This is a very nice hotel with plenty of available parking (a small fee of £5 per night is not unreasonable). We booked a family room which had two double beds for the three of us. The beds were very comfortable and the room had a huge flat screen TV, refrigerator, and a small coffee table with comfortable chairs beside the window. The bathroom was a good size with batch and shower within - the side of the bath may have been a little high for someone with mobility issues. Large reception area with plenty of seating, a coffee bar and bar nearby. The buffet style breakfast was excellent with plenty of freshly cooked food and a good array of pastries. There's also a free gym, pool, steam room and sauna. But, of course, during our two night stay, the latter three were all closed for maintenance! We booked our two nights on separate bookings due to a change of plans. This caused some confusion at reception and took a while to sort out so we didn't have to change rooms.

We went for a special birthday afternoon tea as a group and were very disappointed with the experience. 1. Table not set up/ready when we arrived, and the tables allocated were just not enough for the size of the group so we had to get another table added. Our group included a number of older ladies who weren't able to stand for long periods but they had to wait at least 15 minutes. We weren't early - the table should have been ready and big enough for our group. 2. Dietary requirements were wrong. We confirmed requirements THREE times before the day as one of our party has severe intolerances. The hotel got it wrong. This is simply unacceptable. 3. Three of our party were vegetarian and simply got less food. No alternatives to the meat treats (pigs in blankets and sausage rolls. No mince pies). For a festive menu that's simply not good enough. It's not hard to do, just needs a little bit of effort and planning. Also, the vegetarians were charged the same but got far less food. How is that reasonable? 4. Portions were incorrect. The set up was one 'tier' of sandwiches and cakes between two. Two of the tiers only had enough sandwiches for one person and we had to ask for more. Others didn't have the correct portions of desserts. As noted above, the vegetarians just got less of everything. 5. Dirty cups - we had to ask for replacements and one person didn't get a cup at all. 6. Lack of cutlery - no spoons for the puddings, etc. It's appalling that a hotel can't get the basics right. This experience left a rant bad taste in our mouths!

Un verdadero hall. Un gran hotel que es realmente mantiene la tradición. Es en una ubicación fantástica justo en la playa. El hotel tiene una buena sensación de ello. El personal no podría haber sido más útil en el check-in y con preguntas que tenía. Nos comimos en el restaurante costero que, además de ser buenos, ofreció realmente buenos alimentos. Estabamos allí por una ocasión especial, así que queríamos una experiencia excelente que tuvimos. Estamos seguros de estar de vuelta.

We had a fab stay at Ebenezers last week. Neil and his wonderful team really looked after us. With Neil this place is his passion and so he wants everyone to have the best of stays. If you like quirky, comfortable and friendly look no further than this establishment for your stay in Broadstairs. We stayed in the Beach room. Ebenezers is centrally located, it’s very clean and with a roll top bath to soak in a bathroom gorgeously tiled and then a comfy king sized bed to enjoy a good nights sleep. Breakfast was delicious and varied. We so enjoyed Darcy and Molly, Neil’s little dogs whose antics kept us entertained. We will definitely be back soon . Broadstairs is a hidden gem with lots of lovely restaurants to try. Sardinia was a real favourite of ours.

Quiero darle las gracias a Jakub, el director de restaurantes del hotel por ser tan atento, paciente y apoyado con el nuevo horrible menú que el hotel ofrece ahora. All the staff are really good, from check in, bar staff and those in Wheelers. We had asked for a room with a bath, and although originally the guy on reception was not sure, whenwe got in the room we did have one. Maybe we should have been told about the scafolding outside the window? Dinner was great. We had not booked breakfast, but since dinner had been so nice we decided to have breakfast. When we got there wew were told that they were so fully booked, but they took us into Wheelers. The small breakfast was superb, and my wife enjoyed her breakfast and latte, what a result that was. Only slight negative about the whole stay was that some glasses and used plates remained outside the rooms, adjacent to our room, but other than that this hotel is really good.

Fantastic stay in the newly and tastefully decorated Clifton Hotel. We received a very warm welcome from friendly and helpful staff, and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is in a great location opposite the beach with lovely walks along The Leas and also boasts a Marco Pierre White restaurant on site which has made for a definite return visit. A delicious breakfast was included in our stay with a huge choice of cooked or continental dishes and the staff were very attentive and friendly. Will be returning very soon.

Very clean room and very spacious! 8 minutes away from bluewater shopping centre which has lots of different food spots for you to eat at if you don’t want to eat at the hotel. Very friendly staff, great stay !!
