«Staying at the Lanjing Apartment Hotel at Wanda Plaza in Hohhot genuinely felt less like checking into a stiff, predictable hotel room and much more like borrowing a stylish, high-rise apartment from a friend. I booked it primarily for the location, but by the time I checked out, it was the sheer convenience and comfort of the space that made me realize I’d probably never bother looking for another place to stay whenever I find myself back in the city. Finding the front desk initially takes a little bit of navigation since the hotel operates out of one of the massive Wanda apartment towers rather than a traditional standalone lobby, but the staff immediately made up for any initial confusion. They were incredibly welcoming, handing over the keys with plenty of great local food recommendations and a genuine hospitality that you rarely get at massive corporate chains. The room itself was an immediate relief, especially compared to the cramped, cookie-cutter layout of standard budget hotels. It was incredibly spacious, flooded with natural light from a massive floor-to-ceiling window that offered an amazing view of the city, which looked spectacular at night. The design had a sleek, modern, almost minimalist vibe, but it didn't sacrifice comfort for aesthetics. The bed, featuring a remarkably plush latex mattress, was an absolute dream to collapse into after a long day of walking. What really elevated the experience for me, though, were the practical, homey touches. Having a functional washing machine and a mini-fridge right in the room is a total game-changer if you’ve been on the road for a while or just want to unpack and feel settled. Of course, the absolute superpower of this place is exactly what sits right outside the front door. Being physically integrated into the Wanda Plaza complex means you are plugged directly into the heartbeat of the area. If I wanted a quick coffee, a late-night hotpot fix, or needed to grab a few things from a supermarket, I just had to take the elevator downstairs to the pedestrian street. There is no traditional hotel breakfast buffet here, but honestly, with hundreds of dining options quite literally at your doorstep, a hotel restaurant would just hold you back. Getting around the rest of Hohhot from there was entirely effortless. The Inner Mongolia Museum Metro Station is just a short, easy walk down the street, which connects you to the rest of the city's main attractions in no time. Plus, because it is only a quick ten-to-fifteen-minute drive from the Hohhot East Railway Station and relatively close to the airport, the logistics of arriving and leaving were completely stress-free. The property does have a couple of quirks to keep in mind. Because it is spread out across different floors of a busy commercial tower, the elevators can occasionally get a bit sluggish during peak hours, and if you are driving a car, navigating the crowded mall parking structures can be a bit of a headache. The room decor can also vary depending on which specific unit you get. But for anyone who values a massive amount of personal space, the freedom of in-room laundry, and having an entire modern shopping district right under their feet, it is an absolute steal. It gives you a genuine taste of city living with all the safety and ease of a managed property.»

«Excelente estancia en este hotel de Hothot (mejor que el otro hotel de 5 estrellas de marca en el que me alojé cerca de MixC). El proceso de registro fue muy sencillo, está a poco más de un kilómetro de Wanda Plaza y a 10-15 minutos del Museo de Mongolia Interior y la estación de tren de Hothot Este. La habitación era muy espaciosa y contaba con todas las comodidades necesarias, botellas de agua adicionales en el vestíbulo del ascensor, gimnasio y lavandería gratuita con bolsas de lavandería, detergente y quitapelusas incluidos. El desayuno buffet ofrecía una gran variedad de comida y bebida. En el mismo edificio se encuentra el restaurante ”Xibei”, ideal para familias, y un spa. Es especialmente recomendable para familias con niños pequeños, gracias a su fantástica decoración y juguetes infantiles.»

«We stayed here to enjoy the unobstructed view of the volcano and to experience the space-themed rooms. Visiting during the low season at the end of March, we didn't expect to be the only guests, but despite that, we received exceptional treatment. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and beautifully decorated. The breakfast was beautifully prepared, and the staff were friendly, welcoming, and very accommodating. The night views were absolutely spectacular and truly made our trip memorable. Although the location is about 1.5 hours from town, we were glad we chose this place for its unique charm and stunning scenery. We would wholeheartedly recommend it to fellow travelers visiting the area. Additionally, there's a large spa / hot springs just a few meters away to relax and make the stay extra special! Again, would highly recommend.»

«It was a truly wonderful experience. The place is beautiful, with clean and comfortable panoramic yurts decorated with great taste and attention to detail. The beds were very comfortable, and the bed linen was of high quality. Hot water and air conditioning worked perfectly throughout our stay. The staff speak English and were incredibly friendly and helpful. They assisted us in planning a one-day program, during which we enjoyed an exciting theatrical performance. The kids especially loved the horse riding and cart rides. There is also a restaurant on the territory, which is very convenient when traveling with children. Highly recommended place!»

«La primera vez que viven en el salón, en general, sigue siendo posible. El paisaje de la suite de los padres es bueno y la vista es abierto. Un nivel de máquina de hielo y café, la primera máquina de desayuno es ligera y saludable. El hotel que abrió el mes pasado, creo que todavía tiene un poco de sabor decorado, pero tal vez tiene sabor de champán del hotel de soja. Los dos tipos de sabores no están mezclados de manera obvia. El estacionamiento abajo es conveniente, la entrada al estacionamiento está al norte del hotel, y también hay estacionamiento gratuito al lado de la carretera. También es conveniente comer alrededor, y hay varios restaurantes famosos a pie en cinco minutos. Sin embargo, hay pequeños seres desconocidos en un solo piso y en la habitación.»
