El estadío en el Shangri La Al Husn Muscat ha sido uno de los puntos destacados de nuestro tiempo en Oriente Medio. Decidimos ir a mi cumpleaños de mis novias y el equipo trabajaba excepcionalmente bien conmigo para dar una experiencia inolvidable. El hotel está muy bien situado, pero no es muy fácil llegar a la ciudad. El desayuno incluyente fue maravilloso y el horno del menú se aseguró de que todo lo que ordenó se mantuvo fresco. El desayuno y el servicio de habitaciones se destacan porque le permitió aprovechar plenamente la habitación y con los calefactores incorporados en la mesa de cenas se aseguró que la comida se quemó. El valor de dinero en la cena en la habitación fue decepcionante cuando un hamburguesa ordenó y los frijoles vinieron con una pequeña cantidad de frijoles, sin embargo, que fue fijado con nuestra próxima orden. El té de la tarde fue delicioso, destacando el queso y el melocotone y las escons. Las bebidas de la hora feliz también se incluyeron y siempre vinieron con un sofá sorpresa del restaurante. Beautifully designed property, new so everything is sparkling clean and it has been constructed to a very high standard. All the staff were really nice and friendly, the hotel was very quiet. It’s located on a quiet beach, with a nice promenade to walk/jog along and a few restaurants along there too. A couple of cons- our bath didn’t hold water so wasn’t useable (it was leaking water). While we are also completely aware that it is an important religious celebration, the pool area was basically a construction site the day before Ramadan while they drilled in decorations- this could have been done a bit more thoughtfully rather than with workmen there (and drilling) throughout the day.

No tengo quejas reales, eso sería culpa del establecimiento. Era mi Ramadán y definitivamente mi culpa por no haber investigado más a fondo. El hotel está en el medio de la nada o al menos eso es lo que sentí. La comida era bastante buena, aunque un poco cara. Como era Ramadán, las opciones eran escasas o nulas fuera del hotel durante ciertas horas. Diré que el personal fue muy agradable y más que amable. En nuestra última mañana salimos del hotel alrededor de las 5 a. m. Nos dieron un desayuno completo, preparado a pedido, y bebidas para llevar. Lo que pensé que sería un bagel y jugo fue una comida completa de huevos (cocinados según lo solicitado), avena y fruta fresca y algo más.

Disappointing week in a disappointing hotel. From the moment we landed in Oman, the intercontinental hotel was not helpful. When we asked for a taxi, they wouldn’t help us and we had to arrange ourselves. When we asked if we had a sea view, we were told “we had a partial sea view” which was actually a car park and a loud generator which rattled on all through the night. The generator was so loud we had to keep the balcony doors closed all the time. However, one night, even with the doors closed we were kept awake until 3am with loud bangs and clatters from hotel staff loading up vans with furniture after an event at the hotel. When we asked about booking the onsite restaurants, we were told they were all closed apart from the main one. Multiple times when we went to the main restaurant we were told it was too busy and we had to wait and come back later. When we did get into the restaurant, we often had to wait long times for food to be replaced or we given paper cups because they’d run out of glasses! When we tried to get the WiFi at the pool, there was none. When we tried to use the creams in the room, they’d run out. The staff were lovely and the food was nice but altogether, we didn’t feel looked after and definitely don’t feel this is a 5* hotel.

Good, clean hotel! Very near airport. Room service was good. Close enough to main road to try and get normal taxis. Really nice pool with a better than expected infinity pool and view. Really nothing much to complain if I just wanted a well priced, well sited, clean and adequate hotel with a bar, pool, and gym. Service apartments (what I stayed in) are more functional than the main rooms and have more space but puzzlingly, other than the dining table, there’s no study table or dresser or mirror in the bedroom which is a tad annoying as you can’t connect the hair dryer in the toilet for obvious reasons Aesthetic is somewhat sterile though. No interesting design motif and looks rather bland but that doesn’t affect me as much. There’s a bar there although the design, again, doesn’t leave one feeling as if it’s Friday night out.

It’s a very big hotel with apartments and hotels.right in the middle of the grand mall. Very convenient for eat drink and children arcade. Very close to the grand mosque. But taking 20 mins to drive to the old market. It’s a good value very clean super comfortable bed and good size room.

El paisaje del hotel es hermoso. Una vez que entramos, vi a los pequeños corderos que nos recibieron. Los niños juegan muy felizes. En general, no me siento bien. Los niños van a volver el mes próximo! ¡Es el parque infantil en la introducción del hotel no sé por qué no está abierto, un poco lamentable!

A new and trendy looking hotel in Muscat with a Great beautiful swimming pool. Conveniently located to the stunning Royal Opera House and Boulevard shopping/dining mall. Rooms and large and spacious with balconies and terraces. Staff is friendly and provide excellent service. Hotel has good selection of restaurants (steakhouse, excellent Chinese restaurant). The only drawback is lack of private beach, especially for those who prefer to swim in the sea.

Amazing time spent at the Ritz. Feeling like royalty as you step in as it was previously the Sultan’s palace. After a day of adventuring you feel as you’ve entered a haven of peace. The staff was helpful, elegant, and really trying to satisfy every need. They also have one of the best Chinese gastronomic restaurants I have tasted. My favorite amenities were available as they are supplied by Diptyque. Last but not least the location takes your breath away, from the poolside and beachside.
