This is a nice hotel with a good location and a convenient shuttle service. The ski garden is very enjoyable for both children and adults. We stayed in a Japanese-style room with a beautiful view, which made the stay even more pleasant.
However, the checkout time feels too early at 10:00 AM, especially considering that check-in is only available from 3:00 PM.
Another issue was the futon bed setup. The hotel schedules it at 6:00 PM, but I requested to move it just one hour earlier to 5:00 PM because my child wanted to rest. Unfortunately, the hotel could not accommodate this request. I don’t quite understand why such a simple service request could not be fulfilled.
Breakfast was fairly good, although the variety of options was somewhat limited.»

«I’m giving my honest opinion. This is my first unsatisfied review for a hotel room. I was very disappointed by the room for the price I paid. I paid more for this room than what I paid for luxury upscaled room near Tokyo Disney. The photos online were very deceiving. When I entered my room, it was gross, i cringed, and my toes curled. I didn’t want to put my belongings down. The carpet was old and disgusting. The pull out couch bed was gross. There were stains on the couch back rest and the mattress. The sheet for the mattress was too small it didn’t cover the stained mattress. The beds were hard and didn’t feel clean. The shower curtain had a bad odor. The room was very dated. Since this hotel is pretty secluded and other hotels were booked we had to make do. I’m glad we only stayed one night. On a better note, the staff were very friendly and service was great. Location for skiing was amazing, and the free shuttle bus was fabulous. Naeba Prince Hotel really need to do better with their rooms. I was looking forward to bringing my entire family of 14 to stay a few nights next year, but after seeing the rooms, I will not stay here again unless they renovate their rooms which are in dire need of upgrades.»

«My wife and I visited this onsen resort in 2023 and we loved it. My wife especially likes the many onsens they have. We have always wanted to come here again and finally did after 3 years. Like three years ago, the room and facilities are very clean and well maintained everything just as they were. One thing did change and we are quite upset about it, is that the staff is not as enthusiastic as they were (there are some familiar faces, many new ones). I still recommend this place to everyone, Futaba is still the best compared to the other two onsen resorts we’ve visited in between. Hope they can figure out some way to motivate the staff and offer a better experience to guests.»

Giam KKExcellence location next to Niigata Station. Good for those without car. Many things to do and eat within walking distance.
For those with a car, it would be good to find out the parking arrangement provided by the hotel since the hotel lobby is on the 4th floor.
Park your car at shopping mall Plaka 1 / 2 then go up to the lobby to check-in and settle the parking charges.

Yesterday, we were unfortunately involved in a car accident. The hotel was very understanding and kindly allowed us to reschedule our stay to another day. We were deeply touched by your flexibility and consideration.
Today, we experienced another accident in the mountains. During this difficult time, one the staff was incredibly kind and supportive. She helped us communicate and translate with the police, ensuring that we could clearly explain the situation and receive assistance. Her help was truly invaluable in getting us safely rescued.
In addition, the hotel manager and staffs generously drove us from the police station back to the hotel and assisted us with the necessary follow-up arrangements. Their patience, compassion, and willingness to go above and beyond their duties meant so much to us.
We are truly grateful for the care and support we received. It has been a blessing to be guests at Oosado Hotel, and we will always remember your kindness.

非常好的設計酒店，交通需提前一天讓平台預約衹有越後湯澤旅籠井仙酒店15:15一趟，越後湯澤站對面就是井仙，也是龍言家的酒店，跟工作人員説明後可以在酒店休息等侯，這個接站不是固定的，預約才有，車程約半小時，到酒店後就有高效熱情的接待，我一個人定的基礎房型一泊二食，房間很大很寬敞，酒店是八海山酒業的有形文化材古代農家豪宅改建，設計獲獎，保護歷史和注意周圍環境保護，我非常喜歡，古樸時尚，大廳有茶水小食提供，下午5點有梅酒和清酒提供，現在沒有在房間吃便當的情況了，都是在餐廳吃，晚餐和式，我覺得在這個人均收費裏做得非常用心精緻了，環境優美，服務規範熱情，酒水飲料價格便宜，吃得很開心很滿足，我覺得比扉温泉明神館人均四千加的日式餐廳還好吃，早餐自助，三份主菜選一份，其他的自助，品質優良，口味很好，晚上8:30至9:15有三味線表演，夫婦倆一唱一彈是專業的演員，温泉有大浴場和一個私湯，私湯亮燈可進，但常滿，退房十一點然後交通車又送到越後湯澤站，有了交通車很舒適方便。不足設計師可能是設計店鋪商業的，住宿上有不足，非常漏光，晚上房間燈全關後走廊公區的燈光會透過來，深夜上衞生間都不用開燈，窗户和門隔音不好，下雨屋檐滴水聲很大，好在我備了眼罩耳塞，下雨降温空調暖房設定三十度也不能吹暖和，衹能維持不冷，日本酒店窗簾不遮光常態。總體非常好的酒店。

My wife and I visited this onsen resort in 2023 and we loved it. My wife especially likes the many onsens they have. We have always wanted to come here again and finally did after 3 years. Like three years ago, the room and facilities are very clean and well maintained everything just as they were. One thing did change and we are quite upset about it, is that the staff is not as enthusiastic as they were (there are some familiar faces, many new ones). I still recommend this place to everyone, Futaba is still the best compared to the other two onsen resorts we’ve visited in between. Hope they can figure out some way to motivate the staff and offer a better experience to guests.

Usuario anónimoThe hotel itself is quite nice, and the service at the reception desk was excellent. The staff in person were polite and genuinely tried to help with anything I needed during my stay.
However, I was very disappointed with the phone service. When I called the hotel and spoke in English, the call was hung up on me. I tried several times and the same thing happened. It did not seem like the staff member on the phone was willing to assist or find a solution. This left a very negative impression.
As this is an “International Hotel,” I expected at least basic English communication or an attempt to assist rather than disconnecting the call. I already informed the hotel about this issue and I sincerely hope they improve their phone service permanently.
Additionally, the hotel is located 10 mins by walk from the city center so you will likely need to take a taxi to travel around.
Overall, the in person service was good but the phone communication experience needs serious improvement.
