The most comfortable bed I’ve ever had in a hotel. We had some of the best sleep during our stay. The bed was huge and incredibly comfortable, with plenty of pillows and soft, high-quality linens. The room itself was spacious, quiet, and very well soundproofed, with lots of space to store luggage and personal items, plus many useful amenities. The entire hotel has a modern, clean design and is kept in excellent condition. The staff were very kind, professional, and spoke English, which made everything easy. They even provided umbrellas free of charge when it rained, which was a thoughtful touch. The hotel bar also deserves a mention. The service was excellent, the drinks were very good, and the parfaits were delicious. Since parfaits are very popular locally in Sapporo, I definitely recommend trying one here. The location is convenient too: just a short walk from Susukino and the Sapporo city center, close to the station by a few metro stops, and easy to reach by taxi. Overall, this Marriott was a real gem. Because of such a pleasant experience here, I’ll definitely consider staying at other Marriott Courtyard hotels in the future.

After spending six days in MGallery Hotel Sapporo, I can safely say this is not an ordinary hotel. Reception at 5 pm was professional, efficient and friendly. I didn’t have to wait. Well done. Takako and Cindy provided a warm, informative and professional service. The concierge was helpful and welcoming. Very useful in a freezing outdoor climate - thank you Alex.  My room was as requested, 524. I booked a king room and it met my expectations. The design is lovely.  The bathroom is not huge, but is well appointed with a bath and a separate shower. The room is very quiet and I had a very pleasant sleeping experience.  The hotel and my room are in excellent condition, with a high standard of decor and presentation. Clearly recently renovated. The design is first class. It combines a beautiful Japanese style, with classical and traditional designs. The result is very pleasant - Chic! WiFi worked well. The room airconditioning was a little too hot for me, so I turned it off, and that was fine for me. The two guest’s lifts are fast and worked well over the six floors.  House keeping is also of a high standard as you would expect from a high end Accor hotel. This is especially so in Japan where service is an art form.  I had access to the executive lounge.  It was a good experience. It provides a comfortable and cosy atmosphere, and the food quality is nice. The chefs are friendly and caring, thank you James. The lounge staff are first class. Thank you very much to Yokiku, Kaumini and chief Minoru for your attentive and excellent service. I appreciated your kind service.  The only negative I am sorry to say is the occasional noisy foreigners who don’t appreciate the quiet, polite, refined and subtle Japanese culture.  The location is convenient, and is about 15 minutes easy walk from the main Shinkansen station. Being in a built up area there aren’t any views of parks etc, but rather the city landscape. The hotel is 5-10 minutes walk to a variety of wonderful shopping areas.  Additionally, there are major shopping malls in the Shinkansen station area. Nearby, you can find many restaurants that should suit most people’s cuisine, budget and type of food.  Taxies are available at the hotel entrance. Buses and subway stations are nearby and provide access to various parts of the city. There are several attractions within 30-60 minutes of the hotel such as temples, museums and regional attractions. Ms Takako provided excellent suggestions.  To be fair, I read the Hotel’s web reviews. I noticed that the negative comments were from years ago, before the hotel became an Accor hotel two years ago. I noticed most of the more recent reviews are positive.  A special thank you to all the other warm staff for their excellent and polite hospitality. Having experienced hotels in every continent, this one stands out. The service and attention to detail is in a class of its own. Clearly, this is a special Hotel - undoubtedly, due to the hotel’s leadership.   Finally, a heartfelt thank you to the General Manager, Mr Ted Kitahara, and his management team. Mr Ted introduced himself to me by chance. He made me feel very welcome, and was most kind to enlighten me about the hotel’s design and its interesting history. I hope to meet the Japanese architect one day! Overall, an extremely pleasant and first-class experience. I look forward to visiting again.  Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Al principio, disfrutamos de una maravillosa estancia de una noche, que se convirtió en dos debido a un cambio de itinerario. El hotel es privado y tranquilo. Perfecto para relajarse con la esteticista del hotel y con acceso directo a los baños. Aunque no hay pesas, el equipo del gimnasio es nuevo y está bien mantenido, con suficiente para ejercitar la mayoría de los grupos musculares. Las habitaciones son muy limpias y lujosas. El desayuno era abundante. Me alojaría de nuevo si necesito alojarme cerca del aeropuerto de Chitose una o dos noches.

Exceptional Private Onsen & Hokkaido Flavors. Overall Impression: A perfect blend of convenience and cozy. Despite the bustling atmosphere and classic, dark decor, the private onsen and dining experience make this a standout choice in the area. Hightlights: The room: Spacious with beautiful wooden floors and a private outdoor onsen. Soaking in the heat while snow falls is pure magic. Features like the ”His&Her” sinks and an in-room massage chair make our stay more comfortable. All complimentary in the room adds a thoughful touch. Dining: The buffet offers and impressive variety of local dishes alongside beautifully plated mains. Even when busy, the staff sustematically managed the seating, ensuring we enjoyed the stunning winter views comfortably. The Hokkaido cheese pizza and dessert are absolute must-tries. Location and Service: Perfectly situated in the heart of the sightseeing district, with famous sweet shop right nearby. The complimentary valet parking and polight, perfessional staff made our stay seamless. Observations: Atmosphere: The common areas can feel a bit crowded due to its popularity. Design: The room interiors are a bit outdated and lean toward very dark tones, and notably, Netflix is not available on the in-room TV. Note: Windows are fixed; ventilation is managed via the onsen balcony door. Verdict: Highly recommended for foodies and onsen lovers who want to be the center of the action.

Mejor en el resort de clase para diseño y hardware. Excepcional contacto personal por los gestores y el equipo de alto nivel. Terribles opciones de cena en el lugar. Amar los restaurantes italianos, chinos y japoneses. Esquí en esquí. Bellas piscinas interiores y jacuzzis. Equipado gimnasio. El hotel tiene una gran variedad de habitaciones, y el personal de la habitación tiene una gran variedad de habitaciones.

Everything is awesome in this hotel. Starting from arrival, we felt very welcomed. We have a twin room with private onsen, the furnishings, toiletries and room facilities are all in great condition. The dinner is like fine dining in buffet style, complete with free flow of alcohols without additional cost. The lounge makes a fantastic spot for after dinner conversation. I must say the hotel is generous with the hotel guests. Lastly the hotel is located right within the nature zone. Highly recommend to stay in this hotel if you are calling by Shiretoko.

Great basement hot spring, and of course roof top hotspring with lake akan view was amazing. Food was good, and futon was comfy!

The basics of all city hotels - location, location, location..... !!! And Hotel Stream is smacked in the heart of everything Sapporo has to offer unless you prefer a quieter and calmer spot then this hotel is NOT for you. Rooms are pretty standard in terms of size and amenities, it's, quiet, and great for city strolling. If your intention is to use this hotel as your base to do day trips to Furano & Biei, The Hill of the Buddha Moai, or the renowned Otaru (which unfortunately isn't that muchl unless you're a die hard music box & glass making fan) this is your BEST CHOICE until Hyatt House opens in Oct 2026 (a bird told me - for those Globalist out there) . Oh... a BIG tip by the way (if you've been reading till this point: request for a room with a direct view of the Sapporo's ferries wheel (not that I am a fan lol) or the view of the Nikka advertisement on my attached photo - they are worth it. It's amazing to sleep with such stunning view and wake up to one..... (check out my photos taken from my room) In case you wonder if that pic of me by the glass overlooking thr Nikka ad sign - that's the main breakfast restaurant where you will be having your daily breakfast but u have to get there early to book that seat, otherwise sit through breakfast till they close and then u get to take this photo for as long as you please...... Ok ok ok... i know I'm a little long winded. But hey... oh yeah... u need to know that you can take a limousine bus from CTS (Chitose International Airport) to Susukino which takes about 50mins on way for JPY1500 per person. Easy weasy and the from the bus stop in susukino where most will disembark - it's only a 5min walk to Hotel Stream which ISN'T that obvious as the hotel sign is NOT exactly on the building. You have to look out for a building that reads ”Coco-something” (ops forgotten the name of the building) and the hotel lobby is located on the 7th floor of that building which also house a shopping center, movie theater and numerous restaurants. If you're srill reading this - give me a like already and don't be stingy with that click will ya? Lol. Up next - I'll bee reviewing my hotel in Noboribetsu, Lake Toya, Hakodate and eventually Waldorf Astoria Osaka. Watch out for my space k. Se trata de un hotel de cadena relativamente clásico, con un estilo europeo y un interior espléndido. Cuenta con todas las comodidades que cabría esperar, así que no entraré en detalles. Las principales deficiencias son: 1. Servicio. El encargado de recepción del hotel era un extranjero bastante distante, rubio y de ojos azules. El personal japonés, en cambio, fue muy amable. 2. Las aguas termales. Está bastante lejos del edificio principal y abre parte de la mañana y parte de la tarde, cerrando solo a las 9:30. La prohibición de tatuajes es prácticamente absurda. Esa noche, un grupo de taiwaneses alborotadores, incluyendo uno con un tatuaje, estaba armando un alboroto en las aguas termales. 3. Está bastante lejos del pueblo termal principal y del muelle del lago Toya. Se encuentra en la cima de una colina cercana, a 10 minutos en coche. Esperábamos ver los fuegos artificiales del lago Toya desde nuestra habitación, pero era una vista lejana. 4. Las opciones gastronómicas del hotel son limitadas. Hay dos restaurantes japoneses y una pizzería. El bar suele cerrar a las 23:00 o 23:30. En general, es un buen lugar para una escapada de unos días, con opciones para jugar al golf y disfrutar de aguas termales, todo en la montaña. No es adecuado para una excursión al lago Toya con registro, principalmente por su incomodidad.
