We arrived early cuz we wanted to do laundry. However unless you go to a laundromat the hotels don’t have machines-they send it out. We dropped ours off later afternoon and they had our clothes returned by the next day. It wasn’t cheap.. we always pack lightly with a carry on to do laundry but it wasn’t as convenient when we had rented a Airbnb for a few nights since electricity is so blooming expensive you have to air dry everything and you need at least 2 days! The room & bathroom were large compared to many of the inns we stayed at.. the breakfast buffet had the standard Scottish offerings…you could ask for fried eggs but not omelets (I didn’t ask but couldn’t see ingredients) If you have a car-drive to the Ferrytoll park and ride. Free parking and take the bus into Edinburgh. There’s usually parking spots on the lower level. It’s easy and about $12/2 people round trip (I think). Just pay by card and tell driver you want round trip.

Stayed here for a week, whilst visiting family. Our room was very clean, and the bathroom was a great size. The bed was massive! And extremely comfortable - so much so - we didn't want to get up! Lol Breakfast was good - although a choice of egg would have been nice, instead of scrambled each morning. The only other thing that needed improving was the awful coffee from the machine. I had a latte machiato twice - the first was just frothy milk and little coffee - the 2nd was awful - literally ended up with a mouthful of bitter coffee grains. 🤑 However, the price of the hotel, together with the comfortable room, friendly staff and quiet location means we will DEFINITELY return.

Dormí muy bien en el Holiday Inn Express Dunfermline. Aparcamiento gratuito. A 10 minutos en coche del centro de la ciudad. El desayuno del hotel es bueno. Recomendado.

The hotel and service were excellent but dinner on the first night was a complete disappointment. The batter on the fish and chips was a very pale colour, the Thai green curry didn’t resemble the dish and the pastry on the steak pie was an empty bubble. The fourth meal was acceptable. My husband left the table and told the duty manager that the meals we had were substandard. The manager said he’d contact the general manager and get back to him. I sent an email to the hotel stating the same. I have not had a reply. Best Western sent a survey which I completed. Nobody has contacted us. Needless to say we hired a taxi to go to a restaurant on the second night.

Good and delicious full breakfast. Wonderful service, the hotel staffs are nice and helpful. We have hired a car Skoda which we are not quite familiar with. We ask the hotel officer for help to tune the rear mirror. Even they are also have no idea of this car, they try the best to find out the way. Thank you for their kind help and great effort 👍👍👍

We cannot believe and are astonished at these negative reviews. Just here for evening over- night and morning for small break and can fault nothing-kind and helpful staff who were interested in us as people , extremely reasonable overnight charges, lovely food in bistro, spotlessly clean bedroom and shower, no extra charge for leisure facilities, (unusual) - my friend enjoyed good sized swimming pool while I enjoyed the putting in an unusual victoriantopiary!! We are literally struggling to find anything to complain abt. Well, bedrooms get too warm and a window that opens would overcome that. The grass on the putting greens was a bit too long. The world is not absolutely perfect. We wll be back! Sorry you have experienced such negative feedback

Un hotel muy bajo en el tono, no es muy bueno encontrarlo. Tenga cuidado con el barrio escocés 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 en la puerta de la tienda, y las escaleras tienen una señal con el nombre del hotel, olvide qué cara es específica y puede prestar atención. Del tren, puedes tomar el autobús local a la estación de automóviles de San Ano o más cerca de la estación de Grannie Clarks Wynd, el hotel está al otro lado de la carretera. El tráfico es ruido y la carretera está atenta a la seguridad. El personal de servicio del hotel es muy entusiasta! ¡Hay una sensación de regreso! El hotel está muy limpio y soporta el examen sanitario más riguroso! Muy satisfecho con esto! Las fotos no muestran todo el hotel ...... el paisaje es excelente, especialmente la zona de desayuno. La ubicación es también buena, muy cerca de la playa y las principales calles, como las calles de mercado, etc. Se recomienda.

Muy buen hotel con mucha infraestructura, spa y piscina de primera. Los resto, regulares pero lo más penoso es la atención. Supongo por la pandemia, pero el personal de servicio está en otra cosa. Falta formación o que pongan interés en su tarea. Para los que fuimos a jugar, extraordinario.
