Couple with dog. For two nights we didn't have hot water. We rang reception an spoke to the duty manager - the second time...He told us it was because there was a coach load of people staying who had all taken a shower/bath at the same time on their return, and we would have to wait until it heated up again. That didn't allow for the lack of pressure - a trickle! In the end we gave up - no shower/bath. However, the duty manager assured us that the manager would find us the next morning.... this never happened, On the Saturday night the same thing happened. The excuse given by the receptionist for the manager not having found us that morning was there was a wedding and all managers were needed - they didn't start their shift until 11am. The duty manager couldn't speak to us as he was working at the wedding - Saturday night - but Leanne assured us that she had noted our complaint and that she had written up notes, and our inconvenience (now not having hot water for two nights of a three night stay) would be reflected in our invoice on checking out. This wasn't the point. The stay was supposed to be a relaxing, super special treat, not able to have a shower or a bath at night was NOT okay! She assured us that on the third night the 'tour' party and 'wedding party' would have left. So we would have hot water. Which we did. On checking out the receptionist had no idea about our complaint, and therefore couldn't help us. We are in the process of writing a compliant, and a review. The staff and hotel did not let you down - the management did! I have a video of the water pressure. On another point, the hotel is described as dog friendly. This might be the case. You can bring your dog for a fee of £25 a night, however, on check in we were told we had to eat in the bar area or outside. Luckily the weather was okay. However, we felt like second class citizens! Not only that but the bar area has no tables at which anyone could eat a meal - the tables are all low and only fit for snacks!

Beautiful hotel with gardens and a fantastic spa. The rooms are spacious and full of character, but unfortunately poorly maintained. The carpets are worn, furniture stained and wallpaper peeling. All to be expected from a hotel as old as this, although it’s wise to curb your expectations as hotel pictures aren’t an accurate reflection. Room 135 was so full of potential and could be absolutely spectacular with some TLC. Staff were wonderful; attentive, warm and helpful.

The hotel is in a great area of the countryside of Warwickshire. When you arrive the bar/food service next door is currently having maintenance issues so it is not currently open. When we arrived, the service was amazing:kind, friendly and approachable. On arrival to our room, the room (21) was a big size. The double bed was huge and double beds were available to our 2 children - even with our luggage scattered around the room, there was still plenty of room for the children to run around and play. My fiancé said the room was quiet warm but I liked the temperature of the room and found it pleasant - not too warm or cold and was very comfortable. The only amenities we would have benefited from as a family, was a fridge because our youngest needs dairy free milk for the night. However, I appreciate this is a luxury within hotels so it wasn't a factor to complain about. The beds were comfy. Breakfast in the morning - running from 7am-10am (we arrived at 9am) was a little disappointing. There wasn't much choice and a lot of items we had to wait for between 10-15 mins - and without saying anything to very absent kitchen/buffet staff, it wasn't topped up. I made do with what was left but I didn't end up having any toast (no bread), no bacon and no eggs. Not worth the £12.99 price tag. I have seen this mentioned in other reviews but breakfast area was conservatory-esque and quite cold. As mentioned previously, customer service was great and this was upheld at checkout. No close local amenities, evening restaurant, local shop etc but overall, a lovely stay.

La habitación era muy agradable, y las habitaciones estaban sin lugar a duchas, con maquinaria de café, ropa de baño, pantalones de baño, secador de pelo. El menú de la cena en la habitación está muy bien precio, pero no es todo el día, por lo que compruebe con la recepción. Hay mucho que hacer alrededor de la propiedad y hay también un amplio aparcamiento disponible. La piscina interior está calentada y puede utilizarse hasta 8PM. El desayuno es de 7-10AM y es una hermosa diseminación.

arrived around 3pm and checked in at the bar as instructed I received a warm welcome and even had my case carried up the stairs (no lift). I was given room 3, a single which was more than adequate with large single bed (very comfy) separate bath tub and wc plus t & coffee- I was pleasantly surprised. The wall mounted tv worked efficiently, there was sufficient storage and hanging space for my two night needs & the t and milks were topped up as requested. brekky was adequate and I enjoyed my stay. The ten am check out was a bit of a problem on the second morning as my train wasn’t until noon (less than 5 minutes walk to the station). the bus to Stratford, Warwick and Coventry goes from round the corner and the town is 7 - 10 minutes walk across the river bridge and past the pump room. plenty of dining options. good value for money but more a boarding house than hotel. I would return

Very glad I booked in this hotel. I needed a place for a night while coming to see the RSC, and the location couldn’t be better, just across the park. The room was so pretty and had everything you needed, bathtub, soap, iron, a kettle to make coffee/tea, and hair dryer. It doesn’t have AC, but my assistant dog and I were fine with just the fan. (I wonder in the winter?) But it did have towel warm rack- fantastic to dry off the towels and small washed clothes. The check in and out super easy and they’re keeping our luggage until we leave tonight, so I’m super grateful about that. The only thing I’d add to the room is better lighting for the bathroom’s mirror, since I could really see what I was doing 🤣 And maybe a better system to order in the pub, since it was a bit slow… But the food was Ok for a quick bite. Everyone was nice and I’d definitely would come back 🙌🏾

I got to the hotel around 5 pm and there was no one at the reception. I went to the restaurant and a young gentleman said he can help me check in. At first he couldn't find my booking as I had done it through TRIPS.COM. Finally he found it I went to my room. La habitación tenía un AC que funcionaba bien. Me senté bien dormida. 2日間滞在しました。ヒースロー空港近くのレンタカー会社から車で1時間ちょっとで着きます。駐車場は1日￡5でした。コッツウォルズを巡るのにちょうど良い場所でした。 スタッフの方々は、4人程見かけましたが皆さん優しく迎えてくれました。 室内は清潔で、ちょうど良い広さです。水回りが清潔で良かったです。コンセントの場所も多く、便利だと思います。タオル、ドライヤーがついています。ハウスキーピングは、カウンターで事前にお願いするようです。お願いし忘れており、後からタオルのみ交換をお願いしましたがすぐに換えてくれました。 ボディーソープ、シャンプー、リンス、歯磨きセット等は事前に用意した方が良いと思います。 すぐそばにガソリンスタンドや飲食店(KFC、スターバックスコーヒー等)、スーパーがあるのでとても便利です。 丁寧な対応ありがとうございました。機会があればまた行きたいです。

En el campo de Stratford, en un hermoso edificio de madera con rayos. La habitación era oscura pero espacial. Teníamos la habitación familiar con un doble y dos solos. El desayuno estaba incluido. No hay menús, pero el espectador dijo cualquier combinación de desayuno en inglés que era grande. Tengo dos huevos en la cocina. El único problema era la falta de comunicación sobre la ruta habitual para encontrar el hotel cerrado debido a obras de carretera. Navegar un sistema de una manera en una ciudad desconocida sin correo electrónico ni llamada para dejarnos saber cómo iba a llegar al hotel fue extremadamente estresante y nos puso 1.5 horas detrás del calendario para llegar. El hotel podría haber sido ordenado si hubiera contactado trip.com con la línea de tierra proporcionada en la reserva y explicado sobre las obras de carretera para que pudiera haber sido advertido.
