I booked a room at Hilton Kota Kinabalu for my wedding celebration, and it was a great experience overall. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, perfect for getting ready and relaxing before the event. The interior felt modern and well-maintained, which added a nice touch to the whole wedding atmosphere. The staff were professional and helpful, always ready to assist with any requests, which made everything much smoother during such a busy time. The hotel environment was calm and pleasant, making it ideal for a special occasion like this. Overall, I’m really happy with the stay and would definitely recommend it for weddings or important events.

Viaje agradable y fácil para los turistas. La actividad marina y el salto de isla en isla son fáciles de realizar y la habitación del hotel es grande y limpia. Me dijeron que la habitación cerca de la piscina y el mar está completamente renovada y el personal me preguntó si quería mejorar. Estaba contento con Mountain View ya que realmente me quedé en la habitación y vi la vista desde allí.

This place seriously blew me away. Located above Imago mall and styled like a high-end hotel, the room felt ultra-luxurious from the moment I walked in. Yes, it’s on the pricier side — but you can see and feel where the money goes. Every detail screams premium: a Dyson hairdryer, thick and fluffy slippers, electronic blinds, touch-control lighting, and a stunning bathtub that instantly sets the mood for a relaxing stay. The design is sleek, modern, and Instagram-worthy in every corner. What truly sets this place apart is the generosity in amenities. Instead of the standard small bottled water, they provide 1500ml drinking water, plus free-flow drinking water and soft drinks to enjoy anytime. Even the Starbucks cups added a classy, thoughtful touch that made the stay feel extra special. On top of all that, parking is provided, making it incredibly convenient — especially with the mall right downstairs. This isn’t just a place to sleep — it’s an experience. If you love luxury, comfort, and those little details that make you say “wow”, this place absolutely delivers.

Had a great stay at Hyatt Regency Kota Kinabalu. The hotel is located in a very convenient area with lots of restaurants, cafes, malls, and the waterfront all within walking distance. Perfect location for sightseeing and food hunting. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable with a nice city/sea view. Staff were professional and friendly during check-in and throughout the stay. Breakfast selection was decent and the facilities were well maintained. Overall, it was a comfortable and relaxing stay. Would definitely recommend for both couples and families visiting Kota Kinabalu.

My daughter really enjoyed swimming here. She had so much fun and already said she wants to come back again! ☺️☺️ Hopefully we can bring her here again for another staycation in the future. It was a lovely experience for our family

Stayed for 3 days and 2 nights. The unit is suitable for two couples, a small family, or a group of four. The location is near town, which is very convenient. The owner is easy to communicate with. There is no deposit required upon check-in, and the check-in process is simple—just follow the given instructions. Check-out is also easy; just leave the key in the mailbox. The unit has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a small living room with a TV, and a small kitchen. A refrigerator is provided. The water heater works well, and there are 3 air conditioners. The TV has Netflix available, but you need to use your own account. The lift is fast and not crowded. For reference: Parking is paid parking — approximately RM3 for the first 2 hours, then RM1 for subsequent hours, up to a maximum of RM15 per day. There is no washing machine in the unit, but a laundry is available on the ground floor. Guests have access to the swimming pool. For Muslim guests: no sejadah (prayer mat) is provided, so please bring your own. Note: Hopefully, the owner can continue maintaining the unit to be more Muslim-friendly, as we would love to stay here again in the future. Thank you.

La habitación es realmente grande, es el último hotel de alta gama en Kota Kinabalu. La ubicación es muy buena, justo en diagonal frente al muelle de Jesston. One of the standout features of this hotel is the efficiency of the staff. The check-in and check-out processes were super fast, which is always appreciated after a long day of travel. Additionally, the hotel provides free parking, a major plus for those of us driving in KK where parking can often be a challenge. The accommodations were excellent. Both the room and the toilet were spotless, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout my stay. I also appreciated that they were generous with essentials—there was sufficient drinking water provided, so I never felt the need to constantly request more. Breakfast at the hotel was a pleasant experience. While the quality of the food was nice, I did find the variety a bit limited and hope they can provide more choices in the future to keep the buffet exciting. However, the absolute highlight of the morning was the fresh juice station. It is easily the best part of the breakfast service; you can request specific fruits, and the staff prepares the juice freshly for you right on the spot. It’s a personalized touch that really elevates the meal.

AMAZING!!!! The staff here! They are so unbelievably friendly and helpful. They truly made me feel so special and welcomed throughout my stay. Especially the ladies at breakfast and the guys at the door. I got the seaview room and that view was breathtaking! Front row seats to that sunset every day! The rooms are very clean and the beds and pillows are extremely comfortable, would 100% recommend if you’re looking for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The rooftop bar also has the best view of the sunset in my opinion. Breakfast was great, too- so much choice!

The honest review about this homestay is superb! We stayed here only 1 night and this homestay can accommodate up to 12 pax (adult + kids). The owner really helpful and answer all my questions during check in. This homestay facing with the spectacular view (golf resort & beach). Located above the Imago shopping mall, easy to find food too. Near to the homestay (around 1KM), we can buy souvenirs at Pasar Filipina (Anjung Kinabalu) and also eat seafood at Anjung Senja. I would like recommend this homestay to the others who will travel to Kota Kinabalu.
