La habitación es muy grande y muchos de los diseños tecnológicos son exquisitos. El inodoro viene con un asiento de inodoro desechable, lo cual es una ventaja muy considerada. Normalmente lo traemos con nosotros en viajes de negocios, pero el clima retrasó el viaje y estábamos. No estoy completamente preparado. Esto me hizo muy feliz. Me gusta. También hay un cargador inalámbrico. Es muy conveniente y novedoso. También me gusta usar el cargador inalámbrico en casa. y atento y ayuda a resolver las necesidades lo antes posible. La ubicación es muy conveniente, con una estación de metro justo debajo. Está a menos de 5 minutos a pie de la calle peatonal Zhongshan Road, donde hay muchos lugares para comer, beber y comprar. El hotel también está limpio y el personal es muy amable.

La habitación era espaciosa y la ropa de cama era cómoda, y también hay un minibar gratuito. No pude levantarme para desayunar, pero mi amigo me llevó de regreso a la habitación y dijo que el personal también me ayudó a empacar leche y otros alimentos. Grand Honor Hotel is definitely the best hotel in Shishi, but it’s not quite the same level as a luxury hotel in a bigger city. Generally the hotel is clean, but it’s the little things that I noticed, ie when I checked in, there were some sweet wrappers next to the bowl of sweets that weren’t cleared away. That said, the sense of space is evident in the hotel lobby, lifts, corridors and most importantly, the hotel rooms. Rooms are very spacious and well-designed, although the closet area can definitely do with brighter lights. Most amenities are provided but what put me off is that many items that would have been free in other hotels at this price-range aren’t free at Grand Honor. There is a Chinese tea set on the table and usually the loose leaf tea is provided for free but it cost ¥15 per packet. Honestly it’s not a lot of money for us, but on the flip side, surely the hotel can provide a bag of tea leaves for their guests. There are the standard free single-use packet tea in the drawer so at least there’s that. In-room slippers are not to be taken out; they’d charge you if you do - and that’s fine, but the slippers are actually really uncomfortable to wear. The small plate of fruits (banana, plum and mandarin) given at 5pm every day is a nice touch. The hotel breakfast is probably the highlight. Set on the 22nd floor with panoramic views of the city, breakfast is very enjoyable. The food quality is pretty good, but a real surprise here is the sheer diversity of food. The bread selection alone has 5-6 choices (pastries, brioche, baguette, square toast, etc), the cooked food section is almost endless (and there’s cooked Chinese vegetables! 👏🏾) and then there’s the fruit selection at the end too. My only gripe is that the coffee machine is a bit slow, and there’s only one machine so there can be a wait for coffee. Location of the hotel is a little odd; good restaurants and the main mall is about 15 mins’ walk away. There aren’t many good shops to wander around nearby. Generally, this is a solid hotel for this price point. Excellent service with very fast food delivery (using the ubiquitous delivery robots) and friendly front desk staff.

Our stay at Andaz Xiamen was absolutely spectacular. The hospitality here is top-tier; the staff are extremely friendly, proactive, and go completely out of their way to make you feel welcome and taken care of. The hotel’s architecture and high-class design are an absolute highlight. Conceived as a modern interpretation of a classic Nanyang mansion, it beautifully blends old-world tropical grandeur with sleek luxury, complete with gorgeous rattan accents, warm timber louvers, and lush, green walkways that make it feel like a ”garden on the sea.” Every corner, from the striking, high-ceilinged lobby to our room, was impeccably clean and tidy. The location in the Siming district is incredibly convenient, sitting right next to the MixC mall. Having world-class shopping and endless dining options just steps away made exploring effortless, and being close to the metro and railway station made commuting seamless. Another massive standout was the amenities. The outdoor swimming pool is fantastic, it’s heated, perfectly maintained, and surrounded by beautiful tropical landscaping, providing a peaceful, relaxing escape right in the middle of the city. The evening social hour with drinks and snacks at the Andaz Lounge was also a wonderful touch. We had a flawless experience and cannot wait to return. Highest recommendation!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is conveniently located near the airport, but it's a bit far from the main city, so rides to the city via DiDi can become quite expensive if you're making frequent trips. On the plus side, they offer a free airport shuttle, which is very convenient.

Mi estancia en la isla Lohkah fue mágica. Desde el momento en que me reservaba, el equipo me hizo sentir realmente preocupado. No había detalles demasiado grandes, no había gesto demasiado pequeño. Isak nos recibió personalmente en la pier cuando llegamos a Gulangyu, y a mi sorpresa, también fue el que nos escoltaba todo el camino de regreso a Xiamen al final de nuestra estancia tomar el ferry con nosotros y ayudarnos con todos nuestros equipajes.
