I’ve stayed at these apartments a few times because of the stunning. This apartment was on level 63 facing out towards the city and Riverside. The apartments is stunning. It has a full kitchen, and laundry with a modern bathroom. Separate bedroom. Both the bedroom and the lounge have have amazing views of the city and river this apartment. Your site parking is $45.
L'arrivée s'est très bien passée, les chambres sont propres et les lits sont confortables (si vous aimez bien les matelas pas durs) pour ma part, j'ai très bien dormi.
Grande piscine avec l'eau plutôt salée, belle terrasse et de nombreux choix de plats si on a envie de manger quelque chose sans aller trop loin.
Le personnel est disponible et sympa! Merci et peut être à bientôt :)

We stayed here for 3 nights. The room was ok but during our stay, no one came and clean up and we asked to change the towels only and the housekeeper seemed like she wasn't happy. When we checked in, the staff at the reception didn't give us any information on when to check out or information about the hostel because my application showed that I could check out until 5 pm, luckily I was asking. We don't ask for any special treatment but just the basic thing that we should've known. We've stayed at YHA Sydney Harbour and the staff were friendlier. Not that bad but not that good though.
El hotel es excelente y muy recomendable! ¡Afortunadamente estamos dispuestos a quedarnos en una habitación de esquina con vista panorámica! La única interrupción es el desayuno... que está mezclado con los otros dos hoteles y por debajo del estándar esperado.

Beautiful hotel, personally think our room was in need of a deep clean. There were dirty marks on outside of bath tub and grout needs a scrub, and a good vac under the bed which I noticed when I dropped something and went looking for it. I understand it’s hectic to keep up with , but when you pay good money for a night, you just want your room to be as clean as your own home. Room 714.

We stayed in the 2 Bed Family Villa at Chinchilla Motor Inn and couldn’t have been happier. The villa was modern, spotless, and very comfortable — everything felt fresh and well maintained. The location is excellent, convenient yet quiet, making it perfect for families.
What truly impressed us, though, was the amazing service. Our daughter accidentally left her beloved Kindle behind, and the staff went above and beyond to help. They carefully packed it in a bubble-wrap envelope and posted it back to us free of charge, even though we offered to cover the cost and their time. It arrived safely, and we’re so grateful for their kindness and honesty.
It’s rare to find such genuine hospitality these days. We’d highly recommend Chinchilla Motor Inn to anyone — fantastic facilities and even better people!

It’s a really nice place to stay with family. We booked two bedroom suite and it was great. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We used laundry facilities as well. A word of caution - dryer permanent press cycle makes clothing really really hot - don’t burn yourself. They have complimentary coffee and sometimes little muffins as well. Our flight out of Cairns got cancelled and so I emailed to request a room for extra night, but didn’t get response so booked another hotel. It’s far from the coast, board walk etc but close to one of Indian restaurants in town.

The hotel room was clean, spacious, and clearly recently renovated. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We were able to store our luggage safely in a locked baggage room. The hotel grounds are beautiful, with clean and very attractive pool areas surrounded by lush plants. In the early evening, you can even see fruit bats flying over the property, which adds a special touch to the atmosphere. The hotel is a bit further away from the city centre, but only 15min from the airport.
Place is amazing clean , fresh and of high standard .
But when it comes to booking and service this is another story .. for the money I paid to stay 2 night I thought this would be the perfect place to rest I’m 5 star style .. place yes , service a disaster. Firstly when I arrived at Swiss bel .. I went to reception to book in as I booked online a queen bed room he asked if I had a vehicle I said yes agreed to the $35 a night and he said he would just take it out of the bond I paid at end if that was ok I said yes perfect .. when I got up to my room it was 2 single I called reception and advised I had booked a queen bed and there is 2 singles he said oh the house keeper hadn’t changed the beds or didn’t look at booking , I asked if someone could just come up and fix .. he said there is noone to do this now come down and j will find another room for you . I went down stairs said I would go get something to eat and when I come back hopefully a room will be sorted. I came back he advised me that he had upgraded me and I asked if I could have the new key and I will switch rooms and come back down with the other key to save me bringing my luggage down and then back up again. I got to room and key didn’t work to go to 6th floor . So I brought my luggage down and told reception that key didn’t work . He said sometimes this happens with those keys /actually quite often said he would come up with me and check . Yes card did not work so he used his staff card to let me in said he would fix and come back . He came back 10mins later to test and it had been foxed . Not sure what the upgrade as as room was smaller than the first , had no shower gel (was empty container when I went into have a shower) thought it may have been replenished on next day with room
Clean still empty on second day and cleaner took face washers and never replaced them so I washed with shampoo and a hand towel .. when I came back on second day went to put card into open the car park and it didn’t work .. I went to reception to let them know I was trying to get into car park and the card doesn’t work, she (Asian lady) advised me that I hadn’t paid for parking .. I had to explain everything from the night before then asked me they will take it out of my bind I said yes that’s what I agreed with the night before . No apology just more interested in getting payment for parking. She added parking to

I later received a phone call from a lady called Theresa asking how my stay was and I explain that it has been the most disappointing experience I have had ever ! Explained the above she said she would come and replace the shower gel and face washers I said it’s ok I have already had my shower used a hand towel and shampoo because I’m already in bed .. she said that I hope that my stay apologetic on my experience already , I hope it is better from now and if I need anything to contact her and ask for Theresa I said thank you I appreciated the call … then then 10
Minutes later she comes knocking on my door I have to get dress to answer the door she knocks again I said I’m coming
She is at the door with the shower gel and face washers getting me out of bed . I understand why she brought it but I told her I was in bed and I had already showered . So then I go to hand my key in to check out to be told I have outstanding parking I need to pay .. I advised Theresa that it is coming out of the bond payed and this has been told now to 3 people .. as I said place is absolutely fantastic.. apart from missing shower gel and tissues

KKakoeGreat location with an easy walk to the beach, central Surfers Paradise, and access to the tram to other parts of the Gold Coast. The apartment was clean with an excellent bathroom and shower. The towels were great too - new and fluffy.
The furniture in my room was dated, the mattress was old, uncomfortable, and should have been replaced a decade ago, and the apartment lacked any style or decor. I'm not sure if it was just my apt #910 but it didn't look like the online pictures.
Overall it served its purpose but was fairly uncomfortable and drab.

UUsuario invitadoIt was a bit painful from the get go checking in. You have to go to a different hotel a block over. There is nowhere to park to check in. I called the number to be put through to a call centre that isn’t on site.
Call 1: yes you can park in the visitor parking just buzz and they’ll let you in.
Call 2: while blocking the driveway I’m unable to find a buzzer that reaches reception. Operator sounds confused, I hang up and someone is coming out so I sneak in.
Call 3: I’m parked in visitor parks, go up the lift and come out at another building. She again sounds confused. If I go out the door I won’t be able to get back in without a fob, so I’m asking which way I should go. There are no signs to tell me how to get to Ivy and Eve apartments. I eventually find a worker who takes me around to reception. Sorted. Or so I think.
I check in with reception. The girl was really lovely and informative. So I think, until I reach the carpark of the next building I’m staying at. The sheet of paper she gave me says “your allocated car space is 131 and is located on 55. I drive in looking for level 55, car space 131. Neither of these exist.
Call 4: Where is my carpark? Am I missing something. Keep in mind every time I call I’m asked to give all my details so they can verify my booking so by now I’m pretty tired of it all. She finds my booking and says oh yes you’re in park 55 on level B1. (See photo for why I was confused!)
I drive around the carpark looking for a 55. It doesn’t exist. All carparks are labelled with a sign saying Art house and 4 numbers. Ok maybe it’s the last 2? Nope doesn’t exist. After driving around for a bit I realise there are numbers on the ground of the carpark that are completely different to the signs (I didn’t look at the ground because the signs said art house)
So finally I work out that this is my park. Another confused guest stops to ask me where his park might be and I explain it’s the floor ones not the art house signs. So I wasn’t the only one.
Ok so park the car, go upstairs to room 1106 which of course is on floor 10. Makes sense lol. As soon as I open the door I’m hit with a wet musty kind of smell. Like the place had been flooded and not allowed to dry out properly maybe? I opened all the windows and when that didn’t work I went and bought some air freshener to hide the smell a bit.
We left all the doors open all night and next day and the smell improved. The lounge chairs are not comfy if you’re looking for a stay in watch Netflix type staycay, but the beds are really comfy. The place was pretty immaculately clean so that was nice. And washer dryer were great to have.
If I had have known I’d need to go through all that checkin at another building I would not have booked. Maybe I missed the part that mentioned this? Ahh well we enjoyed our stay in general, it just didn’t get off to a good start.

UUsuario invitadoThe Mantra Hotel has outstanding location. It is directly in front of the Woolworths supermarket - the best option in central Cairns. It's also virtually opposite (the esplanade side)the lagoon public beachfront swimming pool. Finally it's just a 5 minute walk from Cairns Cruise Terminal, with outstanding day trips to Green Island, Fitzroy Island and the Reef. I booked a sea view room. When you enter the room, you don't see the ocean, but a building across the road. However, the view from the balcony was amazing. The balcony overlooks the main features of lagoon on the sea front. During the day it is great view - the lagoon pools and sea in the background. At night you cannot see the sea (as to be expected) but you have the amazing lagoon lights, which makes it very desirable and even romantic. Our room was at the end of block, which overlooks a shopping mall (no car noise) - looking right from the balcony is the lagoon view and looking left is a mountain view. However, from 2:00pm to 6:00pm the sun comes directly into the balcony area, which means it unusable until sun sets. Of course if you don't mind baking in the sun on the balcony, this is not really a concern. The room itself is pretty basic. The mini fridge of OK and TV has domestic channels only - no cable TV for BBC/CNN. The bathroom is of a good size. There is combined shower & bath. However, when using the shower, it can slightly flood this bathroom. A shower curtain may be desirable because the glass panel is not sufficient enough. At $225 per night this hotel was not cheap and you can better deals by coming in the off-season OR going bit further down the esplanade, and choosing another hotel. The Mantra does have its own pool and it is wonderfully heated, with normal deck chairs you would expect at 4 star hotel. However, the pool gets very little natural sunlight, because it of its location between 2 buildings. Overall, the hotel has amazing location, and it is still recommended, despite the shortcomings mentioned. My final note: When we checked in, I was impressed with the level of service provided by the receptionist. She had a very welcome attitude and a wonderful personality.

Please note the lift is currently under construction so you may need to use the stairs, the stairs are not suitable for children as they have horizontal rails with large gaps. The restraunts buffet looked like it had a decent selection but we did not have it as it was $16each our two and three year olds.
