One whiff and I nearly cancelled the stay on the spot. Room Rescue Cue Mr Hong Dejian—calm, English-speaking, and clutching the keys to redemption. He patiently showed me alternative rooms until we found one that didn’t smell like a poker night. Had I left, I would’ve missed what came next. Comfort Food = Home Dinner delivered a miracle: stewed chicken with potatoes and mushrooms. One bite and—boom—mummy’s cooking. After days on the road, I finally found food in China that tasted like home. Tail wagging resumed. Care Beyond the Call Mr Hong returned with a portable heater, pointed out city landmarks, and even taught me how to take a non-reflective photo (yes, this dog learns fast). His easy friendliness softened the edges of dirty window panes and mostly Mandarin-only staff. I even showed him the ink-black towel after wiping the window—evidence, not barking. Menu Meltdown & A Win At the restaurant, I was handed a Chinese-only menu after saying I don’t speak Mandarin. I hit the roof. To their credit, reception listened: I received a call from the lady boss, and the issue was acknowledged. Then a hero appeared—the restaurant lady, who patiently translated dish names so I could choose lunch and dinner without guesswork. Gold bone earned. City Interlude: Jilin Catholic Church Between meals and meetings, I visited Jilin Catholic Church (吉林耶稣圣心堂)—a quiet pause from hotel hiccups. The church offered a moment of stillness, a reminder that even on a bumpy stay, the city holds pockets of grace. Logistics That Worked Back at the desk, the reception lady manager efficiently arranged my transport to Wusong Island—quick, competent, and reassuring. Breakfast & The Fine Print Breakfast surprised me in the best way: healthy, balanced, a thoughtful mix of local and Western dishes. One final bone to chew—early booking didn’t pay off as prices dropped later. A truly Winning Hotel would honour the lower rate at check-in. Verdict Despite communication bumps, this is a solid winter hideout: good Songhua River views, comforting food, and fast service when it counts. El hotel es muy agradable y limpio. Hay horribles primaveras en el interior y piscina al aire libre. Cada personal es muy agradable y nos ayuda mucho. No pueden hablar inglés, pero usan WeChat para hablar con nosotros y ayudarnos todo, ya que reservamos como reservar el autobús o nos envíamos como ir al ferrocarril o cómo encontrar el autobús. También ayudan a ordenar la comida, reservar entradas de escenarios, escribir la señal para ayudarnos a volver al hotel, nos fuimos.

I had an amazing stay at Floral Baihe. The entire place is exceptionally clean, and the location is incredibly convenient, just a short walk to plenty of restaurants. The surroundings are peaceful and serene, making it perfect for a relaxing getaway. The staff ( especially 韩丹) were all very friendly, welcoming and helpful, which made the experience even better. Highly recommended!

This place is superb! All the staffs are so friendly and helpful. The room package is so worthwhile as it includes breakfast, skiing, snow activities, deer park and hot springs at Club Med. Room is spacious and comfortable. We had a very pleasant stay here. Highly recommended especially family with young children.

More then I expected: It's a hotel+serviced apartments, very clean and spacious rooms , staff is very nice, sweet and helpful, breakfast is with western+Chinese stuff, better then I expected , almost 30 min far from jilin high speed railway station, 1.30 hours car drive from chang chun airport, 600 metres far from ski area, Basement have ski equipment to rent out, have small convince store, also have small good enough gym also, truly better then I expected 超出我的预期： 这是一间酒店+服务式公寓，房间非常干净宽敞，工作人员非常友好、亲切且乐于助人，早餐有西式和中式，比我预期的要好，距离吉林高铁站约 30 分钟路程，距离长春机场 1.30 小时车程，距离滑雪场 600 米， 地下室有滑雪设备可供出租，有小型便利店，还有小型且不错的健身房，确实比我预期的要好

La habitación es muy agradable, pero no es muy fácil. El hotel está muy bien situado, y el hotel está muy bien situado, y el hotel está muy cerca de la zona. La ubicación se encuentra a unos 10 minutos en coche de la ciudad de 2-da-baihe. También gracias especiales a Ding Kalong que han acordado convertir mi HSR recoger para enviarnos allí a las 5 de la mañana.

The hotel located at a very strategic location, the facilities wise is also well equipped. The room is big and clean.

Hotel is walking distance to the famous guilin night market. And below the hotel, there are some casual restaurants. And if you are going for skiing, its about 30mins car ride to the Jinyuetang national park. Breakfast has alot of variety. A pleasant stay.

Here’This resort hotel was the most satisfying stay of our entire 8-day China trip across Harbin, Changbaishan, Xuexiang, and Yabuli. We stayed in a family residence unit, which allowed all of us to live together comfortably under one household. The resort is extremely clean and well-maintained. Our unit even included a mahjong table and a private hot spring, which made the stay very enjoyable. Although the price is not cheap, it is definitely worth the money. The butler service was excellent — the staff were attentive and always did their best to accommodate our requests. Highly recommended. I’m confident you will have a pleasant and memorable stay here.
