I recently stayed at Kannawaen Sanso Ryokan, and it was a truly remarkable experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff’s warm hospitality made me feel welcomed and relaxed. The ryokan is set in a beautiful, serene location, surrounded by nature, offering a peaceful retreat from daily life. The room was spacious and tastefully decorated in traditional Japanese style, blending modern comforts with authentic charm. The private onsen attached to my room was a highlight, allowing me to unwind in soothing hot springs while taking in the picturesque views. What truly sets Kannawaen apart is the attention to detail and personalized service. The staff went out of their way to ensure everything was perfect, making me feel truly cared for throughout my stay. If you’re looking for a luxurious, tranquil getaway with impeccable service and a true Japanese experience, I highly recommend Kannawaen Sanso Ryokan. It’s a place we would love to visit again. Note: they provide shuttle from/to station with time slot! Convenient

El hotel es una gestión japonesa, el servicio es muy bueno, el personal es muy entusiasta y está muy intimidad. La recepción está en el lugar, hace que la gente se sienta como un huésped. Hay muchas piscinas de sopa del hotel, todas ellas son muy características, muy cómodas. La maquinaria de la mañana y la cena está llena de trabajo y muy deliciosa. Los servicios tienen servidores chinos que le gustan mucho. Incluso no hablan chinos los servicios japoneses que también introducen los platos con traducción móvil. El hotel también ofrece todos los tipos de ropa interior que se pueden usar y la experiencia es excelente.

這家酒店離大分站大概一公里不到距離，走路可達，由於大分站附近酒店選擇不算太多，這家還是蠻推薦的，外觀氣派，四星配置，酒店房間也基本都挺大的，這家還有點温馨的感覺，日本酒店都有些年代，所以大多數乾濕不分離的，整體來説還是很滿意的一家酒店

El desayuno es muy antiguo, a precios razonables y un ambiente, pero el personal del conteo de recepción no puede hablar inglés y sólo me da algunos catálogos de información en Corea. El hotel está situado en el centro comercial de Youme, donde se encuentra el centro comercial más idóneo.

We chose this gorgeous Ryokan because after backpacking in Japan for a month we felt like a treat to end our trip. It was a beautiful place to reflect upon our adventures. We hired a car so that we could explore the region and go into town when ever we wanted to (it’s located approximately 3km out of town up a hill). We bought a bottle of wine and snacks in the local supermarket and enjoyed a glass each evening in the garden. Sadly we were unable to experience their restaurant as they had not seen our email requesting this; however we found a some cute restaurants and cafes ate there instead. The hot springs really were 🥵 but great for our aches. Highly recommend as a beautiful private place to reconnect with your loved ones. It would be an amazing place for a wedding as everyone would be together and the gardens are so tranquil.

The hotel is located about 7 minutes walk from Yufuin station. It is not so close to the walking street and so not so noisy and crowdy. The staff are polite and can explain to us in English. The room is big and they will serve you the tatami bed at 6pm. There are 2 public onsens, one for men and one for women. Only 1-2 people were using when I went in. I didn't book the dinner and breakfast there because there are many foods in the walking street. The view of the balcony is good too. I drank beer and sat very comfortably to look at the night view that night after taking the hotspring. What a life!

El recepción es muy educado. Otros empleados también me cuidan. La habitación es muy limpia y las instalaciones son ricas. El desayuno es muy luxuoso, me comí con té.

The hotel design is very unique, and the room planning is outstanding, offering large and comfortable spaces for both sleeping and general relaxation. The private onsen has 2 large glazed doors that open directly to the private terrace, plus a full width and height glazing, enabling the feeling of enjoying an external onsen. The staff can communicate well in English and is very friendly and helpful. The one observation that the hotel management can review is on the lighting in the luggage space, it is sensor operated, as one needs to organize the luggage for sometimes, the short duration of lighting on is not sufficient for the packing, please consider having the lighting be changed to manual operation. Otherwise, well done.

I stayed with my family during our trip to Beppu, and it exceeded all my expectations. We wanted to experience a traditional-style Ryokan, and this was the perfect choice. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, ensuring that everything was well managed. One of the highlights was the ability to reserve a private bath, which made the experience even more relaxing. The breakfast was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. The atmosphere was peaceful and calm, making it an ideal place to rest and unwind. The location is also convenient—just a 7-10 minute taxi ride from Beppu Station. I highly recommend this Ryokan to anyone looking for an authentic and relaxing stay in Beppu!
