Me he alojado en el InterContinental por viajes de negocios anteriormente, pero esta vez llevé a mis dos hijos a Jinan y me quedé en Shangri-La. Antes de llegar al hotel, Geng Wenqi, el director de relaciones con los huéspedes del hotel, nos llamó y nos preguntó cuándo llegaríamos. Sabiendo que viajábamos con nuestros hijos, preparamos postres especialmente para nosotros. Los niños estaban muy felices. Definitely not a 5 star hotel they claim to be on Trip.com. The first room we were checked-in had a broken window that couldn’t be opened and the reception didn’t know about it, although the window was closed with a tape and they should have known that this room had a problem. There were not many guests in the hotel and plenty of rooms to be offered. In the next room we found out that the show was out of hot water. The problem was with the central supply system and instead of repairing it themselves, the hotel engineer was coming to our room claiming that we should discharge water for 5-10 minutes before hot water starts coming out. This kept going for almost an hour, we were tired and wanted to sleep because it was late evening. The problem didn’t require our assistance because the problem was with the whole hot water supply system, not with our exact room. Also, they brought us a small heater to the room which I was surprised about, but then I understood that it was because the air-conditioner which had a heater mode, didn’t work well. I doubt that the hotel would have enough heaters for all rooms in case they had more guests. Without the heater it was quite cold in the room. Next morning the house keeper came at 9-30 am!!!Which is insane. We were sleeping. I’ve never encountered a hotel at which the house keeper came that early and disturbed the guests. Finally when leaving the hotel, we wanted to take those one-time use sleepers with us to use during the flight and found out to our surprise, that for 4 days we were living in the hotel sleepers were not changed even once. I called the reception, it was early morning (like 6-30 am) and they told me that the house keeper will bring us the sleepers when she comes to work. I told that we were leaving already and the reception promised to bring the sleepers asap. 10 minutes later nobody came and we went to check-out. At the check-out I asked for the sleepers again and told the receptionist that the taxi has almost arrived, so that she could bring us the sleepers first and then proceed with the check-out. She didn’t listen to me, still first processed the check-out and only after it went for the sleepers. So it basically took me half an hour and my nerves to get the sleepers that were supposed to be in my room from the very beginning. The general manager talked to us after the case with the hot water and the house keeper coming early in the morning. He was very polite, but this doesn’t eliminate the fact that basic services in this hotel leave much to be desired. On the plus side, very comfortable beds and clean spacious room.

Decidí viajar a Zibo con poca antelación. Me perdí las vacaciones del Primero de Mayo y llegué temprano para registrarme a finales de abril. La alfombra no me ennegrece los pies cuando camino descalzo y la habitación sí. No tengo ningún olor peculiar. ¡Estoy muy satisfecho con esto! 2. Instalaciones del hotel: no hay sala de lavandería, lo cual es un poco complicado. Desde que vine de Beijing por varios días, todavía dependo mucho de la lavadora. Espero que el hotel pueda tener la oportunidad de mejorar. Este servicio funciona de manera que pueda satisfacer la demanda de muchos huéspedes, aumentando así las tarifas de reserva. 3. Good location, good service, but unfortunately there was an issue during my stay with the hotel water. After reporting it to the hotel staff, it was quickly seen to though. Apart from the cold morning shower, my stay was good. Hotel buffet is well stocked with several Eastern and Western dishes.

Si te bajas cerca de la estación West Qingdao, este es tu hotel al que debes ir. Fue el mejor hotel en el que me alojé en Qingdao. Enorme habitación espaciosa, muy limpia y de alta tecnología, personal educado, buen servicio. El hotel parecía totalmente nuevo y era la habitación más grande en la que me alojé por un precio económico durante mi estancia en Qingdao. Si necesita un lugar cerca de la estación West Qingdao, este es su hotel.
