I recently stayed at this brand-new hotel (opened in 2024), and it was such a nice experience. If you want a place with lots of extras, this is it. They have two pool tables, a small rooftop pool, and two gyms—one for yoga and Pilates with all the equipment, and another with treadmills, bikes, free weights, and even a Smith machine. There’s also a laundry room with washers, which was really handy. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices, but you’ll want to arrive early to get the best selection. The staff were all very friendly, but Fei Xiu (绯袖) on WeChat was especially helpful—she answered all my questions quickly and made everything easy. The location isn’t right on the riverbank near the Starlight Market, but it’s not far from tourist spots either. It’s actually in a good spot if you want a quieter stay while still being close enough to everything. If you’re looking for a modern, well-equipped hotel with great service, I’d definitely recommend this one!

Este hotel, con sus edificios rojos y exuberante vegetación, me hizo sentir como si estuviera en el sudeste asiático. Tiene un diseño muy logrado y el servicio es excelente. Por la noche hay una fuente y durante el día es una piscina; la fuente musical es realmente hermosa. This was my second stay at a Banyan Tree property, and once again, it turned out to be a truly memorable and pleasant experience. Frank, our personal concierge, was exceptionally responsive and attentive throughout our stay. He was always quick to assist with our requests and even replied to messages after regular working hours. There was a minor housekeeping incident during our stay, but Frank handled the service recovery professionally and resolved the matter promptly. The thoughtful gesture of providing gifts and a cake was greatly appreciated, and my child absolutely loved the surprise. From start to finish, we felt genuinely well taken care of. Frank’s service was highly commendable, and he is definitely a valuable asset to the Banyan Tree Group. Our dinner experience at Baiyun was also superb. The ambience was wonderful, and the food was excellent. We also enjoyed the complimentary photoshoot session, which became one of the most memorable highlights of our trip. Our photographer was incredibly professional and patient, guiding us throughout the session and capturing many beautiful photos. In the end, I decided to purchase a photo package because the photos turned out so well and were truly worth it. The staff there were also warm, friendly, efficient, and highly responsive. There are, however, a few areas that could be improved: 1. The menu and operating schedule for Mingyue were somewhat confusing. We had planned to have dinner there one evening, only to realize that Chinese cuisine was not served on certain days and during certain hours, which required us to make alternative arrangements. 2. The soundproofing in the room could be improved, as we were able to hear our neighboring guests quite clearly even when they were speaking at normal volume. 3. The water temperature in the shower was inconsistent. Although we adjusted it to a comfortable level, the temperature would occasionally drop suddenly and become very cold. 4. Staff could perhaps be slightly more observant and proactive. On our first day, it was raining when we arrived at the room via buggy. There was no sheltered area where we alighted, so we had to stand briefly in the rain while moving our luggage. 5. The fruit platter in the room could be fresher. The apples and oranges did not seem as fresh compared to what we experienced at other hotels in Dali and Kunming. 6. Breakfast options could be expanded further. I was also hoping to find more fresh and exotic detox juices, especially ones prepared on the spot. (Similar to Bintan Banyan Tree) Despite these minor issues, our overall stay was still excellent. The scenery and views within the resort were absolutely stunning, and we especially enjoyed being able to feed the ducks and fishes. It created a very relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere for the family. Mingyue 的菜单及营业安排稍微有些混乱。我们原本计划某晚在那里用餐，后来才发现中餐只在特定日期和时段供应，导致我们需要临时另作安排。 2. 房间的隔音效果可以再加强一些，因为即使隔壁房客只是正常音量交谈，我们也能听得相当清楚。 3. 淋浴的水温不太稳定。虽然我们已经调到舒适温度，但水温偶尔还是会突然下降，变得非常冷。 4. 员工或许可以更主动及细心一些。我们第一天抵达房间时正好下雨，而下车的位置并没有遮雨处，因此我们在搬运行李时需要短暂淋雨。 5. 房内水果盘的新鲜度可以再提升。苹果和橙子的状态，相较于我们之前在大理及昆明入住的其他酒店，感觉没有那么新鲜。 6. 早餐选择方面可以再更加丰富一些。我也特别期待能有更多现做的新鲜排毒果汁或特色果汁。（类似Banyan Tree Bintan的安排） 尽管存在这些小问题，但整体入住体验依然非常优秀。度假村内的景色和环境真的非常漂亮，我们尤其喜欢可以喂鸭子和鱼儿的体验，让整个氛围变得格外轻松惬意，也非常适合家庭度假。未来有机会的话，我们一定还会想再次回来入住。

I had a truly memorable stay at YUNDU and would strongly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, tastefully designed, and warm place to stay in Lijiang. Overall, the experience was very positive, with excellent service, cozy design, and many thoughtful touches. There were a few minor areas for improvement, but they did not take away from how much I enjoyed my stay. Breakfast was excellent and honestly better than many meals I had outside. The local auntie who prepares breakfast is incredibly warm and friendly. The mixian is very foreigner-friendly, light, comforting, and not oily or salty like many outside options. I requested extra vegetables and additional boiled eggs, and she was more than happy to accommodate. This care really stood out. YUNDU’s Samoyed dog, Sanjin (三斤), is truly the heart and mascot of the hotel. He is extremely friendly and intelligent. Staff would say things like “去拍照，去跟姐姐玩” and Sanjin would immediately come over. During my afternoon tea, he quietly came over and sat beside me, which was a very heart-warming moment. Upon checkout, I even received Sanjin fridge magnets and a Polaroid photo, which was incredibly thoughtful. First impressions were great. As part of the package, YUNDU arranged an airport pickup from Lijiang Airport using a clean, comfortable EV. The driver was friendly, chatty, and helpful, and the ride to the hotel was smooth and relaxing. I was pleasantly surprised with a free room upgrade. The upgraded room was spacious, perfect for morning stretching, and included a large and very clean bathtub. Bath balls and a sheet mask were provided, which was a lovely winter touch. The bed was very comfortable. The pillows were a bit soft for me, but there were firmer ones available, and layering them worked well. The blanket was thick, soft, and warm, and even during power outages, I stayed comfortable. Facilities were well thought out, including a Laifen hair dryer with strong airflow, a large high-definition TV facing the bed with VIP streaming access, and a large humidifier suitable for overnight use. The bathroom layout was excellent for winter, with separated toilet and shower. The electronic toilet has heating and auto-flush, and the shower area includes warm air from above. The mirror lighting is also great for makeup. There were some minor layout quirks. There is no floor heating, and the slippers were placed far from the entrance. The electric kettle was placed on a cabinet with no power socket nearby. Service was one of YUNDU’s strongest points. Staff helped with luggage, provided room tours, and checked in regularly via WeChat. When I mentioned possible altitude discomfort, they even gifted me an oxygen tank. The boss was friendly and happily helped me take photos with Sanjin. The only small gap was the butler service. I only realised who my butler was on the last night, and one included service, a butler-accompanied visit to Baisha Ancient Town, which never happened — neither I nor the staff remembered it until I reviewed my package later on Trip.com. That said, my butler was extremely efficient in arranging transportation to Lugu Lake, with smooth coordination and reasonable pricing. The entire property is tastefully decorated, cozy, and inviting. The fireplace in the lobby is a highlight and perfect for winter evenings. During my first two nights, there were power outages. While this delayed some of my work, the room stayed warm. The upside was zero light pollution, and I could see a sky full of stars, which became one of my favourite moments of the stay. I strongly recommend YUNDU to anyone looking for a beautiful view, thoughtful design, warm service, and a cozy yet affordable stay in Lijiang. If you love Lijiang, come to Baisha. If you love Baisha, come to YUNDU.

Although Xi Shuang Ban Na UrCove claims they are a smoke-free hotel, from what I have seen this is not really true. I suggest People who are allergic to cigarette smoke or have health issues related to cigarette smoke definitely go somewhere else. I saw guests as well as hotel employees openly smoking in the front lobby of this hotel. Front desk clerks and supervisor saw this but not only said nothing to the offenders but when I complained about this, the front desk clerk ignored me and glared at me for complaining. Bedroom: very spacious and clean. beddings and sheets were very clean and comfortable. Toilet: was a very new style and with a temperature toilet seat Shower area: It was a disaster. The glass panel dividing the toilet and the shower area was poorly installed, so water from the shower area leaked everywhere. It was quite dangerous because the floor outside the shower was a smooth piece of floor tile. My wife almost slipped and fell down. We immediately told the front desk that night, and all they did was send someone to wipe up the water that's all. There was no follow-up after that. Breakfast: This has got to be the worst hotel I have ever been to regarding breakfast. The majority of the breakfast items were Chinese food which I have no complaints about, although I do not eat Chinese breakfast. The biggest problem was, when we went for breakfast after 9:15 am there were lots of emptied food containers and plates which was used to hold breakfast food items. Breakfast was supposed to end at 10:00 am. 9:15 am NO croissant, Not even a simple slice of bread which I can make toast with. I also checked the Chinese food items and lots of containers were emptied as well. I then went to ask a staff where I could at least get a piece of bread. Her answer was, there isn't anymore sliced bread and what you see is what you get. There was hardly anything to eat?!?!?! I was furious and I demanded to have a couple of pieces of sliced bread. In the end, kitchen staff Mr. Wang came to my rescue and cooked me and my wife each two fried eggs. On top of it, Mr. Wang went out to get me sliced bread from outside the hotel so that my wife will at least have something to eat for breakfast. On the second day of breakfast, there was no coffee after 9:15 am as the coffee machine went into cleaning mode for at least half an hour. The chief of Chef did end up helping me to get a cup of coffee but from what I can see, this hotel is NOT ready to receive international guests. Totally disappointed in the Urcove Xi Shuang Ban Na. Totally not the Hyatt standard at all. I really believe Hyatt management in Texas really should not take the risk of damaging their great brand by letting this hotel be branded with Hyatt's Name.  The way this Xi Shuang Ban Na Urcove is operating, they are worse than locally managed/owned hotels. 尽管西双版纳景洪告荘星光夜市逸扉酒店称他们是一家无烟酒店，但就我所见，事实并非如此。我建议对香烟过敏或对香烟烟雾有健康问题的人一定不能入住。我亲眼看到客人和酒店员工在这家酒店的大堂公开吸烟。前台工作人员和主管看到了这一幕，不但没有对违规者劝喻或警告，而当我对此提出投诉时，前台工作人员不答理我，还瞪了我一眼！！！ 评价酒店已下部门： 卧室：非常宽敞干净。床上用品和床单非常干净舒适。 厕所：非常新式，配有恒温马桶座 淋浴区：简直是一场灾难。分隔厕所和淋浴区的玻璃板安装不当，所以淋浴区的水到处漏水。这是非常危险的事，因为淋浴外的地板是一块光滑的地砖。我的妻子差点滑倒。我们当晚立即告诉前台，他们所做的只是派人擦干水而已。之后就没再跟进。 早餐：这是我住过最差的酒店。大部分早餐都是中餐，虽然我不吃中式早餐，但我也没有抱怨。最大的问题是，我们早上 9:15 之后去吃早餐，有很多空的食物容器和盘子，早餐盘很多是空的。早餐应该在 10:00 结束。9:15 已经没有羊角包，甚至连一片可以用来烤土司的面包都没有。我还检查了中餐食物，发现很多容器也被清空了。然后我去问工作人员，我可以在哪里找到一片面包。她的回答是，没有切片方包了，你看到的就只这些。没有其他的可以食！！！！我非常生气，重新要求几片切片面包。最后，厨房工作人员王先生给我们帮忙，他给我和我妻子每人煎了两个鸡蛋。王先生还从酒店外面帮我拿了切片面包，这样我和妻子至有点早餐可以食。第二天早餐时，早上 9:15 之后就没有咖啡了，因为咖啡机进行自动清洗，至少半个小时处于清洁模式。主厨最终帮我拿了一杯咖啡，但在我看来，这家酒店根本没有准备好接待国际旅客。 这次景洪告荘星光夜市逸扉酒店入住经验非常差。完全不符合凯悦的标准。我真的认为凯悦管理层不应该冒险让这家酒店打上凯悦的名字，从而损害他们的品牌形象。这家 西双版纳景洪告荘星光夜市逸扉酒店 的经营及管理模式，比当地管理/当地投资的酒店还远远不如。凯悦Hyatt 总公司真应该尽快管理好这家酒店免得影响Hyatt 品牌。

El personal fue excepcionalmente amable, el check-in y el check-out fueron rápidos, e incluso nos recomendaron activamente especialidades locales y rutas turísticas, ¡atentos y profesionales! Además, la insonorización del hotel superó las expectativas, por la noche era especialmente tranquilo, sin ninguna molestia del exterior, dormí muy bien. El desayuno tenía una gran variedad, tanto chino como occidental, con ingredientes frescos y buen sabor, capaz de satisfacer diferentes gustos. En general, esta experiencia de estancia fue de diez, con una excelente relación calidad-precio. La próxima vez que venga, volveré a elegir este lugar, y también se lo recomiendo a mis amigos que planeen viajar, ¡definitivamente no se arrepentirán!

The highlight of this hotel is the breathtaking view from the room. The hotel ambience feels homey and comfortable. I rarely write reviews for my trips, but this hotel truly won my heart with its welcoming service and friendly receptionists. What surprised me the most was the hotel driver, Mr. Mars, who offered to take us to Dali Railway Station free of charge. As we needed to catch our train, he did his very best to get us there as quickly as possible. What an amazing and unforgettable service! Thank you, Mr. Mars..you truly made our day with your warm and thoughtful service.

Best stay in Yunnan, they deserve a 10.0 rating!!! The owner has a very good taste, the rooms and common area are both well designed. Just renovated 2 years ago. None of the corners is not instagrammable. The yulong view is perfect, you can see the view from the room and common area. Never forget to mention about their service. I didn’t get the names of the receptionists (a guy and a lady), both are really friendly and helpful, love their smiles. They provide free rides to shuhe and dayan guzhen
