En general, la estancia en este hotel fue agradable y la relación calidad-precio fue excelente, considerando que el paquete ya incluía cena y desayuno buffet. En cuanto a la ubicación, estaba un poco lejos de la terminal de autobuses a pie. Tardamos unos 15 minutos, ya que la ruta de Google no era del todo correcta. La entrada principal del hotel estaba en una cuesta, lo cual no fue tan fácil ya que llevábamos equipaje. Recuerde preguntar en recepción la contraseña de la puerta trasera. Era un atajo que conducía a la calle comercial principal y al Kusatsu Yubatake. La habitación era agradable y limpia, un poco básica. Solo había un enchufe cerca de la pared del televisor, no cerca de la cama, lo cual era un poco incómodo. El buffet ofrecía una amplia variedad de comida, con algunos platos locales interesantes. La comida estaba deliciosa. El hotel también ofrece fideos gratis para picar por la noche, que también vale la pena probar.

Прекрасный отель с онсенами! Жила в самом маленьком номере в традиционном стиле с татами и футоном. Места для одного человека достаточно. Очень красивый дизайн комнаты. В отеле просторные горячие источники, один закрытый находится внизу, и два открытых источника на крыше здания с чудесным видом на город. Ванны меняются каждый день на мужские и женские, если посетить их утром и вечером, то можно попробовать все. Вода действительно целебная, намного лучше себя чувствуешь после купания. Ужин не заказывала, утром была на традиционном японском завтраке. Все красиво сервированно и подписано (правда, на японском языке). В меню рыба, овощи на пару, рис, маринованные овощи, бобы натто, яйцо, сладкий йогурт, чай. В фойе отеля можно также выпить кофе, заранее заботливо заваренный сотрудниками. Спасибо за пребывание и отдых в этом чудесном отеле в Ikaho Onsen!

We had a wonderful stay at Urakusatsu Tou, a brand-new hotel that truly exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly escorted by the staff. Although parking was allocated at a private outdoor parking area, the hotel thoughtfully provided an escort service, making the process very smooth and comfortable. The room was spacious and beautifully designed. Communication was easy as the receptionist spoke fluent English. The hotel also provided pajamas and daily clothing, which was a lovely and convenient touch. The onsen experience was outstanding—definitely one of the best we’ve ever had. You can immediately feel your skin becoming smooth after soaking, which made each visit incredibly relaxing. We stayed for three nights with both breakfast and dinner included. Meals were served à la carte, and the menu changed daily, surprising us every time. The food was delicious and very filling—we were completely satisfied after every meal. That said, there are a few areas we hope the hotel could improve: • During winter, the room felt quite cold as the air-conditioning heater did not function properly and was unable to warm up the room. • Breakfast hours could be extended a little later for guests who prefer a more relaxed morning. • Providing a choice of pillows would further improve sleeping comfort. • The blue indicator light on the room’s control panel remains very bright even when all lights are turned off, which can be a bit distracting at night. Overall, this hotel offers excellent service, comfort, and an unforgettable onsen and dining experience. Highly recommended, and we believe it will be even better with these small improvements.

La ubicación geográfica excelente está justo en frente de Yubatake. La ducha, el baño y la cara de la habitación son muy pequeños porque son muy viejos, pero la cena de bife y la ama de la cama son deliciosos. Breakfast and dinner buffet was included with our room and it was much better than expected. Overall, I would say this is a wonderful hotel though the only thing is how strict they are with check out and parking times. We wanted to walk around the city, though we paid for late check out at 12, hotel would not allow us to pay extra to park a few hours more.

Highly recommended. Definitely worth the money. (Free) shuttle service from/to Karuizawa saved us much time. All the onsens (including the one inside the room) are enjoyable. Definitely will visit again.

You can use their sister hotel's onsen just next door. Free coffee and pastries provided in the afternoon. Upon our arrival, we're greeted with great staff members, who take our shoes and away and provide us slippers to wear during our entire stay. The dinner was exquisitely served as a big course composed of various several side dishes and main items. We were just blown away. So we came back to the room after dinner to find out that the futon beds, Japanese style mattress & beds, were set up for us to relax and sleep. The breakfast is just a bit less sophisticated but still much more than we could eat, yet impressive for us in terms of the effort required to make them. Same with upon our departure, our shoes are placed back at the lobby orientated readily for us to wear. It just shows Japanese highly attentive level of detail in terms of hospitality. Although the location is its downside, even if you don't have a rental car, I still highly recommend it if you can find a way there.
