The stay at the service apartments were disappointing and below expectations. My friends and I did not have a good sleep because of the prayer chanting that starts everyday 430-5am, it is very loud and everyone was awoken by it. On top of that, there was a dead cockroach in the corner of the room. Even after house keeping the cockroach was still there. We had to call the lobby to come clean up. One of our friends’ room also had a smell in the apartment, the door was not working very well and the fridge and aircon was also not cold. We requested for a change of room on the last day however the new room was worst, there was a loud buzzing sound coming from the toilet light where left on. Overall, I was quite disappointed with the stays at the service apartments. But the service provided by the staff were okay and acceptable at the least. The location is also not too bad and accessible to most places. I would rate overall 3.5/5.

The check in was fast, with 10min you will get into your room. Managed to try out their breakfast set for 3 days. Everyday will have a slight change in menu. Room is clean and cold. Location wise is very centralise to all the mall and 10 min away from harbour bay. Will come back and visit again

Fue una gran experiencia celebrar mi cumpleaños con ellos. Durante mucho tiempo, nunca me sentí sola en este tipo de días, fui recibida con gente genuina y sincera a mi alrededor que se esforzó mucho por hacerme feliz. Desde el intercambio de correos electrónicos con la Sra. Paskah para asegurarse de que me acomodarían desde que me recogieron hasta que tomaron nota de mis solicitudes. A la Sra. Jessica, Asep y el Sr. Agung que decoraron mi habitación como una sorpresa para mi cumpleaños (fue muy lindo). A Ledy que me ayudó desde el check in hasta el check out y que me ayudó a recibir un masaje balinés de Wanda. A Bram y Sonia que fueron tan buenos, me hicieron sentir especial en mi día, tan amables y muy hospitalarios. He estado viajando la mayor parte del tiempo, y esta es la primera vez que me sentí en paz y genuinamente feliz. Me di cuenta de que la vida vale la pena vivirla y que el mundo es hermoso. Muchas gracias a todos. Ese fue un día para recordar. Tocaron mi corazón y me hicieron creer que la gentileza y la sinceridad aún existen.

the service by the staffs is good. the staffs are friendly. my experiences is marred by someone smoking in the hotel floor and room. I have smell that someone smoke at the level such that the smoking smell is very strong in the corridor even though there are sign to says no smoking and you have to acknowledge that you will be fined for smoking in the hotel. Can even smell the someone smoking while in the room and believe the smell comes in via the vent in the bathroom. Due to the long weekend, hence the hotel is fully booked and the staffs struggle to replenish the food for breakfast. but i dont deny the fact that the location is amazing.

Sí, el hotel es un poco viejo y la ropa de cama puede tener una pequeña mancha, pero me sorprendió gratamente que su cama individual sea en realidad una cama tamaño queen y una cama individual. Sus habitaciones también están amuebladas principalmente con muebles de madera. Otra cosa que me gusta mucho es el aire acondicionado, es muy fuerte y hace mucho frío. Nos envolvimos en la manta como un burrito. Quizás una pequeña cosa a tener en cuenta es que, aunque hay carteles de ”prohibido fumar” en los ascensores, todavía hay viajeros que fuman abiertamente allí. Pero aparte de eso, creo que el hotel está bien en general. También es bastante seguro, porque debes escanear la tarjeta de la habitación antes de seleccionar el nivel al que deseas ir. También hay Macdonalds cerca, sólo hay que cruzar la calle.

Con bebidas de bienvenida una vez que se inspecciona en el hotel (que no bebí como estaba ocupado check-in pero parece delicioso 🤤). La habitación es muy agradable, pero no es muy agradable. Pero la experiencia es buena. Me encanta el lugar y el personal son amigables. Me encanta también el sol y el sol. Especialmente en el restaurante del bar de la isla.

The hotel is just opposite of a shopping mall and next to the ferry terminal. Will come back to stay again.

The bed was comfortable, but the room itself was quite small, with an open closet arrangement that might not be to everyone’s liking. However, the air conditioning was a major downside. It was not cold enough, and even after requesting a technician (who took 30 minutes to arrive), the issue was not resolved. Our first night was uncomfortably warm, making it difficult to sleep. Thankfully, it rained on the second day, which helped cool down the room naturally. I stayed in Room 803, which had convenient access to the pool and buffet breakfast. However, if you prefer a cold room and love using a duvet, I’d recommend avoiding this room. Another unpleasant experience was during check-out—I noticed a foul smell, similar to a sump pit, near the elevator and on the first floor. It was quite off-putting as I was leaving the hotel. Overall, Oakwood Hotel Batam has some great aspects, but the air conditioning issue and the unpleasant smell during check-out left a negative impression. If these issues are addressed, it could be a much better stay.

Everything is just right, the price, location,spacious room and bfast is amazing (except lontong sayur. .lontong is good..but the soup..too salty n too much water...pls fix it ^^ ( should be curious when the qty is still a lot whilst the other menus r kept being refills ), cleanliness 👍however the access card is killing..ONLY ONE, we travelled as family.. so when one of us was out of room at night or breakfast whatever..one of us has to standby.. couldn't sleep at time, and rush our time in bathroom or toilet to open the door for our fam member. Not efficient at all.. eventhough I was willing to put deposit for additional card, the front desk rejected bcos of d house rule.

Nuestros niños (6 y 8) amaban las instalaciones, incluyendo el club infantil (completamente, aunque opcionalmente, con una tarifa) y piscinas (tanto de nuestra villa como del bar de la playa tiigo). La ubicación del hotel es muy buena, pero no perfecta, pero el servicio y las instalaciones de la habitación son muy agradables. El hotel está muy bien situado en el centro de la ciudad, y el hotel está muy bien situado en el centro de la ciudad. ¡Nos gustaría tener más días para probar todas las actividades familiares y al aire libre, y recomendaríamos y volveríamos!

Very old, slightly run down vibes in this hotel. Mixed feelings, because it's situated quite central in Batam and clearly one of the cheaper options available. The gym is pretty good, many different machines and clean. Pool out of maintenance for a long time now and quiet small anyway. The AC is very loud but works well. Room spacious but carpet etc are old and don't give off a very clean vibe. Most areas of the hotel are pretty dim lit, adding to the old vibes.

We are family of 4 (2 adult & 2 kids age 11 & 12). We requested for connection room, but we were so surprised that the hotel only have 2 connection room which is at level non-smoking room and level smoking room. We stayed 4D3N and we have to separate the kids sleep with us each other's. Firstly, they sent us to level 5, the window facing building opposite the hotel look like empty and running down, so scary so i asked them to change for us, lucky they still have available room for us at level 3 facing the road. The food was ok ok for me and family. every day different kinds of food. but not much western choices. The room was spaces and have kind of smell, maybe the carpet smell. but ok still acceptable. The service was good. asking for extra pillow, rubbish plastic, clean the room change the bed sheet etc. The location walking distant to Nagoya Hill Mall. Took grab to BCC mall, Mega Mall all nearby. Grab/gojek is so fast and Easy in Batam. It a good experience for us. after all we did have fun in Batam.

Had a wonderful time at Holiday Inn Bintan. The hotel grounds are beautiful and staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Food was generally great although a little inconsistent at times. Can easily visit sister hotel, Hotel Indigo, next door for more dining options. Spa was relaxing and massage was good. Premises are new and clean. Less than 10 mins away from the ferry terminal with complimentary pick up / drop off service. This will be my go-to hotel next time I'm in Bintan.

Perfect quiet side of Bintan, luxury and spacious villa room - Upper Garden. Free pickup at ferry terminal. All front desk requests made via WhatsApp or room phone. Super fast response!! Facilities were practical like bicycles per villa, gym, spa, kids playhouse, water sports and 3 dining restaurants for selection. Bed was medium firm, clean bathtub, good water pressure for standing rain shower, attached hairdryer was all great! Buggy service to get around by dialing 0. Custom text bed decor and turn down service available for free. Recommend for couples! Good breakfast with live stations - egg station, waffle pancake station, noodles station, bubur station (congee). Free activities like towel art, Farm animals feeding - rabbit and chicken. Pool was clean, no leaves/sand. Baby wading pool available too. Pool bar menu was good with live band nights. Indonesian cuisine at Rica Rica is highly recommended. Can skip Rimbun Grill, our chicken was overdone. Superb getaway for 2 nights!!! Singaporean approved!

Had a lot of fin at Amon Resorts. Staff were very friendly and accomodating and the food was amazing. Amenities and activities were all super fun and conveniently accessible. Will definitely come back again.

The property has lots of potential and service staff have wonderful attitude. it just opened in Oct, so not everything is fully up just yet. It was generally a nice stay but several small disappointments added up and we conclude we would stay elsewhere if we returned to Bintan (although probably not soon). - we were fortunate to get the room early at check-in (~1230pm) cos the room was ready. - F&B team had the most hiccups. we had late lunch on the first day - the restaurant was not busy but they could not cope with orders. we waited over 40mins and other tables that came later were served before us. food was not even piping hot when it arrived, which is weird—was it sitting around and just not served?? - subsequent days’ breakfast at the same and only restaurant also always had something up. e.g. long waits, forgotten orders, and when we asked about items, two of them would turn up. that said, all the staff were super nice, and we’re grateful — albeit still disappointed. - the room was very pretty but there’s an impractical design flaw on the hanging lamp on the bedside. it rattles every now and then due to the AC. i ignored it fine but it drove my husband mad 😅 he had to cushion it with a hand towel. - the in-room phone was also strange. we had to try many times to dial ‘0’ for guest services — there’s no other number to call. it sometimes sounded like it was ringing/connecting but nothing was happening. - housekeeping didn’t clean our room the whole time we were out on day 2. only came when we were back resting at 5+pm. - indigo doesn’t allow sharing of facilities with sister hotel, which frankly is a missed opportunity these days. i’ve lost count of the number of resorts who do it and market it as a plus point. it almost seems weird that they don’t when it’s virtually connected to IHG. - hadn’t realise this but they don’t brand themselves as a family hotel so there’s no kids club. don’t pick this place if u need a place to entertain your kids. i was surprised that a beach resort didn’t have a kids club 😆 - the hotel wanted to impose a surcharge on my 5yo who was sharing the same room same bed and not (in my opinion) consuming significantly more resources than another guest who may have been just a couple without a kid. we’ve been to many other properties that brag a “kids stay free” concept unless u ask for an extra pullaway bed. anyways, while the charge is relatively common, when asked about what the charge goes toward, the explanation i was offered was weak. and after the stay, all the more i didn’t feel there was much to justify this so called additional charge.

¡Tuvimos una estadía genial en Cassia! 1) El personal es muy amable, siempre dispuesto a saludar a las personas con una sonrisa, charlas informales, se esforzó al máximo para brindar un servicio de primera. Un agradecimiento especial a Yance (lo conocimos en el club de playa Xana), que fue muy amable y estuvo dispuesto a hacer todo lo posible para garantizar que la pasáramos muy bien ☺️ y al instructor de Zumba, que era un derroche de energía 😂 2) La comida estaba deliciosa, Lotus Cafe, U Beach Club, Vista, Treetops, probé la comida de todos los lugares mencionados y ¡fue increíble! Deliciosa, limpia y superó mis expectativas. 3) Actividades divertidas: bádminton, voleibol de playa, fútbol, ​​tenis de mesa, aqua Zumba, fiesta en la piscina con espuma, etc. ¡La piscina infinita también fue genial! Estaba súper limpia y el agua no estaba fría. 4) La habitación estaba limpia, brindan agua potable todos los días, torre de playa con una bolsa (¡lo cual es genial!). Overall a pretty decent stay. We super love the service and friendliness of the staff. Very accommodating to all of our requests and many last minute changes. The room is quite clean and the aircon is super strong. Very convenient to have the pool outside, good privacy while you take a dip/play in the water. They have Netflix, Disney+, etc but you need to sign in to your account. Downside is we are disconnected to the signal/no internet for the TV. Ended up using our phones to watch shows.

3D2N stay to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Complimentary shuttle bus to hotel & ferry terminal. Excellent services from all Natra Bintan hotel's staff, they were so warm & welcoming! Our room was decorated & a slice of cake was provided. Breakfast spread was gd & delicious, room was clean, staffs always make up room daily so if you do not want to make up room better put the ”Do not disturb” sign on door handle. Cannot hear neighbours, but you do hear aeroplane flying noise in the middle of night, birds chipping at 6am plus so if you are a light sleeper then you might find it hard to get a gd sleep. Hotel provides buggy services to bring us to room, different parts of Treasure Bay. 20% off activities at Treasure Bay for being Natra guests. Only 3 restaurants which are at Natra, Anmon & Treasure Bay activity centre. Had western lunch at Anmon hotel once but food was average, Natra's food was much better. Will definitely consider Natra for our next Bintin trip due to the excellent staffs!

We enjoyed the trip. Stay at the hotel was comfortable but there was very little consideration for elderly & disabled guests. To supplement that, all the staff were friendly, helpful and very polite. Few things that could be better although they are good: 1. All white towels that were provided should be brilliant white in colour for confidence to use it safely. 2. At breakfast, bread could be fresher than dried out. Pulut Hitam buboh could be served warm. Otherwise there was a good spread of food. 3. Outside at the entrance to the road, a short ramp would be helpful for elderly & disabled guests. Food was tasty & presented well. Thanks Vijaya

1. good encironments and the facilities are not new but acceptable. 2. The most pity stuffs are Monopoly by the owner even the excuse is away from reasonable (private resorts) - no access to public taxi service say grab. Again the reason we told is the Nirwana resort is private one - due to the monopoly, there is limited restaurants for options: the one for breakfast (level 1). The one above the one for buffet (level 2) and Kelong restuarant facing the sea - the outstanding outcome from the monopoly is the pretty higher price for foods...I expect to have lunch at Kelong restaurant and in the end back after checking out the price in menu. Actually during the lunch time, there is no people having dinner except 1 or 2 guest to check out the good view facing the sea...pity !!! The postiive goes to some entertainment or activotoes in the hotel say swimming in outdoort pool. Sands and Bowling etc..... My proposal for their management is to open the service to guests in their hotel so there is more options even I will never come back to the hotel in Bintan...I has been to Batam before and the experience is better....
