Un hotel adorable en York, reservaba otra noche porque nos encantaba y queríamos relajarnos. Es sólo un paseo a pocos pasos del centro de la ciudad principal, no fue un problema ni siquiera en la lluvia. Muy limpio y elegante decoración, amante de la cama 4-poster y el calentador de toalla. También ofrece baños, pantalones de baño e incluso una sala de snacks complimentaria. Podemos ir a recoger algunos chips en medio de la noche si queremos. No comíamos, pero teníamos algunos cocktails en el bar abajo y café por la mañana.

Really nice place , brilliant value, clean rooms with nice bathroom products all the staff really pleasant helga on reception was lovely and the spa was a bonus with free towels and padlocks at the spa reception paid a lot more for a lot less great parking for £6 def use them again rooms are really well appointed , safe, iron hairdryer good amount of teas coffees and milk only minus is it could use a fridge

Lovely stay with my friend in a twin room. I think the room reflected the price we paid, although spacious it was a little jaded. Super clean bathroom & bedding, comfy beds & enough storage. The room was dark, net curtains were torn & the papered ceiling begining to peel. Room was at back of hotel overlooking rooftops. The rest of the the hotel was spick and span with a lovely dining room and a great breakfast. Loved the position of the hotel, very central & the olde world feel of it. All staff very pleasent and helpful.

Great location and has parking that is a bonus. Room was well appointed. Only gripe is no water in the room and cleanliness not the greatest. Has a skylight above the bed that was full of cobwebs Apart from that team very bubbly and would stay again

The hotel was much better than the reviews would suggest. It is clean and simple and the interior is very nice. Check-out is at 10am which is super early and there is no place to store luggage - so if you go for the day with the intention of having a look around Scarborough either before arrivals or after this is not an option. Staff member on arrival was very kind but quite rude on exit.

Hotel is situated right opposite Clifton tower and is conveniently located within. The city centre - walking distance to the Shambles and other attractions. The parking situation is problematic - although aware it is first come first served, there is nowhere available to park up and ask except the three spaces in front of the hotel and if taken, you end up circling the road for an absolutely age before a space becomes available. If no parking on site end up parking over the road on public car park which is inconvenient as keep having to work out when to renew. The cleanliness is a slight issue, we thought there was dust on surfaces but more likely to be cloth fibres from the cleaners but still don't expect shedding like this. Room was fine but did think bathroom was on the smaller side for a double deluxe room. Service in general was good - couldn't really fault.

El hotel es muy bonito, en una ubicación excelente, a 5 minutos a pie de la ciudad. Dentro del hotel es increíble y muy grande. Elegir una habitación de vistas al jardín que era un poco pequeña pero la vista era increíble, todo el camino al menor. El desayuno puede ser un poco ocupado ya que la zona es pequeña, pero fue agradable. El spa era hermoso, pero de nuevo pequeño y puede ocuparse. En general, un hermoso hotel en una ubicación ideal.

Sadly had three rooms due to some issues reguardless how clean they were and a smell coming from the bathroom, third room was ok and had a nice view over looking the sea and Scarborough harbour, pool and spa a nice touch and the staff were all friendly plenty of choice on the menu for food, just needs to address a few issues to make this worthy of it's 4 star rating and that to me should be considered luxury where as this felt more just above average but not luxury 3.5 / 5 location amazing staff amazing let down by the fire alarm going off which steam was to blame air vents were dirty this needs looking at, house keeping need to work more alongside maintenance to ensure issues are addressed. Safe in second room was broken but maintenance did sort this and were very friendly, reception and spa staff all excellent, can't comment on the food but had plenty of choice and had we not made plans we would of considered the curry night the hotel had on. Over all 3.5 / 5
