I have stayed at The Pullman before and had no issues, however this time we were not overly impressed. I paid for a king room, but when it came to the evening we soon discovered we had been placed in a room with a zip lock bed which had not been connected, causing there to be an uncomfortable and noticeable gap between the 2 singles. There was also dried blood on the sheets. We spoke to reception and we were offered an alternative room with a king sized bed. Unfortunately, the room we were placed in was directly above the arena where a rave was taking place meaning the bass reverberated around the whole room until approx 11pm. We had been out for a meal on the docks, and upon returning to the hotel we were met with rave goers slumped in the doorway, and a guy urinating outside one of the entrances, as well as groups fighting directly outside and gathering in the hotel bar/foyer. Not a great experience at all!

My Two-Night Stay at Phoenix Hotel Liverpool: Central City Experience Just wrapped up a fantastic two-night stay at Phoenix Hotel Liverpool and wanted to share my thoughts! At £126.90 plus a small £4.80 property fee, it offered excellent value for a city center experience. The location at 46-48 Foley Street puts you right in the heart of Liverpool, which was perfect for my mini-break. Being centrally located meant I could easily walk to major attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas without relying on transportation. The vibrant city atmosphere was right on my doorstep! I stayed from **Thursday, August 7 to Saturday, August 9, 2025** — a perfect two-night city escape. Check-in after 3 PM was smooth and welcoming, and the 11 AM check-out time was standard and convenient. The staff were helpful and made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The hotel itself (which I could see in the booking thumbnail) had a classic Liverpool charm about it. My room was clean, comfortable, and had all the essentials I needed for a pleasant stay. While not ultra-luxurious, it was well-maintained and provided a cozy base for exploring the city. What I appreciated was the **transparent pricing** — I knew exactly what I was paying upfront (£126.90) and what I'd need to pay at the property (just £4.80). The Trip.com booking process was straightforward, and having their price match and stay guarantee gave me extra confidence in my booking. The app's ”Message Property” and ”Call Property” features came in handy when I needed some local recommendations. The ”Manage Booking” function made it easy to keep all my travel details organized in one place. Is it a five-star luxury hotel? No, but it doesn't claim to be. Phoenix Hotel Liverpool delivers exactly what it promises: a comfortable, well-located place to stay at a reasonable price point that lets you experience the best of Liverpool without breaking the bank. **Would I recommend it?** Absolutely! If you're looking for a centrally located hotel in Liverpool with good amenities and friendly service, this place ticks all the boxes. Perfect for weekend city breaks, concert-goers, or anyone wanting to soak up Liverpool's vibrant atmosphere.

Booked for Haydock Races however the race day got cancelled unfortunately.  We were a group of 10 and still went to the hotel.  We went into Newton Le Willow had drinks and a curry.  Hotel is nice however looking tired.  Towel rail was on roasting all day/night which made the bathroom far too hot.  Otherwise a nice room.

We had a lovely stay. The standard hotel room was very spacious, bed very comfortable, room very clean and really nice decor. Breakfast was great, with fresh fruit, homemade baked bread and a good selection of hot and cold options. The White Bar was a great place for food and drinks. Staff very friendly. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Buen hotel con habitaciones amplias. Estaba en la parte delantera y la música y la gente que salía por la noche en los bares cercanos estaban muy altas hasta las 4 o 5 de la madrugada... Por suerte, pude dormir, pero no habría sido bueno para alguien con el sueño ligero.

The Crowne Plaza Liverpool Airport was clean throughout, very comfortable bedrooms (We had a double bed in one room 003 and 2 doubles in another 049). Staff were very friendly and helpful.  Food: We had food in the restaurant area on the first night. 2 of us opted for the tuna and one for the ribeye steak. The steak was beautiful. The tuna had to go back for extra cooking as they were both still swimming. Apparently there was an ‘agency chef’ in the kitchen. Tuna was very tasty when we got it back.  We would all definitely stay again the next time we visit Liverpool. 

Excellent location and a very spacious room. Theres a gym too. The service provided by the lady who checked us in was bad. She didn’t brief us on anything at all. Just processed it. Later that day, we sat at the cafe and noticed another Recep lady briefing a couple she was helping to check in. Talking about the gym, laundry area, nearest Tesco etc. On the first day at about 6 pm, I noticed my room was still cold and called the Recep. Unfortunately the same lady who checked me in earlier answered the phone. She just gave vague directions on how to on the aircon and I told her I already did that for hours and adjusted the temp to 26 but it was still freezing cold. She didn’t bother to help further even when I called two more time. Later at about 1 am, I woke up freezing cold and called the Recep. This time a guy answered and readily said he will come and check the air con for me when I told him the earlier gal didn’t help at all. When he came up, he realised that the aircon was on AC and not heating mode. And reset it for me. Thank God for him. Learnt from my phone that the temp was 4 deg that night due to some cold front and rain. I had suffered 6.7 hours of freezing cold because of the laziness of the other lady earlier. Not happy about it. Very unprofessional and unbecoming of service staff.

Cuando llegamos, notamos que nos habíamos dado una habitación mucho más baja que nunca. La vista era terrible. No había nevera que siempre tuvimos antes y la habitación parecía 'cansada'...in necesidad de TLC. La habitación de la habitación era muy buena, pero la habitación era muy buena. La habitación está muy cerca de la habitación. Quien hace té de hoja libre en el restaurante necesita aprender es 1 tsp de té por persona y 1 para el jarra. En este caso 3tsp de té y no la mitad de un jarra de té lleno. No te encuentro niño. Vea la foto abajo. Tenemos una devolución para algunos de los tés, pero no para el té crema tenía mi amigo. Mi amigo había pedido un té crema y yo, sólo un té. Sin embargo, trajeron un vaso de té para 2, que es la etiqueta equivocada para un pedido como este. Por lo tanto, sólo tenemos 2 tazas de ella, debido a la cantidad de té libre en ella. Creo que me ha roto el superior estándar de las habitaciones, cuando hemos permanecido antes ....I sólo supuso que todas sus habitaciones serían como esto

Excelente, 100% recomendado. Su ubicacion en los alrededores de la Universidad de Liverpool, lo hace un lugar bastante tranquilo de noche y lleno de vida durante el día. Además se encuentra muy cerca de los lugares turísticos por excelencia de Liverpool, lo que lo hace de muy fácil acceso usando el sistem de buses. El desayuno es delicioso, con mucha variedad y siempre fresco. El personal del Hotel es muy atento, amable y presto a ayudarte.

EspañolEl hotel y el bar eran geniales, teníamos una habitación lateral con una puerta que comunicaba, se podía oír todo de los huéspedes de al lado, lo que hacía que uno no sintiera privacidad, además oíamos mucho ruido desde las 6 de la mañana todas las mañanas, barrenderos, camiones de basura, recogidas de cristal, etc... y los ballards hacían un anuncio de advertencia cuando los vehículos entraban y salían, así que pide una habitación interior si tienes el sueño ligero, no malgastes tu dinero con el restaurante muy decepcionado, restaurante vacío para ser negado una cena a las 7.30 pm nos dijeron que volviéramos más tarde, el desayuno terrible llegamos con tiempo de sobra sobre el horario de apertura, pero el personal no podía ser más grosero, sólo querían terminar, lo cual era muy desagradable y te hacía sentir incómodo, apagando la tostadora 15 minutos antes del cierre, la calidad de la comida muy pobre y muy poca disponibilidad de comida fresca cocinada, nos alojamos 3 noches y después de nuestra experiencia con el desayuno y la cena, cancelé el desayuno para las próximas 2 mañanas, hay muchos lugares estupendos para comer alrededor.
