It was a great experience to stay in this hotel! Very nice view and staff are very polite and willing to answer many questions. Outdoor area is very big that we could take bicycles with kids. Also there are kids outdoor playground that can spend whole day there. 

El entorno es precioso y el clima agradable. Las habitaciones son algo antiguas y el desayuno es normal. Si tomas la línea JR hasta Karuizawa, tendrás que hacer transbordo a un tren local hasta la estación Naka-Karuizawa para tomar el autobús lanzadera del hotel.

昨年、ホテル＆リゾートの方に宿泊し、とても良かったので今年は利便性を重視して旧軽井沢の方を選びました。 清潔感のある客室、行き届いた従業員の対応に非常に満足しています。 浴槽とシャワーブースの使い勝手があまり良くは有りませんが…大浴場があるので、まぁ許容範囲かと。（ちょっとシャワーを浴びたら洗面台の方まで洪水状態でした。シャワーの向きを気をつけないといけません。 総合的に見て大満足なので、また伺いたいと思います。 ありがとうございました！

From the moment we stepped into the lobby, we were enveloped by a warm and inviting ambiance that set the tone for the rest of our stay. Our room was a perfect sanctuary—spacious, meticulously clean, and adorned with subtle touches of Japanese artistry. The panoramic views of the Japanese Alps from our window were nothing short of breathtaking, especially when the mountains were bathed in the soft glow of sunrise. The traditional tatami flooring and comfortable futon bedding provided an authentic experience without sacrificing comfort. One of the standout features of Shoho is its exceptional onsen facilities. Soaking in the natural hot springs while gazing at the picturesque scenery was incredibly rejuvenating. The rotenburo (outdoor bath) offered a tranquil escape where the stresses of daily life simply melted away. The hotel's attention to detail extended to these spaces, with beautifully crafted woodwork and stone elements enhancing the overall atmosphere. Culinary delights awaited us at every meal. The kaiseki dinner was a masterpiece—a multi-course feast that highlighted seasonal and local ingredients. Despite any language barriers, their kindness and professionalism shone through. The hotel's location is ideal for exploring the rich cultural heritage of Matsumoto. We were just a short drive from the iconic Matsumoto Castle, one of Japan's most beautiful original castles. Strolling through the historic Nakamachi Street with its classic white-walled storehouses turned boutique shops and cafes was a delightful way to spend an afternoon. In addition to its proximity to cultural sites, Shoho serves as a great base for nature enthusiasts. The nearby Kamikochi Valley offers stunning hiking trails that showcase the unspoiled beauty of the Japanese Alps. Returning to the comfort of the hotel after a day of exploration was something we looked forward to, especially knowing a soothing onsen soak awaited us. In summary, Shoho encapsulates the essence of Japanese hospitality. Every aspect of our stay was thoughtfully curated to provide comfort, relaxation, and cultural enrichment. Excellent service and helpful staff, especially appreciate the pick up car services from station to hotel. Spacious room and comfortable beds. The only thing is the central heater that a bit too warm but you can open the window to regulate the temperature.

La fuente termal al aire libre en la habitación es muy pequeña y solo puede acomodar a una persona, pero el baño tiene un gran jacuzzi y un televisor. Las vacaciones son realmente maravillosas. La estación de esquí está muy cerca y puedes jugar a los tres años. Aolai tiene algunos nombres importantes que aún son caros. La olla sukiyaki y teppanyaki en el hotel son geniales. Hotel La Vigne Hakuba was a wonderful place to stay. The hotel has a beautiful minimalist design and feels clean, cozy, and very welcoming. Both the lobby and rooms were pleasantly scented, creating a relaxing atmosphere. The concierge team was extremely helpful and the overall service throughout the stay was excellent. The room was spacious, very clean, and thoughtfully designed with a very functional layout. The bedding was also very comfortable. The hotel also provides excellent facilities for skiers, including a dedicated storage and locker room for ski equipment, as well as a separate shower room where guests can freshen up and change after skiing on the day of check-out. Overall, a fantastic stay at Hotel La Vigne Hakuba — highly recommended.

Le Grand Karuizawa Hotel & Resort is a perfect place for great views, relaxation and luxury retreat. We stayed on the top of the resort where the view of the Asama Mountain is breathtaking. The room is spacious but cozy. The dinners were very good. We stayed two nights (half board), the two fine-dining French dinners with local ingredients we had were superb. The courses served at the dinners didn’t have any repeat. I will definitely come here again for other seasons.

Vivo en una habitación de estilo japonés renovado, junto al lago del 7o piso. Hay dos camas individuales en la bodega de maíz, junto a la ventana hay una mesa baja y un sofá rotocalado. Esta es una decoración muy vieja en todas partes. Aunque no uses el cuarto de baño en tu habitación, es mejor no verla. No lo uso, pero es un cuarto de baño de la época. Hay muchas familias con niños, así que si tienes familias con niños difíciles de viajar, puede ser muy bueno. Somos un par de mediana edad, así que todo no es adecuado. La próxima vez, comeré en silencio en una habitación tranquila, y el hotel es un cuarto de baño que no correrá alrededor de los niños. No nos quedamos sin una comprobación cuidadosa, así que no sirve de nada.
