La ubicación del hotel es excelente, no está lejos del Pabellón Hejiang. Pasear por el sendero junto al río me puso de muy buen humor. La decoración interior del hotel es elegante, como si de repente hubiera llegado a Lijiang. Reservé una habitación de tatami, el espacio era un poco pequeño, pero la habitación estaba limpia, así que dormir una noche no fue un problema. We stayed in Meishan for a week for a sporting event. The hotel has clearly seen better days—especially compared to many newer properties in the area (aging lifts, worn carpets, etc.). We chose it mainly for three reasons: breakfast, gym/pool, and laundry facilities. 1. Breakfast The daily buffet was solid and met expectations. It featured a typical Chinese spread: hot stir-fried dishes, vegetables, meats, buns, dumplings, fried rice/noodles, porridge, plus a live station for dan dan noodles, eggs, and simple meats like sausage or ham. There was also a rotating Chinese dessert (e.g., red date with longan, green bean soup), along with some Western options like salad greens, yogurt, bread, cake, and fresh fruit. Since we stayed a full week, we appreciated the small variations. That said, we were surprised by the limited fruit selection—mainly oranges and watermelon—especially given the abundance of fresh fruit available locally. Breakfast vouchers are issued daily and must be presented before dining. 2. Gym & Pool This was the biggest disappointment. Both the gym and pool were completely closed, and the entire floor was gutted with no visible renovation activity. It looks like these facilities have been—and will be—out of service for quite some time. This was a major letdown, as it was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. 3. Laundry There is only one washer and one dryer for the entire building. We were concerned about availability, but only had to wait once. The 15-minute wash cycle helps with turnover. However, the dryer takes a long time and unfortunately shrunk all my cotton clothing. I’d recommend partially drying cotton items and then air-drying them in your room. Package Perks We booked through Trip.com, which included a small daily package: a plate with two oranges and some snacks, complimentary coffee or tea in the lobby, and a free transfer to the high-speed rail station (must be booked at the front desk one day in advance). There were also canned sodas included, which we didn’t use. Room & Noise We were initially assigned a room facing the plaza, which was very noisy. After requesting a change, we were first told the hotel was sold out—but after some persistence, a park-facing room was “found.” This room was significantly better: quiet, bright, and pleasant, with birdsong in the morning. We were told these were actually an upgrade, and that road-facing rooms are even worse due to constant traffic noise. 4. Smart Room Features (“Xiao Du”) We did enjoy the smart room system—“Xiao Du,” which works similarly to Alexa. It can control the curtains, TV, room temperature, and lighting, which is a nice modern touch. However, it was also a bit frustrating at times—for example, it would automatically turn off the lights in the bathroom sink area. The lighting there is already quite dim and not ideal for doing makeup. It would be helpful if the hotel could improve lighting around the mirror (brighter bulbs would make a big difference), or even better, install a mirror by the writing desk near the window where there is natural light. Smoking Smoking is allowed in the hotel, and we did notice it in the lobby, elevators, and corridors. Thankfully, our room itself was fine. Housekeeping turns off the AC and opens windows when cleaning, which seems to help ventilate lingering smoke. Location & Surroundings The hotel is in a convenient area. A nearby park is lovely, with traditional structures and inscriptions related to the Su family. Within a short walk is a lively commercial plaza with restaurants, bubble tea shops, salons (I tried a newly opened nail salon), and more. Getting around via Didi is easy. Overall For the price, the hotel offers decent value. However, the closed fitness facilities were a major downside. If we return, we’d likely try a newer hotel—but this one works if you prioritize cost and location over amenities.

Our room was clean and comfortable with all the amenities that we needed for a comfortable stay. The breakfast buffet was nice with a good variety. I would like to suggest that the hotel enforce the no smoking rule more stringently as the ground floor was filled with the smell of smoke. Also the laundry room should have more machines as it is always fully occupied. Overall we enjoyed our brief stay at the hotel.

Esta es mi quinta vez en Chengdu. Hotel is so new! Its lobby, corridor, room, facilities and environment feel modern and new. The counter staffs seem to be around 24hr. So not to worry if you are checking in/out at wee hours. You can even deposit luggage with them after you check out. Their counter staff are very professional and good. There was once their staff helped to bring luggages to our room while we are settling bills at the counter. Hotel location is good, there is a supermarket across the road, convenience store (with coffee shop combined), below the hotel. There are few eateries as well. Need to didi to tourist attractions - Taikooli, IFS etc. Better to set pickup or dropoff location at the hotel parking lot entrance, as the door entrance (lobby) there is abit inconvenient due to the right turning road with bicycle lane which is abit dangerous. There are robots in the hotel that serves delivery. I've stayed in two different rooms due to personal arrangement. And both rooms are great.

La habitación era tal cual la descripción y nos sentimos cómodos alojándonos tres adultos. Estaba limpia y ordenada, con agua mineral y bebidas ilimitadas. El baño tenía un inodoro inteligente. El servicio de recepción fue excelente; incluso nos trajeron una manta extra cuando la pedimos. El desayuno era muy bueno, abundante y delicioso. No está lejos de Kuanzhai Alley y Kuaixinglou Street, se puede llegar andando. La recepción incluso le dio un pasador de pelo a los niños, lo cual fue un bonito detalle.

De casualidad elegimos este hotel Echeng en Chengdu, y aunque era la primera vez que nos alojábamos aquí, la experiencia general fue excelente. En el vestíbulo hay bebidas frías de autoservicio, té y café gratuito. Es una muy buena opción volver de las excursiones, sentarse un rato en el vestíbulo, tomar un té para relajarse y luego subir a la habitación. La habitación en la que nos alojamos en familia era muy espaciosa. Todo el personal del hotel es muy profesional y amable. El estacionamiento es gratuito y está justo al lado del hotel. La ubicación del hotel es un gran punto a favor, se puede llegar a Chunxi Road a pie en solo siete u ocho minutos. ¡Lo recomiendo encarecidamente!

Me gustaría escribir una reseña justa de mi estancia en el B&B de Emeishan. El servicio fue espectacular. 1) El hotel ofrece servicio gratuito de recogida y regreso desde la estación de Emeishan (no confundir con la estación de Emei), a unos 7-8 minutos en coche. Les informé por WeChat de qué trenes tomaría y que mi primer tren llegaría para dejar mi maleta grande en su casa, antes de regresar a Leshan durante medio día y regresar a Emeishan por la noche. No solo aceptaron enviar a alguien a la estación de tren para recogerlo, sino que también aceptaron recoger solo mi equipaje sin necesidad de que lo acompañara. Están en la parte inferior de una pared, en un lugar aleatorio, y no hay nada cerca de la mesita de noche. c) Las luces de la habitación no están bien ubicadas. d) Había una botella vacía debajo del armario cuando entré por primera vez en la habitación, que no vi ni siquiera el segundo día. e) Como no conozco Emeishan, tampoco sabía que la zona de 黄湾 no es precisamente la principal zona de actividad en Emeishan. Dicho esto, el hotel está a 5-7 minutos a pie de la entrada/salida de 黄湾 a Emeishan. Creo que la entrada/salida del Templo Baoguo sería más popular. Hay varios restaurantes cerca del restaurante, pero la gran mayoría parecen cerrados o vacíos, por lo que no se siente muy animado, ni de día ni de noche.
