Antique hotel in a very good location close to the beach however no nothing is guaranteed by the hotel. There is no option to book parking (first come first serve basis), they can’t guarantee a good view to the sea even through you book a sea view room (you can end up to the side of the hotel which allows you a glimpse to the sea and that’s not what you really want and pay for). When trying to call the hotel goes to a customer service desk then they transfer you to the main reception which ends up with a dropped call several times considering the call is being charged per minute (we’re not in the 80’s, take some ownership for this please), if you finally get through they won’t be able to reserve a parking space at the hotel and guide you to park elsewhere (this you can literally do yourself without the hassle and waste of time). None of these (parking and room selection) are communicated precisely until you check in which in essence makes no sense when you want to plan your stay ahead. Overall the staff is kind and friendly so no improvement needed here, the opportunity stands for the hotel management who implement procedures and policies. The rooms have a heavy smell due to the age of the building, there is a brochure that explains refurbishment undergoing in that sense. Wifi - you can have daily access if you pay for wifi (I believe it was £7/24 hours) , this is also a thumbs down nowadays (tips: if you want to charge for wifi include this in the overall price fees so people don’t obviously pick on this or just offer it with the stay like a respectable business - a coffee shop where you spend £3 for a coffee offers it for free on a daily basis, think about it). Looking at breakfast - there is full English or cereal, oats and fruit. The terrace looks pretty nice, well looked after, a nice oasis to relax your senses listening to the sea waves. There is a chess board on a bigger scale just on the terrace, this if a nice setup and addition to the hotel vibe. Reservé para celebrar el cumpleaños de mi marido. El personal es muy agradable y útil. Prepararon la tarjeta y un poco de chocolate para celebrar. Y nuestra habitación es la de Seaview. Localización muy buena.Tengo un gran viaje con mi familia en Bournemouth.

El hotel entero es muy bueno y se recomienda fuertemente. Si la familia viaja a reservar su habitación familiar, el estándar es dos camas 0.9. Lo más importante es que al lado del hotel hay una calle de comida dulce, comida china y todos los tipos de hamburguesas. No se cobrará el desayuno para niños menores de 13 años. El estacionamiento es conveniente, 15 kilómetros al día. Caminar a la playa durante 15 minutos, no está lejos, principalmente porque van a la playa aquí. Y, además, se les trajeron a sus hijos con las chicas y las camisas, muy raras. La arena era tan fina que nos dejamos ir a la playa y pasamos dos días en la playa.

Nice hotel, not far from the beach. Breakfast was good but was only until 9.30am. Rooms were nice, spacious and clean we had a balcony room with lovely views of the beach, the rooms were quite hot and no A.C which is needed in hot weather. The outdoor pool is heated but no indoor pool for when the weather isn’t good. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Estamos llegando tarde del aeropuerto de Heathrow en Londres el 17 de enero. La recepción con gafas nos recibe muy entusiasta y nos ayuda a llevar el equipaje a la habitación. Vinimos a la carrera de baile nacional, reservamos el hotel durante cuatro días, pero el profesor le dijo que llegara un día antes y luego volvimos a reservar otro día. Después de un día, porque el tipo de habitación tiene que cambiar de habitación y cuatro días más, no queremos descuentar nuestros paquetes pequeños, una mujer líder de la señora, especialmente intimidad, nos ayuda a cambiar a la otra parte, muy conveniente; Nuestros camas dobles, pero el nuevo cuarto es un dormitorio grande, para ser cómodo, añadimos una cama, y nos agradecemos mucho. Y los días siguientes, vino a saludar si nuestras viviendas son cómodas y especialmente atentas. ¡Espero que viva en este hotel cuando vuelva a participar en el juego OPEN del Reino Unido en el futuro!

Very friendly hosts

All good, excellent place to stay whilst visiting family in the town.  My only disappointment was in the booking  - I wanted a smaller room and both the website and hotel stated there was one available but having almost completed booking was told only a master bedroom was available and considerably more expensive.  I had no time to investigate other options in the town.

Pleasant, clean & tidy, good shower, nice choice of breakfast. Easy to park outside and short 10mins walk into Bridport. I visited to go to the hat festival, which was so much fun, met with friends & had a fun day. Would definately stay here again :)
