«Este no es el Hotel en la foto añadida. El hotel es un hotel de negocios de estilo japonés razonable. El personal fue muy amable y amable y trató de ayudarnos con el problema de reservas por Trip.com. La agencia de reservas (Trip.com) nos había reservado como 6 huéspedes y nos había cobrado en consecuencia. El hotel está muy bien situado, pero no puede hacer nada porque no es un error de los agentes del hotel.»

«Resulta un poco sorprendente y decepcionante que el hotel no tenga lavandería de monedas. Al ser el edificio más nuevo de la zona, las instalaciones son limpias y agradables. Como pueden ver en la foto adjunta, el hotel ocupa solo seis plantas. Como era de esperar de un pueblo termal, se dice que el gran baño es 100 % de agua caliente sin destilar. El agua es excelente. El baño solo cuesta 1500 yenes, pero gasté unos 70 000 wones por noche en un viaje de tres días y dos noches, de domingo a martes, así que quedé satisfecho. No recomendaría el desayuno, pero sí ofrecen la especialidad local, Kawara Soba, para cenar, así que si quieren probarla, se la recomiendo. Cuesta 4950 yenes. El check-in es a las 16:00, pero a diferencia de otros hoteles, no son tan flexibles. Si hay disponibilidad, pueden registrarse a partir de las 15:00. Esta fue la mejor parte. Hay una tienda Lawson justo enfrente, y al lado hay un centro de información turística, un pediluvio y agua caliente potable, lo que lo convierte en una ubicación ideal. Si caminas unos 15 minutos hacia Yamaguchi, encontrarás la NHK y el parque central es un lugar agradable y bonito.»

«Elegí una habitación un poco más grande. El baño era más amplio que el de un hotel de negocios típico. El desayuno era de estilo japonés, no tipo bufé, pero estaba delicioso. Hay una tienda de conveniencia cerca, pero me pareció un poco lejos. Quedé satisfecha con el champú y el acondicionador; no me irritaron el pelo. (*´∀｀*)»

The room was spotlessly clean, thoughtfully designed, and very comfortable, especially by Japanese business hotel standards. The bed provided excellent support, ensuring a restful night’s sleep after a long day of travel. Despite being near the station, the room was quiet and peaceful. What truly stood out was the service. The staff were consistently polite, efficient, and welcoming, always ready to assist with a smile. Check-in and check-out were smooth and stress-free. Breakfast was another highlight, offering a good variety of Japanese and Western options, perfect for starting the day on a satisfying note. Overall, VIA INN SHIMONOSEKI offers exceptional value, comfort, and convenience. I would highly recommend it to both business and leisure travelers and would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Shimonoseki.»

«The hotel is located right on the side of the bay with views of strait Ganryujima Island and a short walk away from some great restaurants. The staff were really helpful, from parking, to reception and the breakfast team, all of them were genuinely friendly. The room was spotless and the onsen was amazing. I've really enjoyed my time in Shimonoseki and the Dormy Inn was a great base for this. Thank you.»

«Después de disfrutar de las aguas termales esa noche, disfrutamos de una comida kaiseki, la famosa cocina de fugu de la prefectura de Yamaguchi. 😋 Era nuestra primera vez comiendo fugu. Tenían sashimi de fugu, una pequeña olla caliente, chawanmushi de fugu y una pequeña tempura de fugu. 😅 Los camareros fueron muy atentos, explicándonos los ingredientes y el método de cocción de cada plato para que pudiéramos saborearlos. Fue mucho mejor que nuestras experiencias anteriores en otras posadas con aguas termales. ¡Una gran ventaja! 👍»

«Es bueno parar mientras viaja solo. No hay lugares turísticos alrededor, por lo que no es un viaje deliberado, pero fue un hotel rentable. Sin embargo, la tarifa de estacionamiento fue de 500 yenes por separado. No hubo excepción a la bicicleta.»

«Unbeatable location with many rooms ( or all rooms) and public spaces facing Tsunoshima Bridge. Our room faced the ocean directly with no obstruction. The bath was also quite decent and the outdoor bath is next to the sea. You can enjoy the sound of the waves while bathing in the hot spa. It should be quite spectacular during sunset. The spa was probably renovated within the last 10 years as it was in good condition. The room , however, felt old and the corridor was damp. The carpet in the room felt damp and the room felt stuffy. The AC worked well and we turned it on high. Our triple room as spacious but I felt itchy the whole night while sleeping- although the sheets looked clean ( I slept on the added bed). The other two beds looked slumped in the middle. Bathroom also looked quite old( from the 70’s)? My room was at the far end wing and there were lots of stairs to walk up and down from the front desk which was on the third floor. The staff will help to bring the luggages to your room ( also at check out - just call). Hotel restaurant serves dinner buffet . If you are not interested, the hotel also has a list of restaurants nearby with 10-30 minutes drive. We drove out to have yakitori in a small down, which was very local, but with friendly owner, good food- and super cheap price ( each yakitori was about ¥120-150 yen. Breakfast buffet has both Japanese and western offers, taste was average. Overall service was very good.»
