When I checked in, at the front desk they were very welcoming and welcomed me, asking if I was Korean. They also mentioned the names of their favorite Korean idols. But the problem was that there was only one woman working in the evening. I said 卫生间里没有休纸, but she didn't respond. When I said again, sh said 听不懂 and turned her head around even before I was done talking. 休纸? It's wrong word? I was also embarrassed and said in English, ”no paper in the toilet”. Again she said 听不懂 and didn't make any response. ”卫生间里没有休纸” ”no paper in the toilet”. I repeat the same thing in Chinese and in English again. What is this situation? Come on. A Chinese man waiting next to me saw this situation and said something to the employee, and then the employee looked at me, opened the back door and took out the tissue. What is this situation? It's not that she doesn't understand, but the hotel employee turned his head to the guest and refused to respond. I don't understand the employee's attitude.

It’s an average local hotel, the huge lobby is not heated and soooo cold. The checking in took forever and they did not let me in claiming that my prepaid booking is “not found on their system”, totally overlooking my confirmation letter and doing nothing to further inquire it. They just refused to let me in. I was standing there helplessly with my kids in the freezing lobby. Luckily the checking in finalized at last thanks to a Trip online assistant. And they would not even apologize and pretended like nothing happened. As for the room, spacious, but everything is a bit old. The bathroom show door handle came off while I tried to open it. The carpet was burnt from smoking and some spots were uncleaned. The bathroom fan and the room conditioner make loud noises. Also while I was taking a bath, the hotel cleaner just entered in using a card to ask if I needed cleaning for the room. I had to get out and answer her. Service is unsatisfactory.

¡El Hotel Matryoshka fue impresionante! ¡Elementos de muñecas nido en cada paso del hotel y de la habitación! Las matrioskas están por todas partes: en tazas, en las pantallas de las lámparas, en la ducha, en una silla, en los bordados de una bata. Los pasillos del hotel son muy bonitos, ¡como si estuvieras caminando por un palacio de lujo! Hay un ascensor de cristal turístico y un ascensor residencial. Hay dos botellas de agua, té y café gratis en la habitación. Hay secador de pelo, plancha, tabla de planchar, caja fuerte, frigorífico, hervidor eléctrico y artículos de tocador. Todo está limpio y en buenas condiciones. En la calle, por la noche, todo a su alrededor brilla con luces brillantes. Desayuno en un hermoso restaurante grande en el primer piso. Bufé. La variedad de platos es suficiente, no me sorprendió especialmente. Me gustó el pastel con forma de matrioska. Puedes llegar en el autobús N8.

Well! Here we go again. I stayed 4 days and 3 nights, I can mention that the positive things at the hotel was the front desk staff Ms. July who was very empathic and pro active before and during the check in. Free pick up service, free tour to grassland! Highly appreciate it guys. Nice shift front desk or operator team are not helpful at all. . . Cons The breakfast was not good as used to be before. Wifi not strong enough but can be used. Is not normal that at breakfast time to be served 2 lamb siao mae! I love it but the chefs only gave 2 then if i want more must come back for another 2!!!! Weird . . The tour agency located at the lobby is little bit rude and not professional. We got 1 free tour to rhe grassland and one paied but in both ocasions driver never dropped us back to the hotel. . . I should rate less but is ok 4/5

I’ve posted before, this is still (i think) the best option in Hohhot, mainly for its high quality staff and its location. Great food options (Green Tea restaurant! 💪) in the high end mall nearby, but also the old town is just round the corner. The staff are so friendly and they work tirelessly in what is very busy season

From beginning till end of my short stay (one weekend) everything was great. Free parking directly next to the hotel. Receptionist was friendly and helpful, room was spacy, clean, odour free and furniture seemed quite new. I did not choose the breakfast, but it looked tasty. Room was located to the street, but overall it was quiet. Would choose this hotel again for any other stay on Hohot.

Once again the Hilton lives up to its expectation. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. The hotel opened in mid 2022 and it still felt like new. It is easily accessible and the staff, as always, were super friendly and helpful. The rooms are reasonably spacious and without a doubt clean and well decorated. I love having breakfast in the morning and what a spread it was! Everything was fresh and on point. There was more than enough space for everyone to get a seat. We rented a car and had underground parking at the hotel. Just remember to share your number plate with the front desk so that you don’t have to pay when exiting at the gate. I highly recommend anyone to stay here.
