The original member of staff that checked me in was extremely unprofessional. We were a family that came to visit with all permanent residents cards ( Green Cards ) and the way it was handled with very unprofessional. 1. The hotel should be aware that they don’t need to photocopy permanent residents cards as we are treated the same as local ID cards. The manager needs to train staff. I appreciate it’s rare to see but it wasn’t handle correctly. We have done amazing things for the country, China - and to be treated like this was disgraceful. One woman who helped us to our room, she was totally amazing! She was very professional- she understood professionalism and great customer service. We won’t ever forget such a wonderful woman. The hospitality industry is very important- every detail counts. However the negative impact can last a lifetime. I would like to thank the wonderful woman at this hotel and I truly hope you become manager of this place so you can show some staff members how to treat customers.

Overall, this hotel is reasonable. But, here are suggestions for improvement: 1) The air conditioning can be improved. It seems to be centrally controlled, and lowest temperature is about 25C, which is not cold enough, especially during summer. 2) Breakfast is very skimpy. Not much choices, despite advertising that it also has Western breakfast. 3) Hotel staff can be trained to be more knowledgeable about tourist attractions in Jiayuguan.

Atour es la primera opción de viaje de nuestra familia. Esta vez, cuando fuimos a Tianshui, fue más cómodo tomar un taxi desde la estación de trenes de alta velocidad a las 11 de la noche. La habitación era grande, estaba bien equipada, tenía cuatro botellas de agua y un cómodo aire acondicionado. A mi madre le gustó mucho la almohada de látex de Atour. Pedí otra botella de agua en la recepción por la mañana y me la trajeron inmediatamente. Cuando hice el check out, la recepción me envió dos botellas más. Gracias.

Pasamos una agradable estancia de 3 noches en este hotel. La recepcionista (mención especial a Thien Lee) nos ayudó con muchas cosas durante nuestra estancia, ya que el idioma puede ser un obstáculo aquí. Esto incluyó organizarnos un tour que resultó más económico que contratar DiDi. Además, pudimos ver dos sitios en lugar de uno solo, el que originalmente teníamos previsto visitar. Estamos muy agradecidos por ello. El hotel también ofreció desayuno y nos atendieron muy bien. Man Ronghua (camarera) atendió todas nuestras peticiones de comida, ya que solo podemos pedir comida halal. La comida a la carta también estaba deliciosa. El hotel estaba limpio, era espacioso y muy cómodo. Sin duda, volveríamos.

Comfortable room, a good size with blackout curtains. The hotel is an easy walking distance from the train station no matter how much luggage you have. Free laundry facilities. Reception staff were friendly and helpful, happy to answer questions and assist with bookings and locating various services around town. The only negative is breakfast. Both days I was there one or more of the bread products were stale. Paper cups are provided for cold drinks (which seems needlessly wasteful) the one morning I tried, the orange juice was flavorless and watered down- it tasted like when you refill a juice bottle with water. The shape of the seating area is also unfortunate. There are two corners where people seem to appear out of nowhere and both days I encountered numerous children running and who absolutely should not have been allowed to bring their scooters in to the breakfast area (not the mobility kind) making carrying hot drinks and plates of food dangerous and unpleasant. Definitely recommended, just skip breakfast!

The hotel is well located in city center and provides complimentary pick up/drop off service from train station. There is a direct bus which goes to mogao caves right in front the hotel- making self transport a breeze. Room is spacious and nicely designed with a large bath tub. Apart from the hotel hardware, what really stood out was the extra mile services offered by the staff. There are 2 staff who really shine. Firstly, Ms tong tong （彤彤）was very patient in explaining all the touristy sites around and how to get there. She helped us book performance tickets so we could enjoy some discounts. When we enquired about transfer to liu yuan, she not only checked for all the information online for us but also personally went to the bus station to find a driver who goes to liuyuan. We're so impressed with her extra mile service!! Really kudos to her great personality and service. Next staff to mention is Mr li (李师傅）who picked us up at the train station. He suggested some dining places to us and offered to drop us off at mogao caves when we bumped into him at the hotel lobby. Overall, highly recommend to stay at this hotel.

The room is great, although this time we had an issue with the morning to the airport service. We arrived on time at 6:20am and there was no room in the shuttle that was scheduled. It’s very stressful to wake up early and make sure you don’t miss a flight, and they clearly overbooked the shuttle, even though we specifically arranged this the night before. A rude family pushed past us too and the hotel staff didn’t really communicate what was going on. I appreciate the hospitality during the stay, but guests shouldn’t have to worry about missing a flight from rude other guests and miss-counted shuttles.

El servicio es bueno, el personal del hotel es muy entusiasta. La habitación también vive muy cómoda, se ha actualizado la habitación y la vista es muy buena. La salida es buena, se puede tomar el autobús en la antigua ciudad, hay un tractor al lado del hotel, se recomienda que Tianwater se quede aquí, pertenece al hotel local de alta calidad. El desayuno también es rico y tiene unas características locales. Además, puede lavarse gratis, lo que es importante en el viaje.

Satisfecho en general. La habitación es bastante grande y está limpia. El servicio fue muy bueno. El desayuno solo ofrece opciones chinas; hay pan y café, pero no se considera desayuno occidental. Como es Dunhuang, no esperábamos mucho y estuvo bien para unos días. Lo único que no nos gustó fue la ducha y la luz puntual del baño. El flujo de agua de la ducha era correcto, pero la temperatura cambiaba constantemente y no se podía ajustar a la temperatura adecuada. Algo importante que debo mencionar: no aceptaron mi tarjeta VISA internacional. Tuve suerte porque tenía una tarjeta Union Pay.

Vino a Dunhuang para ver el hotel seleccionado para la evaluación, el hotel está en el patio de su casa en otoño, el servicio del hotel y el entorno son excelentes de primer nivel, el jefe de la recepción también ha actualizado la habitación con mucha amplitud, todos los empleados están muy entusiasmados y el servicio está en el lugar. Y la actitud de servicio del maestro de recepción gratis es excelente. La ubicación del hotel es también muy buena, muy cerca del mercado nocturno, al lado es la calle de la comida, donde vaya, es muy conveniente para ir a la cocina, los lechos del hotel son muy cómodos, el calentamiento del suelo, el control del pequeño control inteligente de la casa también es muy conveniente, muy satisfactoria una experiencia de estadía.
