Although Xi Shuang Ban Na UrCove claims they are a smoke-free hotel, from what I have seen this is not really true. I suggest People who are allergic to cigarette smoke or have health issues related to cigarette smoke definitely go somewhere else. I saw guests as well as hotel employees openly smoking in the front lobby of this hotel. Front desk clerks and supervisor saw this but not only said nothing to the offenders but when I complained about this, the front desk clerk ignored me and glared at me for complaining. Bedroom: very spacious and clean. beddings and sheets were very clean and comfortable. Toilet: was a very new style and with a temperature toilet seat Shower area: It was a disaster. The glass panel dividing the toilet and the shower area was poorly installed, so water from the shower area leaked everywhere. It was quite dangerous because the floor outside the shower was a smooth piece of floor tile. My wife almost slipped and fell down. We immediately told the front desk that night, and all they did was send someone to wipe up the water that's all. There was no follow-up after that. Breakfast: This has got to be the worst hotel I have ever been to regarding breakfast. The majority of the breakfast items were Chinese food which I have no complaints about, although I do not eat Chinese breakfast. The biggest problem was, when we went for breakfast after 9:15 am there were lots of emptied food containers and plates which was used to hold breakfast food items. Breakfast was supposed to end at 10:00 am. 9:15 am NO croissant, Not even a simple slice of bread which I can make toast with. I also checked the Chinese food items and lots of containers were emptied as well. I then went to ask a staff where I could at least get a piece of bread. Her answer was, there isn't anymore sliced bread and what you see is what you get. There was hardly anything to eat?!?!?! I was furious and I demanded to have a couple of pieces of sliced bread. In the end, kitchen staff Mr. Wang came to my rescue and cooked me and my wife each two fried eggs. On top of it, Mr. Wang went out to get me sliced bread from outside the hotel so that my wife will at least have something to eat for breakfast. On the second day of breakfast, there was no coffee after 9:15 am as the coffee machine went into cleaning mode for at least half an hour. The chief of Chef did end up helping me to get a cup of coffee but from what I can see, this hotel is NOT ready to receive international guests. Totally disappointed in the Urcove Xi Shuang Ban Na. Totally not the Hyatt standard at all. When I started planning our itinerary for our 15 day Yunnan holiday, I plotted out our path to go all the way up to Shangri-la, back down to Kunming and then to Jiaozi Snow Mountain and Dongchuan Red Land. Then I chanced upon a video of Aini Garden and fell in love! The only reason we came to Pu'er was to get to Aini. This was the first place I booked, and I really took a chance because it has a no cancellation policy and I really had to stick to the date once it was made. The initial pre-arrival experience was less than pleasant. I didn't know how we were going to get to the manor and my WeChat messages went unanswered. The hotel we stayed at in Pu'er finally got in touch with someone and got them to message me. I asked how we could get there and the answer was a curt ”take a taxi or charter a car”. No pleasantries of ”we look forward to seeing you” or offering to arrange a car. When we arrived, no one was at reception and no one came out. Our driver was so perplexed he wondered if we were in the right place and if the place was open. Finally a young girl came out and registered us in. There was an air of aloofness from everyone else. However, once we were checked in, things warmed up quickly. We were offered coffee and freshly cut papaya and had a nice introduction chat with the lady staff. The bedroom and bathroom is well appointed, spacious and comfortable. We would have enjoyed sitting on the balcony if the chairs were more comfortable. I love the floor to ceiling glass windows but the panel above the door should also be glass (it is just netting) so traffic sounds from the road actually comes through at night. I actually wanted to book the cottage in the hills but opted for the standard room in the main house because I was worried it would be cold. Big regret as it is actually magnificently located with stunning views. However take note that you will need to call for a buggy ride or make a 1km hike every time you want to eat or get to the main house. If you are self driving, no issues as you can park right next to the cottage. Anyway it's a small price to pay for an unlimited view of the milky way and seclusion. This is as close to a Ryokan experience as you can get in China, minus the hot springs. 3 days 2 nights of blissful, carefree living is not quite enough. They make sure they feed you well, with the freshest produce available for hotpot dinner and home-cooked Yunnanese dishes for lunch. There are so many activities organised, from taking you up the mountain for a glimpse of sunrise (with mountain goats for company ❤️) to coffee plantation education tour to horseback riding along the mountain ridges (the view is spectacular!) to scavenging for wild vegetables and fruits to drinking, dancing and singing around the campfire! So much to do, so little time! One area of improvement I personally would like to see is the coffee serving. They tend to be quite snobbish about how their coffee is taken. Neat, with nothing else. Asking for sugar or milk feels nearly scorned upon. Coffee is a versatile drink and can be savoured in a huge variety of ways. How else is Starbucks so successful? I felt kind of stifled and deprived because I love a good latte and had looked forward to enjoying an unlimited indulgence of coffee throughout our stay. Anyhow, I love the ecotourism efforts here. It feels natural and unpretentious. I love the people and the camaraderie they cultivate. I especially enjoyed talking to their consultant 敬梅, a beautiful lady with extensive knowledge in Yunnan culture and ecological progress. Also thank you to 徐芳 for arranging transport back to town and giving helpful recommendations. We hope to return again.

第一次來版納，根據位置和評價綜合選擇的酒店，非常滿意。位置離星光夜市片區很近，隔壁就是租車行（有一天和三天租電瓶車套餐），出行很方便。房間裝修和視野都不錯，有一些智能應用也比較方便，8樓屋頂的泳池雖然不大但是水比較乾淨，視野也不錯適合拍照。最後就是服務很超預期，一樓有免費的冷飲和驅蚊噴霧，還送了我們新鮮水果拼盤，諮詢的問題回覆也很及時，態度熱情。下次來還會選擇這裏，性價比很高，非常推薦。

loved the experience, the staff were so friendly and warm. the best trip i ever had in 2024. food was good, stay was comfortable and view was one of the best!! though its on the pricy side but its very worth the deal. the staff were so helpful in all ways, from sharing with you what to do in yunnan to helping us out with our luggage's... bookings and everything! high tea was amazing too with different varieties every day.

Un nuevo hotel estilo villa que cuenta con comodidades modernas, como ducha con temperatura controlada, bidé y cama y piso con calefacción. La aclimatación fue espaciosa y tiene una hermosa vista de la montaña y Napahai dependiendo de su habitación. Nuestra estancia de 3 noches fue agradable y tuvimos la suerte de que el propietario nos trajera a ard napahai para un recorrido por una pequeña tarifa. Si eres un amante de los perros, esta puede ser otra razón para que consideres hospedarte en Qingyu, ya que tienen 2 perros súper sociables y adorables (Coke y Riceball) que te darán la bienvenida cada vez que regreses al hotel. Dada la ubicación del hotel, no hay muchas opciones de comida a menos que te dirijas a la ciudad. Sin embargo, el hotel dispone de una cocina para satisfacer sus antojos, aunque la selección no es muy amplia. Obtendrás el mismo menú para el desayuno todos los días. Vale la pena visitarlo y quedarse si busca una estadía tranquila y premium en Shangri-la.

We enjoyed our stay here, so when we returned from Shangri-la to Lijiang, we made a repeat booking at this place. The cleanliness of the place and the friendliness of the staff were the main reasons for our return. Location: This place is situated near the border of the Lijiang Ancient City. It is close to the main road (2 min walk) which makes it easy to meet your driver for airport transfer or any tour you join. It is also extremely convenient to get to the main attractions such as Mu Residence (5 min) and Zhongyi Night Market (6-8 min). You will be away from the hustle and bustle at night, and get some peace and quiet. Room: We were lucky that we got a room on the ground floor, as we had very heavy luggage. It would be very difficult to pull them up the stairs if we were on the upper floor. Every room has a different name, and shows that the owners put some thought into giving each of their guests a unique experience. The room we got was of moderate size, with a small sofa area for you to enjoy tea and snacks. There was also a kettle and four cups, and a 5-litre water dispenser that dispensed hot and cold water - I appreciated this, which was more environmentally friendly and generous than other accommodation which gave us 2 bottles of water (500ml each) each every day. The room was also equipped with heating, for the room and the floor, and they were controlled by the front desk. There was also a humidifier. The room's interior decoration was warm and cozy. Outdoor: We also enjoyed sitting outdoors, idling, gazing at the fish, watching the flowers bloom, while enjoying many cups of tea. Toilet: It was of decent size, with a shower cubicle that dispensed hot water pretty quickly. They provided us with everything so there's nothing you need to bring: shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush, toothpaste, slippers, slippers for shower, towels for body and hair, one-time face towels, hair dryer, body lotion, soap, detergent. Service: The staff was hospitable, friendly, and the service was impeccable. We enjoyed chatting with them over many cups of tea, and rose pastries. They even recommended travel routes and restaurants to us, which were very good, and we even got discounts or freebies by telling the restaurants where we were staying. It was easy to communicate with the staff on WeChat, they responded promptly, and arranged free airport transfer for us as we stayed more than three nights. Food: Breakfast was served every morning, which included a bowl of Yunnan mixian (noodles), a steamed bun, a hard-boiled egg, corn, and some spicy preserved vegetables. Every booking came with one serving of afternoon tea, which included rose pastries and a variety of fruits. We arrived after midnight and the staff prepared some rose pastries and fruit for us, in case we would be hungry, which was very thoughtful of them!

Cuando mi madre me dio la oportunidad de visitar Lijiang, navegué a muchos hoteles en Trip.com y ordené este hotel de muchos hoteles con buenas opiniones sin saber previamente que esto cumplirá mi satisfacción por el más. Antes de llegar a la ciudad, me encontré con el hotel si mi madre tiene 88 años de edad y necesitaba usar sillas de ruedas. El personal que nos cuidó, xiao Juan , nos ayudó con el plan de viaje, nos escoltaron a la antigua ciudad de Dayan y Shuhe , nos dirigieron a entender la ciudad de Baisha y nos ayudó con todo lo que necesitamos. El hotel está situado en el centro de Baisha, donde se encuentra el centro de Baisha, donde se encuentra el centro de Baisha. La vista de la montaña de nieve se puede ver desde el jardín interior y más claramente desde el tercer piso del hotel. El desayuno es adecuado con un conjunto de platos chinos pequeños, junto con una selección de arroz cocido o de nodos. Me siento como si no tuviera nada que pedir más y quisiera expresar mi gratitud a todos los empleados de aquí.

The inn is located on 狮子山, thus do reach out to the team via WeChat in advance to arrange for help with carrying the luggage from the road. The family room is extremely huge with 4 beds, a large bathroom and a projector. The staff is also very warm and helpful. He even helped to arrange for courier delivery of my luggage when 1 piece was left out on the stone bench when boarding the car! An overall very enjoyable stay. Definitely will recommend!

Somos una familia musulmana de 5 (2A, 3C-13,11,9). El hotel nos recogió de la estación de ferrocarril. Llegamos temprano, así que nos enviaron a la ciudad para que camináramos. El hotel está muy bien situado y está muy bien situado. La habitación es limpia y es spaciosa. ******* vibe de lujo. Los animales (ovejas, pones, pelucas, huesquies) son adorables y amables. El hotel se ha ido a una zona cercana en el napahai. A unos 10 minutos. Lo amamos, fue una experiencia memorable para todos nosotros. Experiencia perfecta y queremos volver si tenemos la oportunidad. Para comidas de halal: comimos en la ciudad.

Before making the booking, I was quite skeptical of all the rave reviews (honestly, they all look like AI-generated). I am so glad that I went ahead with my booking in the end. The reviews were true! LaMaison was truly the highlight of our trip! Arrival: If you arrive in a standard sedan car, you can be driven to the doorstep of the hotel. We arrived in a 19-seater tour bus and were dropped off a short walk away. That was no problem at all as we didn’t have to worry about our luggage. The hotel manager/butler A-Liu contacted us beforehand and arrived right on time to help ferry all the luggage in a cart. Location: Excellent. With LaMaison located at the edge of the Old Town, we enjoyed both the convenience of exploring the Old Town on foot and a peaceful and quiet environment. Rooms: As mentioned by the other reviewers – the rooms are new, comfortable, beautiful and big (for the price). In fact the whole hotel was beautiful - every corner was photo-worthy. Service: Our hotel butler, A-Liu was contactable and responsive via wechat. He addressed all our questions and needs promptly. He also offered us an upgrade so that my teenager could have a private area in the room and a comfortable bed instead of just an extra mattress. Overall, we enjoyed our experience at LaMaison very much. The value was unbeatable. As part of the room price, we were offered daily breakfast, afternoon tea, supper and drop off at the train station at the end of the stay. A-Liu also provided a detailed map of the Old Town and offered to take us on a private tour of the Old Town Can’t recommend LaMaison enough!
