Yunshuiyao Scenic Area
We stayed in Floral Luxury.1949 Guesthouse for 1 night. We booked Mufan room located on the ground floor as i am travelling with my elderly mom and carrying heavy luggage bags. The guesthouse butler will contact you the night before your arrival to add them to Wechat for easy communication. They will share their hotel location and offer pick-up service at the train station if required. Access to Yunshuiyao town is RMB90 perpax and free for those aged above 65 years old. Yunshuiyao is a scenic town area with 3 km long (2 - 3 hours walk). We hired a chinese speaking guide to accompany us to explain the history of Huaiyan building (square tulou), Hegui building (round tulou), and the town area. It cost RMB100. The guesthouse is located inside Yunshuiyao town, behind the shop houses, in-between waterwheel and 2 trees (named as husband and wife) aged above 670 years old. When we reached there at 2.30 pm, it was raining. The hotel staff immediately came out with an umbrella to pick us up and assist with the luggage. The check-in is fast, and the access to the room is by password, which they will share in Wechat. Checkout is also very easy. The hotel offered free fruits twice a day, afternoon and evening. The basic bathroom essentials are complete, and they also provide bathrobes. The bed and pillows are very comfortable for a good night sleep. Luckily the aircond can change to warm mode as it was very cold on raining day. There's a mini kids playground for children's. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast set come with porridge and soya drink. Can topup if needed more. The in-house restaurant provides lunch & dinner with a la carte chinese foods menu. The sky brightens at 5 am, while the sun rises high at 6.45am. If you are able to wake up early, this is the best time for you to revisit the town and tulou surrounding area for nice photos and cool breeze as only local people around. There's a roadside stall selling super long youtiao (equal to size of 2 youtiao) located near the stone bridge not far from guesthouse. The whole Yunshuiyao town is covered with natural peebles pathway. Wear suitable shoes as it will be very slippery during the rainy day.

Cuando llegue el Día Nacional, necesita 1500, ahora es la temporada de otoño 500, la habitación es mejor que se imaginaba, 45 cuadrados, muy cómodo, la recepción ha actualizado la habitación del lago, la disposición de la habitación es razonable, la televisión es aproximadamente 65 pulgadas, puede escribir pantalla, los robots pueden vender, comer y beber menos alrededor, Pero el pequeño auto blanco tiene un descanso en la puerta, básicamente como se llama, va a unos pocos famosos autos blancos casi 15 minutos, se queda para enviar cupón de queso, se deja de enviar agua de la tienda, y la recepción tiene dulces de café. El desayuno tiene pan de ropa, torta de cacahuete y sopa de pimientos, estos lugares de Fujian son famosos, el sabor es bueno, no hay muchas variedades, pero puede comer cacahuete. Sugerencia: ¡La máquina de café con cocina es mejor y más higiénica, al fin y al cabo, el agua caliente no es muy valiente ahora! No hay ningún remolque en la habitación y se utilizan repetidamente, no es higiénica, y luego preguntó a la tía de Pawnee que sabía que había un remolque unilateral. Los dientes son demasiado simples para tener miedo de romper. La obesidad puede ser reemplazada por lavado de manos más saneado.

Disappointed by the hotel, ok with the hot springs We spent a night there to enjoy the hot springs. It wasn't very clear in the beginning that the Huiya hotsprings were actually within the hotel's building. The only way to reach the facility is by taxi because even if there are buses (only one line 331) they come once in a while. It was difficult to get back to the city, we had to walk to the little town and wait bus and also keep calling a didi which eventually came... The service at the reception wasn't as good as should be. They couldn't even find the reservation I made, just because it was a foreigner name. No English at all, which I can understand but even communicating in chinese wasn't that smooth. The room was average, honestly we were expecting much better quality, the TV was old and small, no movies, nothing. There was mildew in on the wall. We were expecting to go to the gym as the facility said was available on the description but no open gym, we couldn't even find it, the reception guys didn't even know where it was located. We thought we could have free or discounted access to the hot springs (considered the price of one night!!) but just a slightly lower price. The hotsprings were ok, honestly we were expecting a bit of variety of baths like with aromas or oils.. But no, just water and 2 different temperatures. Differences were in size and temperature. One bath was bigger with a stone bed to relax. No free snacks or drinks (except water but no cups in every water dispenser), even if the service book in the room said there were available. Every thing was to pay. No other meal included besides breakfast. We tried to have dinner, the menu was only in chinese and no many options available. So we had to go to the town to find food. Breakfast was the best part, very rich and complete. The only really good thing we found there. Overall relaxing days and night, but for thw price we paid we could have had a better service experience. Also for the hotsprings, I visited better and cheaper ones elsewhere. I wouldn't recommend it, I would stay to another nearby facility and come only for the hotsprings

From the moment I entered, I was impressed by the immaculate cleanliness of my room. It was not only tidy but also well-maintained, creating a welcoming atmosphere that made my stay incredibly comfortable. One of the standout features of my stay was the complimentary laundry service. This thoughtful amenity made my trip even more convenient, allowing me to refresh my wardrobe without any hassle. It’s a fantastic perk, especially for travelers who are on the go or attending conferences. Additionally, I thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast offered at the hotel. The variety and quality of the food were impressive, providing a delightful start to each day. I also appreciated the gym facilities, which were practical and useful for maintaining my fitness routine while traveling. It had everything I needed for a good workout, making it easy to stay active during my stay. Another unique aspect of the Mercure Hotel is the innovative use of robots to deliver food orders from ** (Meituan) directly to your room. This modern touch added a fun and convenient element to my experience, making it easy to enjoy delicious meals without leaving my room. Lastly, the hotel features a designated space for pick-ups and drop-offs, which was incredibly convenient for my travel arrangements. It made coming and going a breeze, allowing me to focus on my activities without any stress. there are mall nearby within 2KM and it’s so cheap and convenient to just didi anywhere from here. FYI during winter most hotels in china does not have air conditioning, here offer both air conditioning and heater, which is a must for me. Overall, I highly recommend the Mercure Hotel for anyone visiting Xiamen. The combination of a clean, comfortable room, delicious breakfast, practical gym, innovative delivery service, and excellent amenities like free laundry makes it a top choice for both business and leisure travelers. I look forward to returning on my next visit!

A peaceful place to chill and relax. Very pretty, clean, modern interior and nice smelling room. Fruits, drinks and yoghurt are complimentary in every room. Within the room, it is spacious! They even offer us washing machine (equipped with detergent) in every room so we may wash our laundry. Exterior has been nicely designed too. Love the deco around the common area like the reading corner, tea table. Breakfast is quite good though it’s the same for both days we were there. Manager nicely upgraded one of our room as it was off peak season. Found out they have another branch in Yun Shi Yao. Perhaps can consider staying there and this for 2 different nights to experience different locations with hopefully similar level of standards.

El restaurante está justo enfrente del Civil Aviation Yunxiang Express. Va al aeropuerto cada media hora y cuesta 31 yuanes. Hay una estación de autobuses en la planta baja del hotel. Es muy conveniente ir a varias atracciones. En el lado izquierdo de la calle cuando sales, hay un comedor número 㐅 al lado. No recuerdo qué comedor es. Los materiales son frescos, el ambiente dentro del restaurante es higiénico y el precio no es caro. Viajamos por nuestra cuenta y elegimos el hotel adecuado. El hotel también ofrece té blanco, baya de goji, dátiles rojos y crisantemo.

La relación precio/rendimiento es muy alta. Hay Anping Plaza y Luckin Coffee cerca del hotel. La habitación es bastante grande y limpia. También hay muchas especialidades locales de Fuzhou. Comida deliciosa cerca del hotel y puedes visitarlo. El servicio brindado por Shanshan en la recepción también fue muy atento y entusiasta, y quedé muy satisfecho. Además, nos gustaría agradecer a los dos chefs que nos recogieron y nos dejaron. El servicio fue realmente bueno.

At first, we were disappointed because they put us into a small room that we felt was not worth the price we paid for. However, the next day they upgraded our room into a nice one with a separate toilet and shower area. There were wide windows and the view was the quiet road below and two small mountains in the distance. Not bad eh! This was the time we started feeling comfortable and relaxed in our 4 nights of stay here. The bed and pillows were firm and very good to sleep in. Good for relaxing after a long day of touring or working. There was a small dining table as well as some space or area to work and put your other stuff. The toilet is fully automated so it was really comfortable to use. The staff in general were accommodating and the female receptionist manning the lobby was always enthusiastic and helpful. On the other hand, location is far from downtown so it might cost you a bit more if you take the didi often. Also, breakfast fare was sparse when we were there, probably because it was still the tourist season. Not sure though but for whatever reason, when we got to the breakfast nook at around 8am, most of the food was gone. We had to wait for about 30 min for some trays to be refilled with food while the rest simply remained empty. If you don’t like local breakfast, then this hotel’s breakfast is not for you. Overall, it was a pleasant stay for us.

El personal es amable y agradable y el desayuno es muy agradable, con diferentes tipos de platos. . Sin embargo, las instalaciones son relativamente viejas. La función de aire acondicionado normalmente, pero la temperatura ambiente permaneció a 25 mientras que nos fijamos a 21.

I decided to change to this hotel last minute. No regrets with my decision. The hotel is very beautiful and unique. My room is just right close to the beautiful garden with a lot of plants. This is a 4 star hotel as listed in Gulangsu. I am so impressed, and keep repeating to my family about the hotel staff's best service. They help answer quite a lot of questions before our arrival. They helped me book the visit to Ba Gua Lou, I knew I needed to book in advance that's why I had no plan to visit it by right. Special thanks to the butler, 泡芙 and the young guy 小陈, the 5 star service they provided during our stay. 泡芙 fetched us at piano dock. She also helped us take the family pictures and my cheong sam pictures. Honestly she spent a lot of time that day just because of our photo session. The 2nd night was so cold, she helped serve the high tea set to our room instead, that was our first time to have high tea at night time. Hahah. 小陈 is a very polite and meticulous young guy, he suggest me the itinerary of the sight seeing spot. While he talked to me, he never forgot to serve me a cup of drink. That evening me and my girl dressed up in the Chinese costume, my right hand held the long dress and my left hand held two thick winter wears, he saw we stepped in then quickly helped to carry the winter wear. After check out he helped us carry the stuff to the piano dock too. I love this island. I love this hotel, it makes me feel as warm as home. I wish I can back here again. If you have plan to visit this island with your family, YiJu hotel, highly recommended!
