Personnel très compétent, aimable, courtois et serviable. Très bon petit déjeuner à volonté. Très bruyant dû au fait des personnes qui ne respectent pas les lieux et les gens de 22h30 à 1h du matin et de 5h30 au moment où ils s'en vont, car il n'y a personne pour surveiller la nuit.

Our group of 28 students and professors arrived after a long bus ride from Normandy and a couple of hours in Bastogne. Tired and hungry, we arrived at Arlon and were greeted warmly. My room was well-appointed, comfortable, and extra clean. The bed was like being at home. We had dinner at the hotel, and it was very good. Baked chicken fillet, croustillant et sauce champignons, and a brownie for dessert were excellent. Breakfast the next morning had several options of cereals, breads, fruit, yogurts, as well as the usual breakfast meats and eggs. Several of the students wanted to stay another day or two. I would have joined them.

We stopped for lunch on the way to Switzerland. My husband ordered vol aux vent and I ordered a chicken burger with onions and fries. The vol aux vent was only luke warm and tasteless the puff pastry stone-hard. When you order a chickenburger you would expect a piece of braised chicken ( breast) and fresh fried unions. What came was an unidentified circle of some kind of meat out of the deep fryer and some ready bought fried union crumbs out of a bag. We would have eaten better ( and cheaper) if we would have stopped at the local snackbar ( frituur). Afterwards my husband was feeling sick the rest of the day and following night! This is the second time that we tried to eat at this van der Valk hotel and the second time that the food is disgusting. I don’t understand why, in other van der Valk hotels it is ALWAYS good. You would think that this van der Valk couple running this hotel was placed here in exile as a punishment by the rest of the van der Valk family or they just don’t care! i guess the latter.

En el hotel, el hotel está muy bien, pero no hay nada que pueda hacer. El hotel está muy bien situado, y el hotel está muy bien situado. El pan.. wow, y grandes selección de carne y queso.. sólo me decepciona que el primer día me atrasé y se me olvidó. El hotel está situado en una calle a la que se encuentra muy tranquilo. A 2 minutos a pie de la plaza principal, con todos los restaurantes de su conveniencia, tengo una hermosa vista de una iglesia y de las colinas rodantes a la distancia de mi ventana. El hotel está muy bien situado, y el hotel está muy bien situado. Hay incluso una máquina de hielo que es grande para los americanos.. no puedo decepcionar una cosa en este hotel. Sólo diría que reservarla!! No dude.

We discovered this hotel/restaurant by chance in 2015 … and, except during the pandemic, have returned every year at least once. It is the perfect place to stopover when driving to/from Switzerland, France, Italy, etc. The hotel is on the outskirts of Arlon … in a lovely, quiet area. The rooms are beautifully appointed and immaculate. Dinner in the restaurant is superb … the food is absolutely sublime … with an extensive selection of fine wines. Breakfast is also excellent. Monsieur and Madame, and the rest of their team, provide such warm and gracious hospitality. It is a very peaceful and restful experience, and we shall continue to return whenever possible.
