First of all, the exterior of this hotel has such a vibe and aesthetically pleasing. I like the concept of how everything you need in a city is clumped up into one location. The dinner (which is a buffet style) is sooo good. I didn't have breakfast and they also have a lunch box where you can take snacks when visiting inside Petra. They also have an amazing view of the rooftop and offer drinks as well. I didn't even attempt to explore the city to find restaurants or cafes. The room that I have was a typical bed sharing hostel but the attached bathroom is a new experience for me as I don't need to share with more people other than my 3 other roommates. The staff are AMAZING! Every single one of them. They helped me to book a bus going to the next city, to save time and money by giving tips and tricks on how to visit Petra efficiently. What I didn't like was the hike going up and down from the hotel to Petra is quite tiring but if you have a car it will be helpful. But for me, it didn't bother me. It's like a pre-workout before walking and exploring Petra so that's great I guess.

El desayuno tenía una gran variedad de buena calidad. La habitación era muy limpia y parecía construida el año pasado - muy bien mantenida. El hotel es un hotel muy nuevo, pero está un poco sobrepagado. En general, una excelente elección para Petra.

Z of Phnom Penh chose the Marriott in Petra after a deeply debated tl”Top 5 YouTube Petra Hotels” clip. We arrived on a road with absolutely no bumps, and were greeted by the friendliest concierge, the friendliest hotel manager, the friendliest waiter, and the friendliest chef. Immediately we ordered the ”Beef burger, no meat, just the bun please” and the chef nodded silently and understood our needs. The kids amazingly ate lunch free, so they had more time to Switch on, Vapow! In the evening, we looked for the green flash overlooking the majestic Petra mountains after a cool dip. For dinner, Sadly, Caramello and Nede didn't make it, but the Mandi was amazing. Kids again ate free, as did a little cat in exchange for a few scratches. 6 months is justified, as by now, it's all about the principle. We all agreed So in the end, it wasn't just the personal welcome message on the TV in the room that justified Z's decision, but the phenomenal kindness of the staff, ”You're Welcome!”

El hotel está muy bien, el personal del hotel es muy amable. Este hotel está situado en una esquina de una colina ligeramente superior, por lo que incluso usted se quedó en el restaurante exterior, puedes tener una muy buena vista a las áreas rodeadas de Petra. En términos de ubicación, es sólo 5 minutos en coche hasta la entrada de la ciudad de Petra. ¡Y el precio de dinero es muy alto también para este hotel!

For our tour this was billed as a more basic hotel than some of the others but we found it to be a lovely place. From our group it was obvious that not all rooms have a safe but everything was clean and the staff freindly. The breakfasts were good and we also ate in the restaurant one night and that was absolutely fine. We liked the Edom hotel and its location is perfect for Petra.

Estuvimos 2 noches, llegamos solo porque ibamos a Petra: El staff es increiblemete atento, te ofrecen resolver todo. no tienen problema en recomendar servicios de otros hoteles (ellos no venden alcohol pero te indican donde si). La habitacion muy buena, comoda, buena higiene. La ubicacion es excelente esta a 100 mts de la entrada al complejo turistico. Tienen estacionamiento propio El buffet de cena bastante bueno, el de desayuno no pudimos disfrutarlo porque fuimos a Petra, pero amablemente nos ofrecieron Box Lunch para que no perdieramos ese deayuno que ya haboiamos pagado, esto fue un gran gesto.

Hotel semplice, al limite dell’ essenziale. La pulizia delle lenzuola non era il massimo, ho trovato diversi capelli per cui non ho dormito a cuor leggero mentre il resto della camera risultava abbastanza pulita. Le scale per accedere ai piani e alla sala colazione sarebbero invece da rivedere perché i tappetini le rendono poco agevoli e anche pericolose. La colazione davvero scarsa. Tutto sommato non mi sento di sconsigliarlo perché i proprietari sono stati gentilissimi e disponibili e il prezzo è più che onesto per gli standard di Petra però va detto che occorre un po’ di spirito di adattamento. L’hotel dispone di parcheggio ed è a 5 minuti dal sito

El hotel está limpio e higiénico, y el personal de servicio es muy entusiasta. Está a unos cinco minutos de la antigua ciudad de Petra. El lugar para entrar no es fácil de encontrar. The facilities were very limited for a camp welcoming tourists and with quite a high price. We didn't expect this when we saw the rather positive reviews and ratings... - When we arrived at check-in time, it seemed that our rooms were not ready and when we entered them, they were not clean at all (traces of excrement in the toilets, the shower drain was blocked, etc.). - Then it was mentioned to us only at the arrival that the electricity is available only from 6 am to 8 am and then from 6pm to 12am. We can wash only in the evening and we have to ask (sometimes several times) to have hot water. This information should be absolutely present in the description of the hotel or at the time of the reservation. Even if this is due to the fact that the camp is far away, it is still the least an hotel can offer for the price paid. - Although the camp is on a hill and it was December, it was also much too cold and the rooms were not well insulated for that. We could see and feel the wind passing through the fabric of the walls. We had made camps in the desert before, where the temperature were the same, and that was still well insulated from the cold so that proves that the rooms in this camp are not at all adapted for that. Moreover, there is no point in taking the AC to warm up (a paying service) since the electricity cuts off at midnight and the cold comes in from everywhere in the room. - The meal is not excellent and expensive (15 JOD). - The road to arrive at the camp is rocky. It would have been nice to have the information to know if our car could access it or not.
