«We had an amazing time at NASPA New Otani — this hotel is a fantastic choice if you’re visiting Yuzawa, especially for a winter getaway! The staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay, making us feel right at home from check-in to check-out. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable — perfect for relaxing after a day of skiing. The location is ideal for winter sports lovers with ski-in/ski-out access to the slopes and easy shuttle service to Echigo-Yuzawa Station, which made getting around a breeze even in snowy weather. The onsen and bathing facilities were relaxing and just what we needed after spending time outdoors. The buffet breakfast and dinner had plenty of variety and were really enjoyable, with something for everyone. While the hotel is set a little away from town, the free shuttle made it convenient to explore the area if we wanted. Overall, it felt like a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and superb service — highly recommended!»

«Stayed here during a ski trip to Yuzawa in March and had a great experience overall. The location was convenient, around a 6–7 minute walk from the JR station west exit. We booked the package with breakfast and dinner included, and really enjoyed the meals, the menu was different every night which was a nice touch. The room was also very spacious for 2 people. The staff were friendly and helpful. The private onsen in the room was a bit smaller than expected, but the private onsens on the 6th floor were very nice and relaxing. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Would stay again for another ski trip :)»

«The hotel itself was nice, but the staff at the ski resort was horrible, the rentals are also not well maintained. The boards are not waxed, which makes it difficult to work with as there are a lot of flat routes which are difficult to avoid (Pony and village road were the flattest slope Ive ever seen in my life, I had to unstrap and walk and the board just wouldn't move). Ski resort staff were unfriendly and the rental staff was the worst, there was a lady there that was cold and rude. The only reason why the rental shop is surviving is probably because the equipments are salomon branded and that there is no other option.  I would visit again but only because the routes are fun, Myoko long run was the best, but I would never want to rent from the shop again. The food was very very good. For breakfast, you could choose from western or Japanese buffet. Western buffet is highly recommended, the omelette was the best ive eaten in my life and there was a diy risotto which was great as well. For dinner, there were 4 options, either buffet, steak, Japanese or shabushabu. All requiring reservations which is tough if you are checking in the evening as some might not be available. Highly recommend the steak, the food was good and the staff were amazing. Japanese was the hardest to get a reservation for but the food was quite underwhelming. The room was clean and ski lockers are also provided but it's tiny and can barely fit 2 boards. But I wish that in the toilet in the common area, you can adjust the tap temperature as the water is freezing cold. Amenities wise, bottled water are provided daily, also, yukata was provided but you can only wear them to the onsen which was extremely troublesome as I had to change multiple times a day.  The hotel provides shuttle bus services to and fro jyoetsumyoko station which was easy to book. The bus drivers were also friendly and helped out with the luggage. In summary, for a 5 stars hotel, it didn't live up to expectations, ski resort and rental staffs were unwilling to help and unfriendly. Also, some of the staffs could not speak Japanese which is puzzling for a hotel in Japan. If not for the amazing snow and slopes I would never come back.»

«This hotel is very popular with families, especially Japanese guests bringing their children to enjoy the snow during winter. There were quite a lot of kids staying at the hotel, so the atmosphere was lively and family-oriented. The property itself is very large. However, in my opinion, the common lounge areas felt a bit limited compared to the overall size of the hotel. The dinner buffet was excellent — almost everything was delicious. There was a wide variety of international dishes, offering something for everyone. If you visit during winter and are assigned a room on the lowest floor, your view may be blocked by a wall of snow, so that’s something to keep in mind. Also, the rooms looked bigger in the photos than they felt in reality. Overall, though, it was still a good stay.»

«El hotel es muy grande y 7-8 minutos a pie de la estación de Niigata ~ Hay un baño muy grande, así que lo utilicé cómodamente ~ El desayuno fue bueno con ingredientes producidos en Niigata ~ Hay una zona central cerca, La habitación de la habitación era muy buena, pero no sería muy agradable. Se necesitaba ~ Tasa de estacionamiento es de 1500 yen al día, y fue mucho más conveniente utilizar el estacionamiento cerca del hotel por 1400 yen ~»
