«Esta vez elegí alojarme en el Hotel Beihai en Huangshan por dos razones. Primero, planeaba una excursión tranquila, y es la mejor opción para estar cerca del teleférico de Yunggu. Segundo, es un hotel de primera categoría, recién renovado, que se ajustaba perfectamente a mis necesidades. Al registrarme, descubrí que la habitación estaba muy bien equipada: chaquetas de plumas, cafetera, equipo de música, linterna y una excelente temperatura y presión del agua en la ducha. Tal comodidad en la montaña fue una grata sorpresa. En cuanto a la comida, fue absolutamente perfecta: el té de la tarde, la cena buffet y el desayuno buffet me aseguraron que no pasaría hambre. Aún más considerado fue el servicio de mayordomo que contraté después del registro. El mayordomo me recordó los mejores lugares y momentos para ver el amanecer y el atardecer, ¡y se aseguró de que nos abrigáramos bien para no pasar frío! ¡Qué detalles tan considerados! «Este hotel fue elegido por mi familia durante las vacaciones del Primero de Mayo, atraídos por la temática del bosque. Nos alojamos dos noches y, en general, tuvimos una experiencia muy buena. Primero, la ubicación es conveniente. Hay muchos restaurantes cerca y está cerca de la estación de tren de Huangshan Norte, la calle antigua de Tunxi y Xidi; tanto los taxis como los coches facilitan el acceso. «Quedamos sumamente satisfechos con esta casa de huéspedes: la ubicación es inmejorable, cerca del lago Nanhu, el punto de partida para ver las linternas de peces. Además, está a un corto paseo de la Puerta Sur. Si vienes a finales de otoño, podrás ver extensos arrozales justo afuera de la puerta, y caminando hacia el este se llega a Tachuan, un viaje precioso.
Esta vez, la habitación estaba en el segundo piso, un piso muy alto con un patio en la planta baja. A veces se ve a grupos de amigos sentados charlando bajo los árboles de caqui.
La habitación estaba impecablemente limpia y la ropa de cama era comodísima.
Además, tienen su propio restaurante, que está en pleno auge, ¡y la comida es deliciosa!

Para ver VAC, el hotel está frente al parque Luogang. Es muy conveniente caminar y hay muchos lugares para pasar el rato y comer. El hotel es muy nuevo y todas las instalaciones son muy nuevas. Es bastante satisfactorio solo para ver el espectáculo, pero los alrededores aún no se han desarrollado, no hay muchas otras tiendas y la comida para llevar está relativamente lejos.
El check-in es muy rápido, solo 1 minuto como máximo. La señora de la recepción preparó cuidadosamente souvenirs, una pequeña bolsa de fruta y una caja de macarons. Cogí el tren de alta velocidad a la mañana siguiente y desayuné en el hotel. No había muchos estilos, pero era pequeño y refinado. Yo mismo agregué los fideos y la carne estaba muy sólida.
En general, estoy muy satisfecho y volveré si tengo la oportunidad.

Prior to stay, the staff are very prompt in helpful Q and A. Services are exceedingly good, excellent and accomodating. All staff are friendly, approachable, and careful to details. Sharing local culture and history, and place of interest. Outstanding concierge service.
Our stay include Tea appreciation, sumptuous dinner (2 choices), and hearty breakfast (2 choices). We were given complimentary drinks at bar, and alternative dishes to met dietary requirement. Very useful that hotel provide Hotel-Train station transfer. service, and other short distance ride to Huangshan hiking entrance (saved a lot of time).
Staff helped us booked our Cableway tickets which saved us time to queue for tickets and avoid buying wrong tickets.
Very spacious open concept, clean and modern room and furnishings like king size bed, large Sofa, round Table TV. Balcony with lush tranquillity view of nature full of mountainous greenery and waterfall. Sound of nature (cicada) and fortunately room comes with good sound proofing sliding door.
Bath tub, shower area, and WC with build in sensor and biget spray. Standard Amenities are provided. Electric source is China 2-pin 3-pin plug standard and USB.
Hotel is located within the Huangshan park (?). Saving us time in getting clearance at Park security office as the Driver brought us through the security checks with ease. We felt like VIP.
Hotel is a short drive away to nearest cableway (called ‘hot spring’ cableway etc.). Do bring rain coat as weather up in the mountain is unpredictable. It rained when we reached up at ‘Yuping’ cableway. Hotel staff offered us rain coat.
We have a skilful driver to transport us safely form our Hotel-Train station transfer.

Usuario invitadoWe stayed for one night at Yingjia Jinling Grand Hotel, Huoshan, traveling as a three-generation family—my wife, our 3- and 5-year-old daughters, and two grandparents. Tucked away in a small mountain county in Anhui, the property turned out to be an unexpected find. What stands out immediately is the price-to-quality contrast: standard rates run on the order of one-fifth to one-twentieth of what a comparable international luxury five-star would charge, depending on the specific brand and city, yet the hardware and execution make no compromises.
The room build-out is benchmarked directly to international five-star standards. In-room systems: the smart bidet toilet, automated curtains, and intuitive lighting controls, are on par with top-tier properties in Beijing, Shanghai, or Guangzhou, with no discernible difference. Even the smaller amenity details show uncommon care; the hotel stocks dental floss picks in the bathroom, a practical touch that many luxury properties skip entirely. Overall service was attentive and thorough. If I had to point out any shortcomings, there is no mini-bar in the room, and the in-room coffee is instant rather than freshly brewed.
Beyond the room, the area immediately surrounding the hotel added another surprising dimension that made this small mountain county feel like even more of an unexpected find. Just outside the property, the surrounding complex features a large musical fountain, open-air cultural and stage performances, and a dedicated snack street that comes alive at night with barbecue and beer. Having lived in the United States, I had never seen this much vibrancy gathered around a hotel, and it gave us an effortless, enjoyable way to spend the evening together. (Imagine Bellagio but 1/10 the crowd)
The standout feature of our stay was the family room, which was exceptionally kid-friendly. Instead of token gestures, the room came equipped with thoughtful amenities tailored to traveling with young children. Inside, the kids were happily at play with a little alpaca-styled toy car. The hotel also sent up snacks alongside a small gift, brought by an actual robot. In the bathroom, they provided dedicated children’s slippers, children’s toiletries, an adapted toilet seat ring, and a small step stool so our girls could reach the sink and wash their hands by themselves. They even included a small night light, which came in handy, as the little ones are genuinely afraid of the dark.
It is rare to see a hotel anticipate the practical logistics of a family stay this thoroughly, especially in a quiet county setting. Yingjia Jinling Grand Hotel is a genuine hidden gem in Huoshan, and I recommend it without hesitation.

My stay at Luming Valley Hotspring Holidays B&B exceeded every expectation from the moment we drove up the hill.
My husband and I stayed in the Mountainscape Terrace Mountain View Suite, which genuinely felt like a 5‑star hotel room. It was spotless, beautifully furnished, and equipped with an incredibly comfortable bed, a fully stocked mini fridge, and a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains. The smart controls operated by “Xiao Bao” were a fun and convenient touch. We were completely blown away and honestly wished we could have stayed in the room forever.
Even before our arrival, the staff communicated with us via WeChat to ensure everything went smoothly. We were able to speak with an English‑speaking staff member who took care of every detail for us—booking the hot springs, arranging breakfast, dinner, and afternoon tea, and even offering to help us get to the train station on our last day. Their attentiveness went far beyond anything we’ve experienced at other hotels. We were even given a thoughtful bag of gifts upon departure.
Because the hotel is quite isolated, we ate all our meals on-site. The cuisine is Chinese, which isn’t usually my preference, but everything was delicious, freshly prepared, and presented with great care. A standout was the afternoon tea we enjoyed on our second day. We could choose to dine in our room or at the restaurant, which was perfect depending on how we felt each day.
The highlight of our stay was definitely the hot springs. There are four in total, and we used the two located higher on the hill, which offered an incredible view—even on a cloudy day. The temperature was perfect, and everything was exceptionally clean. The staff assured us that each pool is drained and refilled after every use, which gave us great peace of mind. Soaking in the hot springs in the heart of winter, surrounded by Huangshan’s beautiful mountains, was an unforgettable experience.
The hotel is about an hour from both Huangshanxi and Huangshanbei stations and easily reachable by car or Didi. Due to the weather, we didn’t visit the mountain scenic area, but the staff were more than willing to help us plan if we wanted to explore the surroundings.
This was truly a 10/10 stay. The staff make you feel like you’re the only guests there with their warmth and attentiveness. The design and architecture are stunning, and the hotel even smells amazing. I have absolutely no complaints and would rank this among the best hotels I’ve stayed at anywhere in the world. It’s a perfect romantic getaway, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful escape. I can’t wait to return!

Usuario anónimoFor a three-diamond hotel charging almost 400 CNY per night, I expected a little more attention to detail. The room itself was spacious, clean, and tidy, with a large panoramic window overlooking a pleasant row of trees. There was also a nice tea table, which made the room feel cozy.
One detail I genuinely appreciated was the care given to the old tree in the garden. Seeing it supported with an IV drip system was both unusual and heartwarming—it showed that someone actually cares about preserving it instead of simply replacing it.
However, a surprising number of small issues gradually added up and affected the overall experience.
I booked a room with a bathtub, but the bathtub turned out to be rather small and leaked unless a disposable plastic liner was used. There were no bath salts, bubble bath, or any other bath amenities, while the shampoo and shower gel bottles were only 50 ml each.
The room initially had only one 1.5-liter bottle of drinking water. I had to call the front desk to ask for regular 500 ml bottles and tea. There was neither tea nor coffee in the room upon arrival.
Breakfast was the biggest disappointment. There was almost no meat except pork baozi. Boiled eggs were available, but there were no traditional soy-marinated eggs. On the positive side, the purple sweet baozi were delicious, and the sliced melon was excellent—the rind had been completely removed, which was a nice touch. Unfortunately, two of the three desserts were stale and overly dry, and some cherry tomatoes still had black spots around the stems.
The biggest issue, however, was coffee—or rather, the complete absence of it. There was no coffee in the room, and there was no coffee at breakfast. In fact, breakfast didn't even include tea or plain drinking water. I honestly didn't expect that the rarest item at a hotel breakfast buffet would be... water.
For someone staying in a smoking room, a cup of coffee is one of those small pleasures that makes the morning better. Unfortunately, that small pleasure never arrived. Maybe coffee is considered a luxury item here.
Overall, the hotel has good potential thanks to its spacious and clean rooms. But hospitality is often about the little things, and this hotel missed quite a few of them. I would consider staying here again only if these service details are improved.

Esta vez elegí alojarme en el Hotel Beihai en Huangshan por dos razones. Primero, planeaba una excursión tranquila, y es la mejor opción para estar cerca del teleférico de Yunggu. Segundo, es un hotel de primera categoría, recién renovado, que se ajustaba perfectamente a mis necesidades. Al registrarme, descubrí que la habitación estaba muy bien equipada: chaquetas de plumas, cafetera, equipo de música, linterna y una excelente temperatura y presión del agua en la ducha. Tal comodidad en la montaña fue una grata sorpresa. En cuanto a la comida, fue absolutamente perfecta: el té de la tarde, la cena buffet y el desayuno buffet me aseguraron que no pasaría hambre. Aún más considerado fue el servicio de mayordomo que contraté después del registro. El mayordomo me recordó los mejores lugares y momentos para ver el amanecer y el atardecer, ¡y se aseguró de que nos abrigáramos bien para no pasar frío! ¡Qué detalles tan considerados!
