell wont come off the smells comes from the drainage. It was bad i almost thrown up when opening the toilet door. I would not recommend staying here during monsoon seasons because we were not able to walk along the beach (the tide was high). The only thing i love were the environment of this resort (its so relaxing outside of the room) and the breakfast was superb. For dinner we went outside and eat at warung tepi futsal and the food were bad. The price almost the same as JB (quite pricey) even though JB still can get lower price.the staff at the pool counter was not friendly. His nails were so long and dirty . Not even smile at us. And answer our question smirkingly because we forgot our towel card.

Al lado del hotel está el medini mall, que tiene KFC, Burger King, Starbucks, Shizhimi y otros lugares para comer, así como un GRAN supermercado (similar al Hema en China). No hay cambio de moneda en el hotel. Solo hay un cajero automático del banco CIMB cerca del supermercado GRANDE. Este cajero automático no cobra tarifas. Si trae una tarjeta de ahorro UnionPay nacional que no cobra tarifas de retiro de efectivo transfronterizo (como Ningbo, Nongshang), puede retirar efectivo sin tarifas. Hoy en día, ningún banco en Shanghai puede cambiar ringgit, así que traje un banco de Ningbo. La prueba personal está bien. La habitación del hotel es bastante grande y hay un suministro de agua mineral. Puede pedirla en recepción después de que termine de beberla. Hay una caja fuerte en la habitación. Sigue las instrucciones para desbloquear el código y podrás conseguir Lego. El desayuno estaba bien y no estaba demasiado lleno. Hay ladrillos de Lego para construir en el vestíbulo. The common facilities show little to no maintenance, which is disappointing. However, the breakfast is good. The room had a noticeable smell, likely from being unoccupied for a long time. On the positive side, all air conditioners were operational and maintained at a comfortable cooling temperature.

Great location with a clean and comfortable room. The staff were very polite and provided excellent service. There are several dining options nearby, including Western and Japanese restaurants, as well as a convenience store (myNEWS). Some attractions are also within walking distance. While the hotel is not in the city center, it’s a great place to relax and enjoy a peaceful getaway. Highly recommended!

Bahru I recently stayed at the Ramada Meridin Johor Bahru and had a wonderful experience. The hotel offers a pleasant environment that is both welcoming and relaxing. Love the room and the environment! It was quiet and cozy, as it was located outside the town area, yet just a 10-minute drive to Bukit Indah or Eco Botanic Shopping Galleria. The deluxe studio room also came with a balcony where you could enjoy views of green scenery and the Legoland landscape. You could also walk to the Mall of Medini, which is just a 5-minute walk from Legoland Malaysia!

It was an awesome stay!!! We kept playing with the slide and had a movie marathon, movies after movies. Oh the pool is huge! And not crowded. 5 stars given to the place!I love how the surroundings are mostly expats and away from the crowd and noise. There's alot of eateries around too. But only one thing, the towels are not that clean. There's traces of dirt spots. But we had planty of towels so it's ok. Theres a nearby shopping centre which is not that great. It is big but the shops are not great at all. But there's family mart! Our favourite! Most importantly, we would come again to just chill, be a couch potato and play indoors and the facilities provided.

What you see is what you get. The studio room was clean and spacious with many amenities such as dryer, microwave and so on. The bed was super comfortable and had great sleep throughout the nights. Water pressure was good with heater. The common corridor was so windy even at 11th floor. Pool is Olympic size and kids friendly. There was a sauna but didn't have opportunity to use it due to lack of time. Checking in process was simple but with minor hiccup as initially I couldn't figure out where Tower C was as I saw only tower A and B. My bad. For anyone who get Tower C, I would suggest to park your vehicle at LG floor for easy access. Tower A & B could proceed with G floor parking. Great place and would recommend to anyone who wish to put night(s) there 👍
