«La ubicación del hotel es muy buena.Salir es la calle principal y todos los restaurantes. Como era un edificio antiguo, el nivel era alto, la renovación interna de Europa había pasado y la vivienda era muy cómoda. El hotel en el hotel acaba de comentar una estrella de Michelin. Puedes probarlo, el precio no es realmente caro. Mejor reservar antes, o tal vez no haya ubicación.»

«The hotel is modern, dreamy and exceptionally clean. I am extremely picky when it comes to cleanliness and Kempinski, as always, did not disappoint at all. Everything felt immaculate and very well maintained. The service at the front desk and concierge was impeccable, very professional, warm and genuinely friendly. Room service and overall service throughout the hotel were excellent as well. The hotel is very couple- and family-friendly, and one thing I truly appreciated was how quiet and uncrowded it felt. Even though the hotel was fully booked during our stay, we barely ran into other guests. The layout and structure of the hotel are very well thought out, creating a calm, spa-like atmosphere where nothing ever feels busy or overwhelming. The spa was solid and offered all the basic, well-functioning amenities one would expect. I’ve stayed at spa hotels with more impressive facilities, but this one still delivers a good overall experience. The sauna area is well done, with different sauna variations available. The outside pool-area could be heated a tad more. Unfortunately, all massages and facials were fully booked and we were unable to get any appointments upon arrival, which was quite disappointing. The location is beautiful, but Berchtesgaden itself doesn’t offer much to do. If you want to eat outside the hotel, you’ll need to drive about 10 minutes downhill to the village/town where you’ll find good local restaurants. Food in the hotel was nothing special and significantly overpriced - although that is somewhat expected at a luxury hotel. The Johann Grill restaurant in the evening was especially disappointing: not tasty and far too expensive for the quality offered! Concierge parking costs €10 for outdoor downhill parking or €20 for the parking garage. The €10 option is more than sufficient as they still bring your car to you. The €20 garage option feels unnecessary. Breakfast itself was good, with a solid selection and quality. However, the service at breakfast was disappointing. We sat for around 20 minutes trying to make eye contact and the staff did not acknowledge us at all. After reaching out to the manager twice, she did try her best to improve the situation, which we appreciated. Overall, a very good spa hotel for couples and families, peaceful and well-designed, but with limited activities in the surrounding area. Three nights are more than sufficient. Despite a few service and food-related shortcomings, the hotel remains a relaxing and elegant place to stay.»

Kostenlose Minibar, wurde aufgefüllt. Wasserkocher auf den Zimmern. Beschattung der Fenster, angenehme Klimaanlage. Effizient und von der Luftströmung her gut platziert. Ansprechende Bar und Frühstücksbuffet, werde ich das nächste Mal ausprobieren.»

«First, I would not recommend this hotel to travelers with young children or elderly family members. The surrounding area is highly mixed and felt unsafe during our stay. Within just three nights in Munich, we personally witnessed incidents including fighting and shop theft. This created a strong sense of insecurity for us as a family traveling with young children. Second, the bathroom design is extremely inconsiderate and poses safety risks. The raised bathroom floor becomes very slippery after the first person showers, yet no grab bars or safety features are provided. This is unacceptable for a hotel of such a well-known brand, and it is shocking that guest safety was clearly not considered during the design stage. Third, the housekeeping service was disappointing. Despite being out since morning, our room was not cleaned when we returned in the evening. When we requested assistance just to empty the rubbish bin, the cleaner refused, claiming our room was not within their assigned work area—even though it was on the same floor. Cleaning was only carried out after we called the housekeeping hotline, which left us very disappointed with the service standard. Overall, the experience fell far below expectations for a branded hotel, particularly in terms of safety, design consideration, and service quality.»
