We stayed at Pyhalinna and overall found the apartment itself to be decent. The facilities inside the unit were quite complete and convenient. However, the cleanliness was disappointing — the bed sheets were not clean when we arrived. The funny (and slightly frustrating) part was that after we reported it, someone came to do a light cleaning of the room (even though we were previously told mid-stay cleaning required an extra fee), but the sheets still weren’t changed. The property is ski-in/ski-out and located next to the “family slope,” but there are many areas that really need improvement. First of all, for beginners without a car, it takes around 30 minutes to walk down to the base area to rent equipment(experienced can use the shop on the mountain), and the path is quite unsafe. Honestly, this alone almost made me give a one-star review. Secondly, the so-called family slope wasn’t fully open, and the upper section was surprisingly steep — definitely not what we expected for a family-friendly run. Returning the rental equipment was also inconvenient; you must ski all the way to the bottom because the shop on the mountain doesn’t accept returns. After returning our equipment, we were very lucky that the ski patrol officer Markus kindly offered to take us back up the hotel. We really appreciated his help — without him, it would have been another long and difficult walk. There are simply many practical issues that should be improved. I truly hope the resort can learn from more established ski destinations to create a safer and more beginner-friendly experience. The positive interactions with the staff were the main reason we didn’t give this place a one-star rating — they truly made a difference despite the other issues. Este es un hotel tranquilo y con sauna en el cuarto. No es un cuarto con cocina, pero es bueno porque hay secador de cocina y cosas así.

The staff was really amazing, very friendly. I wasn’t very impressed by the room. The heating was not fully working, there were no basic amenities like a kettle, or even drinking water. Biggest concern was cleanliness as I asked for cleaning on one occasion and beds were poorly made, sheets weren’t changed, the toilet wasn’t properly cleaned as there a piece of paper on the floor which was clearly visible, tissues weren’t restocked and also one of the over covers from the bed was removed and just chucked over the ironing board which was absolutely horrifying to see. Food at the hotel was good and restaurant staff were also very helpful.

It was a wonderful 3 nights stay in the lovely town of Rovaniemi. The hotel is located in the city center, which makes dining and shopping and getting around anywhere super convenient. The train station is also a short 5 minutes drive away. My room was clean, cosy, spacious and tastefully designed. Love the Finnish sauna; we went everyday! Also the breakfast spread was super lovely; love the crayfish salad. The hotel also uses Iittala and Marimekko tableware in the breakfast buffet as well as in the room. I love the Iittala cup they used in the room so much that I bought 2 for my house! Totally recommend this hotel if you visit Rovaniemi!

Me alojé en noviembre de 2024. La habitación era estándar con dos camas individuales. La habitación estaba limpia y equipada con un sofá individual, escritorio, nevera, perchero, etc. El baño y la ducha tenían mamparas para evitar fugas de agua, lo cual fue una gran ventaja. Había toallas de todos los tamaños disponibles. El desayuno también estaba delicioso y tenía una gran variedad de opciones. También hay una sauna y una piscina en el sótano, que es bastante grande y la parte más profunda tiene unos 2 metros. Está a unos 30 minutos a pie de la estación de Rovaniemi, pero hay una parada de autobús justo enfrente del hotel, así que también se puede ir en autobús. También se puede tomar este autobús al Pueblo de Papá Noel. Se puede ver el Puente de la Vela del Leñador desde el hotel, y es fácilmente accesible dentro de la ciudad de Rovaniemi, así que la ubicación era excelente.

Aunque la ubicación está muy lejos del centro de la ciudad, no fue incómodo porque me tomaron un Uber cuando viajé de todos modos. No es una instalación de primera línea, pero es un lugar rentable en Rovaniemi, donde el alojamiento es caro. No obstante, el desayuno no respondió a las expectativas.

El hotel está a 40 minutos del escenario de esquí de Levi, y se dice que hay gente nueva aquí cada semana. Hay árboles rodeados entre cada una de las cajas de separación, la privacidad es buena. La caja en el techo de la madera de noche puede ver el cielo estrellado. La luz brillante allí cuando la suerte es buena. La mañana se levanta y se levanta y se desciende y el panorama de la nieve fuera de la esquina es un gran sueño. El personal anterior respondió positivamente al correo, y el chef también fue bueno para cenar de Navidad. Hay una oportunidad para elegir aquí.

Soy tan feliz porque nuestra habitación es muy limpia.Especialmente, hay un baño en nuestra habitación, nos encontramos tan feliz:) ¡Nos gustaría reservar de nuevo si volvemos! Pero esperamos que podamos ver Netflix o YouTube en la televisión. ¡Esperamos que sea!

La primera vez que estuve en este hotel me sentí muy bien. Está muy cerca de la estación de autobuses de Santa Claus Village y del aeropuerto (frente a la entrada del hotel). El hotel tiene una sala de almacenamiento de equipaje dedicada, que es conveniente para salir de la tienda con anticipación. ¡Recomendado!
