We stayed at Pyhalinna and overall found the apartment itself to be decent. The facilities inside the unit were quite complete and convenient. However, the cleanliness was disappointing — the bed sheets were not clean when we arrived. The funny (and slightly frustrating) part was that after we reported it, someone came to do a light cleaning of the room (even though we were previously told mid-stay cleaning required an extra fee), but the sheets still weren’t changed. The property is ski-in/ski-out and located next to the “family slope,” but there are many areas that really need improvement. First of all, for beginners without a car, it takes around 30 minutes to walk down to the base area to rent equipment(experienced can use the shop on the mountain), and the path is quite unsafe. Honestly, this alone almost made me give a one-star review. Secondly, the so-called family slope wasn’t fully open, and the upper section was surprisingly steep — definitely not what we expected for a family-friendly run. Returning the rental equipment was also inconvenient; you must ski all the way to the bottom because the shop on the mountain doesn’t accept returns. After returning our equipment, we were very lucky that the ski patrol officer Markus kindly offered to take us back up the hotel. We really appreciated his help — without him, it would have been another long and difficult walk. There are simply many practical issues that should be improved. I truly hope the resort can learn from more established ski destinations to create a safer and more beginner-friendly experience. The positive interactions with the staff were the main reason we didn’t give this place a one-star rating — they truly made a difference despite the other issues. El servicio aquí es bastante bueno, el personal de la recepción le dará algunos consejos útiles si los solicita, la habitación es realmente increíble y tiene una hermosa vista desde el balcón. El desayuno también es bueno. El servicio es muy bueno, la habitación tiene balcón, baño y sauna. El paisaje es muy bueno y hay varios restaurantes cerca donde poder comer. El desayuno también es bueno.

The staff was really amazing, very friendly. I wasn’t very impressed by the room. The heating was not fully working, there were no basic amenities like a kettle, or even drinking water. Biggest concern was cleanliness as I asked for cleaning on one occasion and beds were poorly made, sheets weren’t changed, the toilet wasn’t properly cleaned as there a piece of paper on the floor which was clearly visible, tissues weren’t restocked and also one of the over covers from the bed was removed and just chucked over the ironing board which was absolutely horrifying to see. Food at the hotel was good and restaurant staff were also very helpful.

It was a wonderful 3 nights stay in the lovely town of Rovaniemi. The hotel is located in the city center, which makes dining and shopping and getting around anywhere super convenient. The train station is also a short 5 minutes drive away. My room was clean, cosy, spacious and tastefully designed. Love the Finnish sauna; we went everyday! Also the breakfast spread was super lovely; love the crayfish salad. The hotel also uses Iittala and Marimekko tableware in the breakfast buffet as well as in the room. I love the Iittala cup they used in the room so much that I bought 2 for my house! Totally recommend this hotel if you visit Rovaniemi!

The location of this hotel is superb! For the strategic location of this hotel by the river I would say YES to this hotel anytime. But feedback to the hotel to improve are: - House Keeping need to buck up a bit, I geddit it is peak period in Dec and it is tough to clean the room but still.. - Considering the room I stayed is newly renovated, the toilet is just too small- especially the sink!! Smaller than the one in the airplane. - Reception services are nice and friendly but just too slow.. I geddit that it is peak,, all the more they need to speed up

Visitamos para nuestra luna de miel. El personal, Viljami, nos ha acogido con agrado y nos ha ofrecido fruta y otros servicios. Aunque la ubicación está muy lejos del centro de la ciudad, no fue incómodo porque me tomaron un Uber cuando viajé de todos modos. No es una instalación de primera línea, pero es un lugar rentable en Rovaniemi, donde el alojamiento es caro. No obstante, el desayuno no respondió a las expectativas.

El hotel está a 40 minutos del escenario de esquí de Levi, y se dice que hay gente nueva aquí cada semana. Hay árboles rodeados entre cada una de las cajas de separación, la privacidad es buena. La caja en el techo de la madera de noche puede ver el cielo estrellado. La luz brillante allí cuando la suerte es buena. La mañana se levanta y se levanta y se desciende y el panorama de la nieve fuera de la esquina es un gran sueño. El personal anterior respondió positivamente al correo, y el chef también fue bueno para cenar de Navidad. Hay una oportunidad para elegir aquí.

La decoración del hotel es muy bonita, con pinturas y murales por todas partes. El cartel del guardaequipaje es un poco intimidante, ya que indica que hay que bajar al sótano, ¡pero en realidad hay ascensor! Sin embargo, el hotel solo limpia la habitación si la estancia es superior a dos días, y si se desean cambiar las toallas, hay que ir a recepción a pedirlas y recogerlas de la habitación, lo cual resulta un poco incómodo. El desayuno buffet ofrece una gran variedad de opciones. Hay una estación de autobuses de larga distancia cerca del hotel, por lo que ir y venir es muy cómodo. El hotel está situado en una pequeña colina, y la primera noche ya pudimos ver la aurora boreal desde la terraza de nuestra habitación.

La primera vez que estuve en este hotel me sentí muy bien. Está muy cerca de la estación de autobuses de Santa Claus Village y del aeropuerto (frente a la entrada del hotel). El hotel tiene una sala de almacenamiento de equipaje dedicada, que es conveniente para salir de la tienda con anticipación. ¡Recomendado!
