«We had a wonderful stay at Hampton by Hilton Old Qilou Street and would highly recommend it to families and Muslim travellers visiting Haikou.
The hotel staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly throughout our stay. We especially appreciated their assistance in helping us order halal food through *******.
For Muslim travellers, there is no need to worry about food options. A halal restaurant is located about a 10-minute walk from the hotel within the Old Qilou Street area. The food was delicious, affordable, and easily accessible.
The hotel’s location is fantastic. Within just a few minutes’ walk, there are plenty of shops, restaurants, souvenir stores, toy shops, and clothing stores. Everything you need is conveniently located within 5–7 minutes from the hotel, making it a great base for exploring the area. Convenient stores also located right beside the lobby. There’s a massive wholesale building for clothes just right next door!
We were also delighted that the hotel provides kids’ amenities, which was a thoughtful touch and made our family stay even more comfortable.

La ubicación es realmente muy conveniente, especialmente para nosotros: cerca de la playa con su amable personal; tiendas abiertas hasta altas horas de la noche; fácil acceso en taxi a cualquier punto de la ciudad.
El desayuno, aunque es el mismo todos los días, es delicioso. No hay americano ni expreso, solo café 3 en 1 muy dulce.
El gel de ducha y el champú son de buena calidad, pero no hay acondicionador. Los cepillos de dientes se cambian a diario. Las toallas y la ropa de cama están muy limpias y sin olores. Eso es todo.
No me gustó nada el comportamiento del personal en el desayuno: el desayuno dura hasta las 10:00. No todos los turistas pueden levantarse a las 6:00. Algunos quieren recuperar el sueño perdido; Al fin y al cabo, están de vacaciones. Si llegas a desayunar a las 9:30, puede que alguien que te abra te dé una advertencia, como: ”¡Mira! ¡Son hasta las 10! ¡¿Dónde vas tan tarde?!”. Se volvió molesto en los últimos días de mis ”vacaciones”. Luego, a las 9:45, simplemente empezaron a retirar la comida, apagando la máquina de café y leche caliente. Como recordatorio, el desayuno se sirve hasta las 10:00 entre semana. Hay un cartel enorme colgado en la entrada. Incluso si un huésped llega a las 9:55, el hotel está obligado a servir el desayuno, sobre todo sin ninguna reprimenda por llegar tarde.
La calidad de la limpieza probablemente depende de quién la haga: 4 de cada 5 veces, la limpieza es descuidada, el baño no está limpio, simplemente limpian rápidamente el suelo con un trapo muy húmedo mientras desayunas.
Las habitaciones necesitan una reforma: en la primera habitación que nos asignaron inicialmente, el edificio B con vistas a la ciudad, todo pende de un hilo y faltan algunas cosas que deberían estar. El secador de pelo apenas funciona, todo cruje, hay manchas en el techo y las paredes, etc.
No hay zapatillas desechables; tienen unas de goma reutilizables, que huelen mal a pies y además se ven sucias; es antihigiénico y asqueroso. Compramos zapatillas de goma baratas en una tienda de enfrente y las usamos para pasear por la habitación.
En cuanto a las obras municipales, hay obras justo enfrente de las habitaciones (ver foto), que empiezan a las 5-6 de la mañana y duran hasta la medianoche o la 1 de la madrugada. Cuando los obreros empezaron a transportar varillas a las dos de la mañana, se nos acabó la paciencia y pedimos que nos cambiaran de habitación. ¡Les desaconsejo encarecidamente las habitaciones del edificio B con vistas a la ciudad! Las obras están en pleno apogeo y acaban de empezar una nueva justo ahí, ¡así que el ruido es insoportable! Y no se trata solo de ”algunas molestias de la obra”; Interfieren seriamente con nuestro descanso.
Cómo nos cambiaron de habitación: Fuimos a recepción porque no nos quedaríamos un par de noches, sino dos semanas. El joven buscó algo frenéticamente en su tableta, se rascó la cabeza y nos ofreció una habitación en el Edificio A por 300 $ más... Primero, no necesitábamos el Edificio A, y segundo, ya habíamos comprobado si había habitaciones disponibles en el Edificio B, pero en otra parte del edificio, con vistas al patio. Pero resulta que no hay habitaciones, y por 300 $ más nos cambiarán :) Además, a una pareja ya le habían dado una habitación superior en el Edificio A completamente gratis. 😂 Decidimos esperar a otro turno, y esa noche había mujeres en recepción y nos dieron una habitación superior con vistas al patio sin coste adicional (ver foto).
La impresión del personal es de 2/10; parece que la mayoría odia su trabajo, igual que los huéspedes de este hotel. 😂
Si estás considerando este hotel para una estancia larga, como hicimos nosotros durante dos semanas, ten en cuenta lo anterior. Lo recomiendo únicamente por su ubicación, pero como hotel vacacional, no lo recomiendo.»

«El hotel South China fue una experiencia regular. Lo mejor es su ubicación: a solo unos pasos estás en la playa. A menos de 50 metros.
En cuanto al servicio, el desayuno es bastante pobre en opciones occidentales. ¡La mantequilla es en realidad margarina! Y aparte del tocino, ¡no hay nada más occidental! Otro punto a considerar son los idiomas: ¡olvídate del inglés! Hay chino y ruso.
Nuestra habitación estaba justo al lado de una enorme máquina industrial al aire libre que hacía ruido las 24 horas. Intenta dormir con esa máquina justo al lado.
Además, nuestra habitación tenía moho en la pared.
La piscina es bastante pequeña para el tamaño del hotel.
Nuestra habitación se anuncia como ”Elegante habitación con vistas al jardín”. Bueno, no es elegante ni tiene vistas al jardín; es solo una habitación.»

Lee VinncentWe stayed 2 nights. The counter staff were friendly and able to help us in our queries on where to eat and shop. Housekeeping was polite and greeted us whenever they meet us in the corridor. The room was fine and voice activated which was great as we can instruct it to open the curtains and adjust the curtains. The view was great with the ceiling to floor windows. Overall the experience was a pleasant one.

研修丸Las aguas termales, uno de los atractivos de este hotel, eran simplemente increíbles. Las aguas termales alcalinas (pH 8,9) dejaron mi piel increíblemente suave. Aunque hay habitaciones más económicas solo con ducha, sin duda recomiendo reservar una con bañera. La lavandería también es gratuita y, conectándose a WeChat, puede consultar cuándo estará lista su ropa. Además, es muy práctico para pasar por Haikou; el hotel es la última parada del autobús lanzadera desde el aeropuerto, con salidas matutinas a las 6:30.

La ubicación es conveniente, con la calle Qilou Old Street a sólo 20 minutos.

Tingmuheyun¡Esta estancia fue absolutamente fantástica! La casa de huéspedes era aún más exquisita y acogedora que en las fotos, con una atención al detalle por parte del propietario evidente en cada rincón. La habitación estaba limpia y ordenada, la ropa de cama era cómoda y dormí profundamente toda la noche. La ubicación también era muy conveniente, tranquila pero a la vez bien situada. Lo que más me sorprendió fue el trato cálido y acogedor del propietario; siempre estuvo dispuesto a ayudar e incluso nos ofreció sugerencias de viaje muy útiles. Ya se la he recomendado a mis amigos, ¡y sin duda me alojaré aquí de nuevo la próxima vez! La persona encargada de la limpieza, Xiao Hu, fue muy considerada y nos esperó en la puerta media hora antes para enseñarnos la casa.

Ambiente: Lo que más me gusta es el diseño de la habitación que pedí. ¡Es tan cálido y romántico que puedo disfrutar de la vista al mar mientras veo la proyección y la suave cama! La cama está hecha de yeso y está muy limpia. ¡Es muy amigable para las personas como yo que tienen muchas cosas y les gusta dejarlas afuera!
Higiene: Los B&B son básicamente de un blanco puro, por lo que es fácil resaltar el estado higiénico. Sin embargo, ¡esta casa no tiene ningún defecto! ¡Realmente limpio! Debido a que hay una playa abajo, muchos invitados regresaron de la playa y ensuciaron mucho el piso blanco, pero la señora de la limpieza lo limpió de manera muy oportuna.
Servicio: ¡Otro punto clave! ¡Proporcionan fotografías de viajes! Fue tomada en el último piso y obtuve 3 fotos originales gratis. El fotógrafo fue tan bueno que no pude evitar comprar algunas más, jaja.

FAYNAAAWe had a wonderful stay at Hampton by Hilton Old Qilou Street and would highly recommend it to families and Muslim travellers visiting Haikou.
The hotel staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly throughout our stay. We especially appreciated their assistance in helping us order halal food through *******.
For Muslim travellers, there is no need to worry about food options. A halal restaurant is located about a 10-minute walk from the hotel within the Old Qilou Street area. The food was delicious, affordable, and easily accessible.
The hotel’s location is fantastic. Within just a few minutes’ walk, there are plenty of shops, restaurants, souvenir stores, toy shops, and clothing stores. Everything you need is conveniently located within 5–7 minutes from the hotel, making it a great base for exploring the area. Convenient stores also located right beside the lobby. There’s a massive wholesale building for clothes just right next door!
We were also delighted that the hotel provides kids’ amenities, which was a thoughtful touch and made our family stay even more comfortable.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much and would gladly return in the future. Thank you to the team for your warm hospitality and excellent service!

Don’t let the older exterior fool you — the inside of the hotel is surprisingly modern, comfortable, and well maintained.
We booked the family-friendly kids’ room, which was absolutely adorable and came with an extra bed for our 6-year-old. The room was very spacious and even included a separate play/mahjong area, complete with a cute little tent that our child loved.
The room itself was very clean, and the city view from the windows was beautiful, especially at night. We took a video tour of the room, so some of the screenshots may appear slightly blurry.
The hotel also has a small kids’ playroom on the first floor, which is really cute and a great bonus for families.
The staff were extremely friendly and responsive, especially the front desk team and Xiao Liang. They answered all my questions thoroughly and were very helpful. On our last night, I needed to use the laundry room but had trouble figuring out the machine settings. Even though it was late, a staff member came upstairs very quickly and patiently showed me how to use the washing machine — excellent service.
The location is another big plus. People’s Park is right next to the hotel, and we enjoyed walking there every morning to see locals exercising and socializing. There are also many malls and shopping centers nearby, all within walking distance, making it easy and fun to explore and window shop.
We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Haikou.

千万不要被酒店外观略显陈旧的建筑迷惑，酒店内部其实非常新、舒适，而且维护得很好。
我们预订的是亲子家庭房，房间非常可爱，还为我们 6 岁的孩子准备了加床。房间空间很大，另外还有一个独立的娱乐/麻将区域，里面有一个小帐篷，孩子特别喜欢。
房间整体非常干净，从窗户可以看到城市景观，尤其是晚上，夜景非常漂亮。我们拍了房间的视频介绍，所以截图可能会稍微有点模糊。
酒店一楼还有一个小型儿童游乐区，布置得很可爱，对带孩子的家庭来说是一个很贴心的加分项。
酒店的工作人员都非常友好、响应迅速，尤其是前台的几位小姐姐和工作人员小梁。他们耐心、详细地解答了我所有的问题，服务非常周到。我们入住的最后一晚需要使用洗衣房，但我不太会操作洗衣机。虽然已经很晚了，工作人员还是很快上楼，亲自教我如何使用洗衣机，服务真的非常贴心。
地理位置也非常棒。酒店旁边就是人民公园，我们每天早上都会去公园散步，看当地人锻炼身体、休闲聊天，氛围非常有生活气息。周边还有很多商场和购物中心，步行就能到，非常适合逛街和随意探索。
下次再来海口，我们一定还会选择住在这里。
