I stay here once a year as it is not far from the NEC in Birmingham. The location of the hotel is perfect as so close to the motorway but feels like you are in countryside as so quiet and relaxing. It could probably do with a little TLC as the some of the furniture in my room was looking a little tired but still very clean. The staff are lovely and helpful with good service. I have been to this hotel many times over the years and only used the swimming pool once which is the only downside to this place. I would not use again as not the relaxing hotel experience I anticipated as was very busy. Priority appears to be given to the paying public over hotel residents and the changing room was disgusting with used towels piled high on the floor. Staff were stood around having a laugh with their mates and had to interrupt to ask where to get towels then had to ask another member of the public how to open the lockers. I would continue to use this hotel but wouldn’t risk the swimming pool again.

Después de no poder salir de Birmingham, decidimos detenernos de nuevo en Clayton y darle otra noche de los problemas del sistema que tenían. Estaba mucho mejor concedido y los pisos son muy seguros con el piso cerrado a sus tarjetas clave para acceder. El desayuno estabamos abajo y se pagó. El desayuno estaba mejor esta vez. Sólo un pequeño problema era el baño podría hacer con un poco más de atención a detalle con pocos pedazos de pequeño molde negro en el más difícil para llegar a las áreas y residuo rojo en el grouting en las azulejos.

The front desk helped me pay on card for early check-in when I only had cash! The room was comfortable enough, but I didn’t realize until after the first night that the room did not have aircon. One odd thing, the body wash was setup next to the sink instead of in the shower haha. Otherwise, it was a lovely stay!

Good location close to M42, free parking onsite, easy access to reception check in was straightforward lifts to all floors and the room was perfect clean and warm. self service for buffet breakfast good variety for every taste. would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

I recently stayed at your hotel and unfortunately left feeling quite disappointed with several aspects of my stay. Upon arrival, I noticed what appeared to be blood stains on the curtains, hair left on the towel/flannel in the bathroom, and marks on the table surfaces. I have attached photographs for reference, as I feel these are basic housekeeping standards that should have been checked prior to a guest arriving. I also experienced multiple issues with food and service during my stay. I ordered a charcuterie board, however the Parma ham and other cured meats appeared dried out, discoloured and no longer fresh. Unfortunately, after eating it, I also felt unwell afterwards, which was particularly concerning. Later, when ordering dinner, I asked for a croque monsieur but the staff member repeatedly did not understand the order, despite me explaining it was a toasted ham and cheese sandwich. I was eventually advised to order a panini instead. Additionally, I ordered truffle fries but was informed they were unavailable. I agreed to normal fries, however what arrived were heavily seasoned thick-cut chips which were completely different from what I expected and unfortunately not enjoyable. Another issue was the iron provided in the room, which had black residue/staining on it and ended up marking my top, which was very frustrating. As I had booked the stay primarily to relax and enjoy a quiet evening in the room with room service, it was disappointing that the overall experience did not feel comfortable or enjoyable. What disappointed me further was that upon check-out, nobody asked how my stay was or whether everything had been satisfactory, despite the multiple issues experienced throughout my visit. I wanted to bring this to your attention as I do not usually complain, however I felt the overall standard of cleanliness, food quality and service fell below expectations. Kind regards, Karolina

Buen precio para hoteles con piscina y sauna en Birmingham, tamaño razonable de la habitación, desayuno sencillo; pero el precio de la habitación cambió constantemente hasta que aterrizó la página de pago.

La habitación está muy bien, la habitación está un poco bien fechada y el AC no estaba trabajando, así que tuvo una noche cálida.

Muy bien situado – a 5 –6 minutos a pie de la estación de tren, y Chinatown está justo fuera del hotel, por lo que es muy conveniente para comida y llegar alrededor. La habitación era muy espaciosa, que fue agradable desde que me quedé aquí con mi compañero para un viaje de Día de San Valentín. Esto dijo que las instalaciones se sienten un poco obsoletas y la presión y temperatura del agua en el baño no estaban muy estables.
